Georgia attacked South Osetia. This monster Saakashvili ordered a massacre of a peaceful town. Osetia asked for our help. We agreed and then - Georgia attacked our peacemakers. Why haven't Saakashvili seized his assault when Russia agreed to protect Osetia? Because he's a dumb fuck and a war criminal.wootsniper said:

Russian and especially Chinese brothers, PC games are not an exclusive American product. Stop moaning and fight fire with fire. Create a PC game where you get to play as American Muslims, who get to fly airplanes into American skyscrapers. Then get the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation to intervene, bring the terrorist to justice and thereby save the day.

Put it this way, if say, a UK developer (or even a Russian one) were to make a high profile game that showed the American Army as warmongers commiting bad deeds, people in the US would be pretty pissed off. Yes it is just a game and yes they are just fictional terrorists but people are very impressionable.
On an interesting side-note, I noticed that there was no public outcry when Fallout 3 completely bashed the "American Dream" and its "values." Does that mean America is much more tolerant about being viewed negatively in games? Or maybe it was just too subtle for the media to pick up on it? =)
