Seriously, if she shows up again for a third knuckle sandwich, I might just die of laughter.

Does that make me a bad person?
If she shows up? She definitely will, just like Conrad Verner. They're running jokes, they have to be there.

Personally, I'm just curious what the successor to "snide insinuations" and "disingenuous assertions" will be.

when I watched it the thing that stood out most was the thresher maw attacking the reaper, but all in all I enjoyed it

if you play through Shadow Broker at the end you have access to camera feeds for various people including her. one I had come up had her get punched, by I think it was, a krogan, and in another she got kicked by an volus. so either shepard is a bad influence on people or she really likes pressing people til they attack her

Mass Effect 3 comes out on March 6, just four days from today, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
Unless, you know, you live in Europe and you have to wait seven more days. Bloody Americans.

I think the greatest thing about this trailer is when Shepard tells the Illusive Man to go to hell. Can't wait to say that to him myself. Space battles are also cool.
As an American who is rabidly awaiting the stateside release of Xenoblade Chronicles, right back atchya x10.

OT: Epic trailer is epic. Love the grand feel of it. The previous trailers just didn't make the conflict feel all that big, but this...

OT: this is by far the best of the trailers, cant wait for the game (stupid arbitrary release dates)

Okay then... I've failed to not get over hyped for this game. Still, I'm trying not to get my expectations too high. I know something is up with the endings, but I refuse to look into any spoilers so hopefully that won't disappoint too much. Never the less, finally finishing the trilogy is going to be a bitter sweet feeling.

Anyway... back to impatiently awaiting the sixth.

That's what I'm hoping for.

Also, I'd personally find it funny if they forwent the whole "flowery language" deal for this last installment and just had Shepard say "I'm tired of your bullshit." Just because it'd be unexpected, and the move to simpler language could be interpreted as poking fun at all the people accusing BioWare of 'dumbing down' ME3.

Then again, those people would think that using the word "bullshit" is evidence of that same dumbing down...

Lol, that's a good point. At the same time, I almost want it to go over-the-top with how complicated it is. Like, 5 words long, spoken like he's in Shakespeare XD

Also, this being the final installment in the main series, I kinda want there to be an option to shoot her, but that may be a bit cruel.

Not to worry, it doesn't matter. I thought it would be a big deal, but it wasn't.

I expected something like the starwars battle videos or the trailer of Shepard fighting the Reapers on earth with all the solders, but I gotta say they put together a really exciting video especially since it's all scenes from the game.

What I really liked seeing: familiar squadmates, the action, and the space battles

What I didn't like: I just don't like some of the clothes they wear or how somethings look shitty sometimes and eye popping at others, the sex scene, and Shepard's voice. It turns out I really wished they picked someone else to be Shepard's voice actor.

"If you're not ready to die, you're already dead." Paraphrasing but... really? That ranks up there with "We fight or we die, that's the plan". Nope, that's what you do when all of your plans and back-up plans have failed and you have nothing left. Can we tell that Bioware's lead writer quit yet?

Okay, okay. It does look suitably epic and supposedly they fixed all the mistakes from ME2 (haven't seen any sign of that in the ME3 demo yet...) So it is still worth... downloading :)
While I don't presume to know, yet, the way I interpreted that line was 'the only chance we have is for all of us to put aside all our differences and fight. There's no surrendering to the Reapers, we have nothing to offer them but our lives. So unless every single being in the Galaxy that knows one end of a gun from the other is willing to fight to their last breath, rather than try and run or make a deal with the Reapers, then there's no hope for any of us.'

Bit of a long-winded explanation for such a short line I know, but that's just my opinion.

Edit: In other News. Motivational speech from Garrus. How can so few seconds of dialogue contain so much win?!

Because Garrus's voice actor is amazing. The line itself would not have worked without it, I think.

Ugh...I hope I'm not the only one unimpressed by the overly used hyped-up fancy trailer to show off an otherwise mediocre game that features absolutely none of the trailer incorporated into the actual gameplay itself.

Cinematography is there to look cool, so yes if you like mass effect you're gonna drool over this despite the fact that it means absolutely nothing to the game itself, it gives us no insight into how the interface is going to work and what gameplay mechanics there are.

Hellgate London, Final Fantasy XIII, Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, these games all had fantastic opening cutscenes, and yet were at best mediocre games and at worst unbelievably boring.

Cutscenes do not define a game, and they shouldn't. This is a trailer for a movie, at least that's how it's presented. It's NOT presented as a trailer for an interactive media, ala a video game.

I won't go into huge detail picking apart individual straws in this thing except for one part. "You need to be willing to die or you're already dead," is easily one of the most retarded things I've ever heard anyone say.

I was expecting something more.

I remember Mass Effect when it wasn't a hyped actiony thriller. Y'know, the Mass Effect I cared about? This looks like Call of Duty in space.

I think I really am too old for video games.
The only difference between this trailer and you know an original Mass Effect trailer [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqJuJTIus7U&feature=related] is a higher budget.

I think people just like to complain.

I'm excited for the game, but the closer it gets the more I dread that it's going to get a heavy dose of DA2 injected in its ass... The more I see, the more it seems like EA is taking too much control of the game (and I'm not talking about the DLC. I actually don't care about that all too much).
