Michael "ruin a franchise" Bay can F*ck off along with your lousy acting abilities. You are nothing but lackluster eye candy M Fox, and that's being generous bc there are far more attractive actresses out there that actually have talent.

This movie looks awful and I won't pay money to see it just like i did with the "transformers" movies. Maybe if a better director did a remake, there would be hope for TMNT. I rather just watch the original.
the only tolerable film Mbay has done was The Rock and he can thank Sean Connery for that.

and telling potential viewers to watch your film and like it, or "F*ck off" is down right classy there... lmao. we really shouldn't be surprised, trash produces trash.

No Thank you. Won't be watching it in theaters but I pretty much have to watch it just to see how terrible it is. Lets just say they won't be getting paid for my view. Also just because something makes money does not mean its good. Justin Bieber sells records by the millions simply because he appeals to the lowest common denominator. The transformers movies do the same exact thing. Not exactly something to be proud of.

What I DONT GET is how come Megan Fox was sacked by Michael Bay from the transformers movies for being a ***** and saying something about him as well if i remember correctly. And then she gets a job on his new project o_O
From what I understand about the situation it wasn't really Bay's idea to fire her. It was Spielberg, who was an exec. producer on the transformers movies, that demanded she get canned for her comments. Since then Fox and Bay have buried the hatchet and Spielberg isn't part of the production team from the new ninja turtles movie.

I don't think it looks that good, but the rage over the trailer baffles me a bit.
Don't know the narrative or what silly things they're doing to twist conventional TMNT lore, but I don't understand why people don't understand why some people are mad.

Anime watchers: pick one you like and give it to Michael Bay, featuring Megan Fox and Whoopi Goldberg. If you don't like it, fuck off. You'll probably pay to see it anyway.

...Way to cut out the part where I said that Megan Fox was in the wrong for her statement. She had a slight point, in that the people constantly complaining about things before launch always seem unable to help themselves from spending money on it. *cough*Modern Warfare 2 boycott*cough* That said, she chose the best phrase possible to piss off any fans on the fence about seeing it, since they clearly don't matter to her at all.

As for me, if they were to, say, take Monster (probably my favorite anime) and give it to Michael Bay, and the trailer didn't look like it would appeal to me, I wouldn't watch it. That's it. I wouldn't go online, find every article on the Escapist that mentions the movie, and talk about how much it's going to suck.

The Transformers cartoon was a good series about robots... made to sell toys to kids. And the Transformers movies are simplified versions for the mainstream audience. Let it sink to you. Simplified versions of kid's toys advertisements...

...Fox, Bay, any everyone else involved with films like this are well within their rights to just tell the whiners to fuck off. They have no reason to care what anyone says, it's what people do that matters.
Because "fuck off" is the best example of what to say when you don't care...

Isn't this coming from the same actress that utterly hates Michel Bay?
That doesn't surprise me, considering her sudden return to working on things with Bay's name attached. It was her outward expression of contempt for Bay that got her booted out of the Transformers franchise in the first place. When I saw that she'd be playing April in this fail of a TMNT movie, I immediately thought that she must be trying to crawl back into his good graces. After all, what else has she done since Transformers that anyone remotely cares about or remembers, good OR bad? Exactly. And then, looking at what she is quoted to say in this article, it reminds me of an almost word for word account of Bay's sentiments regarding his movies. So yeah, this is the PR equivalent of a shit-eating grin. Anything to keep Bay happy.

Assuming Bay intends to milk this franchise for all it's worth like he did with Transformers, she probably wants to ride this cash cow for all it's worth instead of falling off mid-romp.

Would it be wrong to suggest that thousands of anime fans would probably have a few colorful words to say about a Michael Bay anime film? Heck, if he's not available, why not give another anime to M. Night Shyamalan (apologies, I know there is no Airbender film)?

Point is this is a beloved piece of fiction close to a lot of childhoods and it's getting the Call of Duty treatment. Why wouldn't people be a bit pissy? That's pretty normal for this sort of situation; what isn't normal is for one of the stars to attack those fans and knows the film is a milking.

I hate to admit it but I am on her side on this. People who complain about it before its even out should shut it. Wait till it is out, see it, if it is shit congrats you called it, but no ones gives a damn. If not then you just made a big fucking deal over nothing. It sickens me that people get so torn up about this kind of thing, shouldn't we just be happy that teenage mutant ninja turtles are a thing again, that the newer generation get to see things like transformers, spider man, and tmnt on the big screen? Also why do you care if other people enjoy the movie or not? Are people just mad because the things we once geeked out to as kids are being spread around? Is it not cool now because it's mainstream?

How is this news? Who cares what people think about a movie, or what Megan Fox cares about people who hate her new movie. It's gonna make money anyway. Micheal Bay directs films that simply appeal to the mindless masses.

probably gonna get a lot of hate for this but... she's right

I don't like Michael Bay movies so I haven't watched any of them after the first Transformers movie and I probably won't watch this either but all of my friends, despite how much they complain about what a horrible director he is, they go see all his movies day 1 and come back to tell me how horrible it was and that I shouldn't watch it. Which isn't a problem, like I said I haven't seen any of his movies after the first Transformers sucked

Maybe be she just really takes pride in her work and is too stupid/ignorant to express that in any other way?

Didn't she have a fallout with Bay after Transformers 2 (or was it 3)? I thought she didn't want to associate with him anymore. I was surprised to hear she was involved in TMNT when it was announced. Also, looking through this thread, a lot of people can't seem to separate Megan Fox as a person and whatever shallow character(s) she was poorly directed to perform as. The same thing that happened to Kristen Stewart back in the Twilight hayday that still persists, remember?

She does have a point though, fuck the people that dread the release of a licensed movie but still contribute money to is box office run anyway.

Why did she use a specific example of a movie she wasn't in? She should have used Transformers 2 as the example since that's the last Michael Bay movie she was in.
Because everybody, and most of all the people who were actually IN it, wants to forget that that movie even exists.

Not exactly easy to look back in Bay's career and find films people want to remember.
