Wow, people are really dicks to MW2... I FUCKING LOVED THAT GAME (the story that is, some moments still give me goosebumps). There, you assholes, there are people that liked the game. What are going to do about it?
Yep. They're are both overly popular and overly marketed shooters which are plain average at best and aren't even the best in their own genre. Yet all the twelve year old fanturds that suck on the company's dicks will proclaim them the best games ever.
The only similarity I see, is that both Infinity Ward and Bungie are going to be stuck with these franchises forever and will have to keep popping out Halos and Modern Warfares until people finally get sick of them.
Wait... the multiplayer is better in MW2?
The only thing I like better is the addition of throwing knives for knife only private matches and the more players -> less lag.

to me shooters only really get HC on PC when the game actually gets tweaked to be balanced something no longer possible in MW2
the features it added where around in mods and the ones that werent arent really wanted/needed
(games become a streak spamming competition)
other features were removed altogether(most likely to charge for at a later date)

-making the intel stuff actually give you sumthing to make the campaign worth replaying
-co-op SP (after playing the SP there are only a couple of points where you arent together with another squadmate and why cant one person simply play soap going through some other location(oh cos that would require work
-PB (was better than VAC since it insta kicked and we dont have a kick feature in game so we have to put up with the cheaters till ban day and then 2 days later there back)
also if we look at the trend in MW
MW1 campaign say 10 hours(catn remember exactly
MW2 vet took me under 6 hours including deaths
MW3 is gonna be like 3 hours long if the trend continues
MW2 was decent but it only deserves a 6-7/10 it was overhyped and has become more of a ridiculous arcade shooter instead of what made mw good
PC gamers could easily justify another 1-2 points off that based on servers/ no mods
Well i can see the comparison between both those game franchises. They have both been around for quite long and experimented and brought new stuff to the geanre. But after a while it just stops and it gets into a reproduction of the same game with different setting and plot but adds nothing new only improves on existing stuff.
The single player of both the latest Halo game and MW2 is short theres no denying that it is. It got its moments but TBH we have already seen all this before. Theres nothing new in this side of the game. The multiplayer i havent tried in the latest Halo game but in MW2 its just a copy of MW1 and fixing its flaws.
In short yes they are good games, bland but good. As said above it would get a 6-7 for single player and 8-9 for multiplayer (MW2 that is not the halo 1 wich i havent tried out and never will because its on xbox)

Was I the only one who was thoroughly unimpressed by COD: MW, parte the first? I played 30 minutes, got bored, then played Starcraft for a few more hours before driving back to blockbuster and returning MW.
It wasn't a bad game, it just failed to hold my interest in the slightest. And I had big hopes for it, too!
And so yeah, I do make jokes about MW2, despite having never owned or played it. The same way I'll make jokes about Tak and the Power of Juju 2.

I've never liked Halo after all my encounters at friends houses playing it.
However, I has not dabbled in the substance known as 'Call of Duty' until recently. I went into it expecting some terribly hideous game, but I was met with a bland/decent game. I don't understand the hate or the love.
Either way, the story was messed up, man.

Farcry 2 was good for a while, but it got stale and frustrating. I did enjoy the level creator thingy, i spent hours in that.JimmyBassatti said:
