When people see me they usually think three things: Nerdy, Jewish, and an Asshole. I am none of these things (well I kinda am half-Jewish, but I've been baptized and confirmed as a Catholic). Also because I watch anime people in my school automatically think of me as some geeky pervert, which I am basically the opposite of. I hate the people at my school.

Overtly Christian, pro gay marriage. Also, I'm generally a nice sensitive, outgoing type of guy, but I download every episode of Dexter the day it comes out and own the first 4 seasons on DVD...

I have rather narrow eyes, this often misleads people into believing I'm asian. I'm white British.
That's interesting. I often mislead others into thinking I'm British, simply because I like to speak eloquently. On the other hand, my manner of speaking and my mild-mannered personality also lead me to surprise people when I tell them I'm a metalhead.

I'm a prickly, abrasive, irritable person at first flush, but take a bit of time to get to know me and you realize I'm one of the sweetest, gentlest people you'll ever meet, playful and affectionate as a puppy.

Due to my long hair, and my lazy eye, people think I am high ALL THE TIME...
I havnt even had soda pop in a year and a half.
Also, apparently, by not smiling, it makes me terribly depressed... I just look awkward when I smile, so I don't do it.

I have a pair of gloves that look like they are knit from the outside, but the inside is lined and warm!

I'm quite hairy, wear leather jackets and am fairly muscular. However, I wouldn't harm a fly.

Well, maybe a fly, by you get the idea.
The same can be said about me pretty much. I'm pretty imposing, yet mostly harmless. Then, once people get to know me as the harmless guy, they learn that I can occasionally be aggressive under the right circumstances.

I'm not sure what people think when they first meet me so I'll take a guess...
Shy but tough, reasonable and polite.
I'm only Shy if I don't know you, but I'm pretty crazy once I know you. I'm a walking breadstick covered in styrofoam and hair, so I'm not tough at all. Just hairy and decently sized. I'm generally a reasonable person, I guess. I'm polite to the generations before me and sort-of-kinda polite to people I know.

I am a teacher and I dress fairly nice on a regular basis. Most people, especially those who have met me in the last few years, don't realize that I am actually a punk kid who has grown up a little, but has the same punk attitude and views. They really think I am a straight laced preppy kind of guy. It makes me laugh.

I look like a stereotypical indie band guitarist, possibly, but I don't actually play guitar. Though I do want to learn the drums. I also weirdly enough happen to be more neat and clean than most of the girls I know. And I have a really odd name (Trivun Luzaic, which is Serbian), but I'm as English as they come. Though to be fair I was named after my grandfather, who was Serbian... :p

I didn't realize that your weight and vegetarianism have nothing to do with each other...
People tend to view vegetarians as being thin hippies... sort of like this.

Which is funny because I know that alot of vegetarians are a little more weighty.

Normally I'm hinted at being very mean, bitter and angry. That's because of the look I give when I relax my face. Why? Because I think through high school I got bigger and didn't want to be picked on anymore. So I stuck to Football even when I didn't like it. Doubled up on Wrestling since I enjoyed throwing people around, and basically scowled until my face stuck like that.

I'm a pretty nice guy, as my friends, relatives, and people who had spoken to me longer than 30 seconds told me. Hell, everyone called me a cute little Panda after they saw me resting on the couch one time. Hence the name :3

I dress normally and act normally, people have no idea that i'm a video game nerd with a taste for heavy metal music.
Me? How am I here already, I don't rememeber...

Oh. You're not me. Stop taking my thing :p
Lol, this is kind of amusing but i shouldn't be surprised that there are people on here who full fill the character traits i described.

Anyhow, a question: Since coming to university i've invariably slipped into the "normal people" crowd, i've never actually been able to make many friends who are quite my sort. Part of me thinks that if i had grown long hair and worn Iron Maiden or video game t-shirts from day one then i may have made friends with people more my type, as they would have been able to see what my interests are just by looking at me, and not assume i'm just another student with normal interests.

It says on your profile that your a student like me, have you had similar problems?

Not especially since my course is geared towards attracting mostly nerds, but I guess I don't really fit within the crowd I actually hang out with, not one of them shares my musical tastes xD there is a metalhead clique but I only occasionally hang out with them. I guess it just depends on how much overlap there is between your degree and other interests. I guess if there's metalheads or gamers on your course just strike up a conversation if you can and get talking to them.

I have long hair so people think i'm some sort of rocker person. really, I just can't be arsed to get a hair cut...
Sounds familiar. Who'd have thought that under all this hair lived a lifelong jazz fan?

There's also the rather blank smile which seems to be my default expression, which people take to mean I'm either drunk or stupid. Add that to my small stature and you end up with someone who is underestimated rather more than is reasonable. Funny, though.

People always assume that i'm ridiculously intelligent. I don't know why, (maybe it's the way I speak) but i'm not.
I have this wierd habbit of winding up with a semi legendary reputation, where ever I go, that I haven't got the faintest clue how to live up to(or how i earned it in the first place).

It's like when people used to follow the buddha around asking him for life tips, and he'd just say "shit I don't know".....(those were probably not his exact words.)
