The video becomes informative at 18:12, when he talks about the inertia in the animations for that "signature heavy modern feel."

Edit: Still watching. Some good points about how they broke the game by not completely rebalancing it against his new abilities, including level design.

Edit: Glad he pointed out how crappy the "legacy" controls are, but disappointed in him for not knowing that you could already strafe while aiming in the original.

Electric Underground is a contrarian idiot full of shit. Not worth listening to the know-nothing chatterbox. This fucker is the same guy who bitches about remakes, but is willing to suck the dick of Ninja Gaiden II Black. I love the game, but fuck him and his hypocritical attitude. This is the same fool who made a complaint about Gungrave GORE (a game and franchise that's always been about third person arcade corridor shooter) Not having any exploration options and being "too linear". After the biatch constantly cried about there being "too many open world games and Dark Souls clones". The fucking biatch ain't consistent for shit. Only you would fall for his bullshit.

Adding to this: one of these said grifters (Electric Underground) that hated on the RE4 Remake and claiming how is the culmination of a bankrupt industry and ruining gaming is getting excited and wants to play Ninja Gaiden II Black. I have nothing against this game, but I find it funny that a person that's been crusading against remakes; all sudden is excited for a remake. A remake that is literally the same game, but with the gore added back in and slightly less bonus features than Sigma 2. It just really shows how hypocritical and full of shit these type of people are and they're just jumping on band wagons to sound smart but the moment it's something they like or hope, and nobody notices, they'll go the opposite direction.

Here is his comment by the way, on someone else's video:

Amazing timing lol, I was just playing chapter 1 on Master Ninja minutes ago. The Master Ninja Version of this game is interesting because since the enemy spawns are pretty much the same as Sigma 2, a lot of the stage is relatively chill. And then you enter combat arenas and one hit basically kills. I'm having a ton of fun with it, but it certainly is a different beast than OG2. I'm honestly a bit surprised TN didn't do more to change this version from Sigma 2 (graphics aside) because I went through and counted the additional enemies in stage one (took forever) and they just added the 3 one-armed ninjas in the thousand lives room, a random stray ninja in the fire nimpo room, and 4 claw guys to the area where you get the staff. That's it. The delimb rate is def much more near the original release (it's insane how claw guys hardly ever delimb in sigma 2) but I'm really curious to see if there is a difference in damage taken in NG2Black. I'm gonna check on that before I finish my review of this game. Honestly this is a complicated beast to judge because in some ways the graphics additions and increased de-limb are worth it for me personally (NG2 is an all-time fav of mine as well) but on the other hand it's a shame the release isn't beefier, even outside of not preserving the OG version's enemy spawns more. But then again even a nerfed NG2 is still way more fun than the other stuff coming out right now, so I think in my review I am mostly gonna present hard data and my thoughts, but here's to hoping the game gets more support from TN. An OG enemy spawn option would be incredible, but TN probably won't go that far.

We love you David Hayter!

Knew Brawlman would complain about Electric Underground again, but also knew that he would say nothing about the points he made, because all Brawlman is is vindictive and petty. Just like in the "arguments" with me, in which he never speaks on the points, only about my character or whatever BS. Truth is that he doesn't like actual critique, reflected by the boring videos he posts. EU's point about remake culture was of course spot on.

Once again, projecting and talking about yourself. If a fool falls for a bigger fool, then that's on you, and sucks to be you. I already showed my proof. His comment is still in the comment sections of that Ninja Gaiden II Black video. He bitched about about not having enough linear games, then complains about a linear game being too linear, when it gave him everything he wanted. He bitches about remakes, and immediately gets a remake without any hesitation.

You like Electric Underground so much, because he is you. You're both entitled, selfish, wishy washy and miserable about almost anything modern, hypocritical, and either fall for the grift or are selling the grift.

"Metal Gear is the one that is in a unique situation where I honestly do not want another Metal Gear game. I feel like the series has reached its conclusion and we should let it rest."

I don't understand this perspective. The series reached its conclusion with MGS1, and then again with MGS2, and again with MGS3, and again with MGS4, and again with MGS5. Why is so hard to imagine a sequel with new characters, set in, say, 2040?

"Some things are bad, are obtuse and could be improved on. Like, I'd rather play the Subsistence camera angles in the jungle segments compared to the original release's."

I closed the video. He doesn't understand the design of the game: why the map is the way it is and why the soldiers are how they are and why the mechanics are as they are.

Did skip ahead earlier to find him say that the legacy options are faithful to the original, which is a lol-worthy claim for all the reasons I explained.

Ain't that hard to figure out. Sounds more like a you issue than anything else. Some people do have their own end points, but MGS4 (regardless how you or anyone else's feelings on the whole game) is the clear final game in the Solid timeline for most people. Cvit is not wrong for feeling and thinking that way.

Plus, Cvit did advocate for more games in the Metal Gear universe or a Rising 2, but having their own unique stories, and not just revisiting Snake and/or Big Boss again for the millionth time. Helps that you should have actually watched the video, and not closed itover being butt-hurt due to someone having a different opinion, and not be in your little echo chamber.

Without reading your post, I want to add that if that's his preference, that's cool, but he states it as a matter of fact. Nah, man, he's wrong. He cheats because he plays the original with a camera it wasn't designed for.

Nah, man, he's wrong.
In your very subjective and dubious opinion. He's not inherently "right or wrong". It's his opinion, and nothing more.

He didn't "cheat". He's played all versions of MGS3, and has the original PS2 release before Subsistence. Don't pull that "not a true fan" bullshit. That can go to hell.

I didn't say he's not a fan, I said he's a cheater, because he is, and that's a fact. Subsistence camera is illegitimate because the other design of the game stayed the same.

I said he's a cheater, because he is WWAAHHHHH, because I said so and have the final authority!!!!
This is why no one takes you seriously. Blah blah, same old bullshit from you. No one cares, but the small echo chambers you sniff each others farts in. Have fun with that, and cope.

No, it's not an opinion. There are such things as facts. It's not all subjective like you want to pretend when you cope. The Subsistence camera is objectively the cheat because it circumvents the original design of the game, which was not altered. That the original camera angles mostly look a lot better is my (subjective) opinion, though.
