I think someone's said it already, but the trailer isn't great.

But then again I ignorantly judged Apocalypse Lane before it turned out to be one of the best shows on the Escapist!

I'm looking forward to it, and the Escapist staff have done a grand job responding to criticisms.

I probably shouldn't do this, since it seems that the furry fans are the only ones with positive things to say about this trailer, but Game Dogs is not about people who dress up like animals.

If I've just decimated our potential audience for this show, then I'll just have to live with that. Because it's just not - just really, totally not - about furries.

They're dogs. Who make games. They are not furries. Seriously.
I have to agree they are not furries. They anthropomorphic cartoon characters. A furry is someone who like these type of cartoons and not all of them dress up like animals nor do they draw porn. Some just draw normal fanart or a furry persona(aka fursona) so all this furry bashing is just misguide attempt to hate on this show.
Well said. Its a show, it stars dogs, who make games, and its got comedy. The fact the main characters are animals shouldnt be seen as "OMG ITS FURRY!" , as it was stated before, its easier to draw, and I am sure there is some comedy reasoning behind it too.

Looking forward to this series, and I really hope it will be entertaining. From the trailers I have seen I think it will :)

This show looks stupid, the voices are grating and the ad screws with my browser. Seriously, who looks at that and says "that's a wonderful idea for a show"?
that's a wonderful idea for a show

but really, no one's forcing you to watch it, so stop hatin'

Unimportant supporter of the who cares demographic.

Their animal characters, so?
If something being based on an animal makes it wrong then you really shouldn't be able to cope with your own reflection. Humans are part of the animal kingdom after all.

If as soon as you see an anthropomorphic character you think it's something to do with an attraction to none sentient species then either your pro furry characters (in much the same way that strong denials are to hide personal truths), or your quaking in your tin-foil hat waiting for the great furry invasion through your plasma screen.

Look, their appearance is completely irrelevant, in charactertures an appearance is their to highlight part of a personality, and so its easier to do that with breeds of dog (everyone knows what small yappy dogs are like, and what big wrinkly saint Bernards are like) its just an art style.

my own stupidity aside, I hold to what I said before: could be good, the animation style has a few overlap problems, I hope it becomes a great success.

I get reminded of Dilbert... Am I the only one?
Yeah, it pretty much like Dilbert, but with games and dogs instead of useless products and (usually) humans.
