But, but, but... But I hate Skyrim! But I love this! How could this be? What do I do? Oh, man. So confused.

Ok, don't get me wrong, Gavin, I love your "classic rock" songs. But I think that it's when you try new genres that your talent truly shines. That's why this song is one of your best one (right there with Little Sister and New Black Gold).

This song reminds me a bit of Rhapsody of Fire, in a very good way.
Great song again, love it.

Well, that was just awesome. Love the "And my voice is my violence" line.

Also was some of the new equipment used to make this?

Like the changes in tempo, keeps things interesting.

EDIT: Just to show you how awesome this is, it made me forget about Feed Dump.

On a scale of brilliant to brilliant this is somewhere in the OHMYGOD AAAH

This is definitely your best song yet, I've had it on repeat since I heard it first. :D

I must agree with the rest of the commenters, this was your best work yet man. Up there with Commander Shep and Wasteland Soul as my favourites. In fact I'm going to go back and listen to them all again about 10 times each right now, brb.

This one's very good. It's one of those songs that you don't need to be a fan of the game to really enjoy it (as happens to other songs sometimes). Kudos, Gav!

From the beginning I was thinking, this would be great if it was instrumental, but my god when it really picked up (2 minutes in?), I'm glad you did sing on it. Great job as always, but this song was another one of those special ones that should be in my playlist right now.

Amazing lyrics on this one too, not too repetitive like most of the time.

After another listen, that pick up at roughly 2 minutes in gives me chills, and not because I'm cold aha.

I think I'm just going to listen to this one song for a while now, I fucking love MoS.

EDIT: Third listen in, and I've come to the conclusion I don't like the vocal work between 40 seconds and 2 minutes. How many layers is there in that section? Because I think it needed toning down a bit or maybe it didn't blend well enough.

...and how freaking often do you make a chorus out of one line that repeats twice?
Er... never, My choruses always have 2-4 lines min.

Seems to be the consensus. What a relief! So glad people are digging it, I almost gave myself a meltdown making it :D

Simply amazing, Gav. Simply amazing.

I can't wait to hear more of your work now that you have all that fancy new software? (Equipment?)to work with.
Yeah, got some interesting stuff on the way in Jan :)

This is seriously the best thing you've done so far, dude. You clearly bring something special to the table when you especially like the game in question.

Keep doing songs about games you care about, Gav. That's the only thing you really need to do to keep pleasing your fans. Fantastic job.
I think you're right. I guess the best stuff always comes from things you're passionate about.

People have said that this piece is amazing, and I couldn't agree more. I'm quite honestly speechless: it was that good. Wow... just wow.

Someone give this man an award. If he didn't deserve one before, he does now. Maybe two for good measure.
Haha thanks :) I'd like to thank my pet dragon Odahviing and my Housecarl Lydia

Awesome song, it reminds me a lot of the stuff Falconer and Van Canto do. Keep it up. =D
First thing I thought of was Falconer, though this is more minstrel-ish rock than minstrel-ish power metal, if it's possible to split hairs that finely.

I saw this article while in the middle of listening to this:

And thought to myself... "How fitting..."
That's a great song. I was personally put in mind of Blind Guardian's "Skalds and Shadows."

yeah, I know the feeling.
Also, thanks for the help with Miracle of Sound and Normandy, I played them both for a Music Performance assessment and more than passed on the backs of them alone, no need for a third song!

That middle part is DAMN good. Like DAMN FUCKING good. Wow. Well done Gav. I didn't quite like the last two songs as much as your average work. Good to see you back in form buddy!

I love it :) If I have one complaint, it's that the voice chorus-ing sounds a little artificial, but otherwise it's amazing.

.
It's not actually - I sang it all in, 24 separate vocal tracks. If it sounds chorused I'll take that as a compliment as it means I synced them well. ;)
