My god its full of win. Tell me who didn't try the jump scrolls when the dude first crashed out of sky in front of you?
Heck yeah, I did. Ended up on the wrong side of he ghost wall on my first jump, too. I somehow survived the landing, but not the horde of ash vamps and cliff racers.

*shakes in fury*

My god, I hate cliff racers...

That looks amazing, and it's Morrowind.
This is one of the times when I wish my PC wasn't very cheaply made.

Wanted to download this, but the torrent didn't find the tracker. Am I the only one with that problem right now? 'cause my internet is pretty stupid sometimes.
So I am downloading it from one of the other sources, but I'd much rather download the torrent. Would take faster, and would be easier in case my internet cuts out.

Morrowind is one of those games that when you get in for the first time, you actually thought you were in a complete different world, and with all the things that made this game great, there's was an infinite amount of FUN & Replayability, among other characteristics.

Those "factors" should serve as an example to all gaming companies.

ps: they could have used the graphical improvement mod with Better Faces and Better Bodies mods...

Oh man, just hearing that music... Don't care about any of the mods really, just want to play it again 'cause of the music. I hope Skyrim can deliver the same atmosphere.

I didn't even watch the video. The moment I saw the title I downloaded the mod compendium, installed it very carefully, and my God i was not prepared when I left the boat... So much polish...

"PHEW!" and "AWWW..." at the same time for me.

I was hoping for an entirely new game I suppose. Good to know the entire month I spent modding Morrowind didn't go to waste, but now people can do it in just a few days.

I guess this is good news for everyone but people like me who painfully added and tested hundreds of mods until the game was perfect. I think my mods hold well to his, but mine has better sounds and a phew new graphics, but that water and sky is just amazing!

Wish I waited a few months to start modding... at least I can recommend this to subscribers who ask how to make Morrowind look as good as in my Let's Plays. Sweet deal :)

Yes, this is what is keeping me from just scrapping the modded game I made, but that should be a simple fix I guess, just install it myself.

I feel there must be a reason it was left out, which is unfortunate.

I love morrowind, From it's skill set down to it's painstakingly transcripted lore. I used to spend hours in the book shops just reading the books and and soaking up the world. Travel out to the far reaches and just wander dungeon crawl and collect stuff. I still play it to this day graphics have never mattered to me... until now.

I just finished the main quest again and i might have to start a new game with these mods just to re-explore and revisit and see all the new stuff. I thought some of the stuff in the game was pretty before (the rolling hills of the grazelands, the dust blighted red mountain, the errie silence of the north wasteland, the swamp-forests of the bitter coast) But this... This just adds a whole new thing.

It'll be weird though, My wife will see this and start in on me for buying a new game and spending money. I'll have to explain it's free...

I am so tempted to dig out my copy of morrowind and try it again. I loved that game.

Umm... from what I can remember of the Better Bodies and Faces mods, it clearly is using both in that video.

That's right, it's been nine freakin' years, and while the game was sweet eye candy back in the day, time stands still for no game and it looks pretty dated by today's standards.
Please tell me that was a joke? Even back then the graphics were weak and outdated. The game played saved this game. It was awesome... but looked like shit.

Also, one more thing for those of you who bought Morrowind off Steam, or are about to, I strongly recommend against buying it off Steam. To mod the Steam Version, you'll need to go deep into the game's files, and change up the dates of many of the files. Otherwise the mods will not work. Its still possible to mod it, but its a massive pain in the ass to do so. Again, this is for the Steam version only. Any other version should be just fine.
Should ask Valve to prepare a special install that puts all the Morrowind 2011 files in place. That would remove the configuration challenge and make it more accessible to casual gamers that would *love* this classic.

Reminds me strangely of STALKER, great environments but blocky characters.

Thats not to say this isn't amazing, I may just have to replay Morrowind now...
Speaking of STALKER.. This exact same type project is going on as well.

A complete make-over for STALKER:SoC, CS, and CoP.

I've seen those before, they look pretty sweet. Unfortunately I finished SoC right before hearing about the mod, and I was planning on taking a break from the Russian accents.

CS is on my to-play list and I plan on using the Complete mod, largely because I hear its not very good without it.
