I went to their website a read some of they're other issues, I'm not angry at these people I'm just sad for them. Think about it these are people who are probably in their 40s, 50s, and 60s whose lives are so pathetic and empty they spend their time watching programming intended for children and closely studying advertisements and then bitching on the internet about pointless meticulous details all while falsely re-assuring themselves that they are just being "passionate" and there a thousands of these people.

Lovely. I am starting to feel intense apathy towards the silliness that seems to be around every single corner.

For what it's worth, I have the Captain America and Hulk ones (don't judge me) and they haven't spurned any violent rage in me....
I desperately want to use this to make a snarky comment with your Caramelldansen avatar, but I can't make it work...

It's funny because these are the comic book heroes that the people in the group grew up reading. Fine for them as children but not fine for children nowadays.

I never liked McDonalds. I would actually like that it disappears. But their excuse to remove them is kinda pointless. I would have a lot more reasons to retire those games...
I hate McDonalds as well, but that's only because I've watched food Inc and know how farm animals suffer to bring us the food we eat there.

Perhaps the CCFC wants them to do back to beanie baby toys, or perhaps Beanie Babies are acutally cute fluffy spans of satan. I honestly have no clue where these people are coming from. I mean this isn't one lunatic raving in the streets, this is a whole fucking GROUP!?

Wow.. I thought the Government couldn't get any dumber. Guess they showed me. I thought Superheroes were good guys. The CCFC saying that these toys that INCLUDE CAPTAIN AMERICA as bad for children is as dumb as Star Wars Holiday Special..

These guys might disagree with the CCFG. I suggest that this group listen to them.

I think these people might just need to read, and understand, A Clockwork Orange. Bit of a long shot I know.

" Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood"

So umm, roughly translates into - "Please don't show our kids anything that might lead to them asking us to spend money on toys and the usual childhood things, we're all fun killing tight ass spoil sports here"

Yet more proof people should have to pass my test (on going work) before being allowed to continue living.

Maybe if they were giving out action figures of the Punisher, there would be a problem.

As it is, this is just them being idiots.

My lord someone needs to get a hobby.

Seriously, can anyone read this and not burst out in laughter? Who the heck do these people think they are? Whining about SUPERHEROES?

Spiderman, Spiderman
Does whatever a childcorruptor can.
Builds a web, of commercial lies.
Catches kids, just like flies.
Look out, here is the new themesong for the CCFC

Actually happened, parents boycotted Power Rangers over violence, showing that ignorance always reamins. They just watch motorcycle ninjas punch a demon, without looking at lessons of justice, and teamwork. They see a dude on fire, and don't realise it's about stopping evil and fighting for what's right.

There needs to be less advocacy groups enabling parents to NOT parent, and more parents, UH DUR, parenting! If you don't want your kid to have a super hero happy meal, then (gasp) don't buy him one! But maybe saying 'no' to junior just isn't in you, Mr Smith Spineless.

Seriously, its stuff like this that makes me wish that people needed a license to breed. If you don't even have the wherewithal to be able to control your kids, then why the hell did you have them?

such /facepalm.

This makes me brain hurt. The only "problem" I can see with these toys is their popularity. When they have toys that are of characters that popular, kids want the Happy Meals so they can get the toys. And they want ALL of the toys, so they want a lot of Happy Meals, and there are many parents who are willing to give in to a temper tantrum. That's the only down side I can possibly see from this.
