I never saw a problem with the 1887's. Maybe that's because I'm a sniper half the time or I'm just that good.

Until you solve all the problems with the PC version(Matchmaking, weapon balancing and hacking) I will never, EVER do that.

There are still enough issues like;

- Lag
- Shitty hosts (they always seem to pick the worst person)
- Randomly throwing people in games where you start with a losing condition and lag
- Bullet registration
- People getting stuck
- People being tanks (taking insane damage)
- Launched grenades disappearing after death
- The 0.5 - 2 second difference in your client experience / killcam
- Snipers not 1 hitting people with hits to the head
- Way to obvious ghillie suits which grant no camouflage at all, rather exposing you
- Matchmaking parties, throwing party members into other lobbies, or quickly entering/exiting a match
- PEER TO PEER HOSTING. YES IT SUCKS.
- Retarded spawns way to close to you (Yes I've had people spawn 2 feet away to kill me instantly without obstructing their normal spawns)
- RPG's firing in a 90% certain pattern
- Lock-on anti-vehicle missiles missing cause they see the sun and like to fly the opposite direction (no chaff/flares involved)
- The amazing stream of 12 year olds who like to use their microphone for earraping the rest.

Sounds like plenty to fix, and yes, IW can fix most of this if they get off their bum and actually make the game better instead of removing obvious and stupid bugs.

Am I the only one that never really saw a problem with the akimbo 1887's?
Seriously, they were unlocked so late (Level 63) because they were powerful.
You get to use what you earn.
Powerful stuff should not be unlocked late, it just creates imbalances between those who bothered to grind and those who did not independent of their skill levels. I treat MW2 multiplayer as a casual game to mess around in instead of a serious competitive game for that reason, a game isn't competitive if you don't get a level playing field to work with. Hell, a player below lv30 can't even effectively shoot a heli down!
Hey now, you start off with a launcher that is perfectly capable of taking stuff down.
And if you didn't get better stuff along the way, what would the point of leveling up be?

I was playing till about 2:45am with some buds and the patch had still not been released.
you wouldnt recieve the patch until you tried to load the disc from the dashboard. it wouldnt just give you the patch if you were already playing the game

Can someone tell me it means by this?? Balanced as in no more akimbos or what???
They 'SEEM' to do less damage is the verdict from my MW2 mad friends. I'll get it one day when it comes down in price....(ahahahahaha!...oh that'll never happen...)

OK, so what does this make now, seven patches in about two months of life?

Jesus Christ IW, get it together.

Not while I can still throw 180 on your forehead. Fix the PC game, and then wait until I mess up a 180, then I'll take it down.

Any word on the patch to fix the amount of campers on XBL? Usually I have no problem with campers, but when an entire team does it match after match it gets frustrating.

If this multiplayer is supposed to be so amazing (same as with the last), how come all I ever hear about either of them is the ridiculous amount of glitches?

I mean, yeah you'll get them in any game, but it just seems like a constant stream of them.
The glitches don't affect the experience for most players and certainly don't affect the overall gameplay.

There are often many bugs present in most titles especially with online interaction, it's just part of making games. The thing isthat when a game is played by millions the issues that were missed by a group of 20 testers tend to show up eventually.

Those public private matches made me rage like nothing else, I went FUCKING BALLISTIC last night when it happened to me 3 times in a row. I snapped my headphone and was || this close to snapping the disc.

NERRRRRRRRRRRRRDRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

It's a game. It's annoying, yes. But destroying your £15-or-so headset and considering destroying your £26-50 disc over it? Seriously?

You crazy, boi.
Well the mic comes free with the xbox and I am buying a turtlebeach soon so its no loss, I can fix it with tape anyway. Its a retarded game, doing something so stupid 3 times in a row, even after the broken multiplayer and ridiculous lag. There is only so much one person can take. It infuriates me how they can put out such a broken game and think they can get away with it. I am going to send them an email, then go back to playing world at war, which actually happened to work.

Great, they finally brought back support for Lean and Dedicated Servers for the PC.

What's that... they haven't done that yet? Then it's still broken.

And they don't even bother to address how un-balanced the killstreak unlocks are.

Fair enough, but the coverage the game gets over glitches is pretty phenomenal. And even on this thread (or another on it) people have said "well what about the so-and-so glitch?".

Thank fuck for that. Im glad MW2 listens to its community.
I hope you being ironic by that as MW2 does everything but listen to it's community.

Is it just me or does it seem so pointless that this game gets a news item for a patch I have never seen the point with news items for a patch.

gotta of love the logic behind given the most expierenced players(the highest level, and so they have been playing the game the longest) the best weapons in the game, very welcoming to new people,it was for me,lucky anyone only ever used two of the best guns and the people with the said best guns were surprising crap,as if all the best guns softened them.
