Megan Fox Wants to Star in a Live-Action Sailor Moon Movie

Also what? Gundam Wing? Last time they try to make a lived action Gundam film was G-Saviour which was a disaster (I'm pretty sure Gundam aren't made for the live action screen due to how much they have to cramp in the war politics into mere hours film length!!

I think a competent writer could do a Gundam-style plot if it was an original story. Show two sides of a conflict but pull a mind screw and make the audience think its different military units from the same side. Have them both talk up the other side as some kind of evil demons and give all the individuals on each side a reason for hating people on the other side. Spend the first 9/10ths of the story establishing character motivations and backstory, and building up for the final battle, then in the final 1/10th of the movie have them all kill each other and then cut to credits. Have the short denouement play during the credits as the survivors pick themselves out of the rubble and moan wistfully about the stupidity of war.

It could work, right?

I feel like due to my love of Sailor Moon I kind of HAVE to say something, but I don't wanna participate in Megan Fox hate because that is so five years ago.

I could buy her as Sailor Mars, or Pluto maybe.
But I kind of don't want a Sailor Moon movie anyway cause they'd just make it terrible.

I wouldn't much care to see Fox in ANYTHING since she's a fucking awful actress. Nor would I much like to see Hollywood butcher another Japanese franchise they're completely incapable of grasping the basic point of (Dragonball Evolution anyone?). Hell, they have a hard enough time doing a semicompetant adaptation of WESTERN cartoons (The Last Airbender?), why do people keep thinking live-action Hollywood anime movie adaptations are a good idea?

As someone who gives absolutely no fucks about sailor moon, I'd be down to look at megan fox in the outfit but my level of interest stops there.
