I thought old bastards and stern parents hated videogames. Now lubed up bimbos hate them too! Why is it that our hobby, which has had numerous studys done on it to see how it affects the average persons aggressivness, social skills etc and proven that games don't effect people in that way. Yet heres this dumb future trophy wife calling videogames the biggest problem for young kids. There are far worse things than videogames, drugs, abuse, divorce, bullying, peer-pressure and depression/suicide to name a few. Get your facts straight you dumb ****!

I'm from America also, and I hadn't the slightest clue that the miss america thing was currently taking place... Then again, I NEVER know when these things are taking place... Goes to show how much their statements really matter after winning that little crown of theirs... As far as I see it anyway...

Yeah, the Miss America pageant is no longer interesting. The contestants have become plasticized robots, by and large, and the 'omg my bff Jill' scheiße is far too ubiquitous to be good television.

I believe someone mentioned Miss America's trash-talking gays last year? Not true: she said that she thought that marriage should be exclusively between a man and a woman (I actually watched it, believe it or not- the one and only time). That's not bad-mouthing gays, that's stating her opinion, technically, which was exactly what she was asked to do. I don't agree with her, but I tip my to her for having the courage to say what she really felt, not what would give her the best score.

In general, I find it's best not to criticize something that I have not experienced nor been a part of (which is why I make it a point not to talk shit about gays or other ethnicities).

I didn't go through all the pages, but in case it hasn't been said:
1) I agree, she and her offspring should go play in traffic and
2) I don't understand why these glorified whores get so much press in the US. They're models. They're all coked up and retarded.

1) "Go play in traffic" is among my favorite ways of dismissing people I don't like, and yes, perhaps they should. "Mommy, mommy, I wanna be roadkill for Halloween!"

2) They don't get much press here at all. I had no idea that the pageant was going on until I saw this thread. And technically, not ALL of them are models- some are legitimately intelligent and fun people. I've hung out with a contestant from a couple of years ago; she was anything but an airhead.

Overall, though, yeah... Not much goes on in the spaces between their ears other than shoes and eye liner.
