Back when Halo 3 was barely released and I went on Live, the tips you can read before a match starts said that firing a charged Plasma Pistol shot at a vehicle will produce a surprise.

So I tried it out with a friend on a custom game, and holy shit I was surprised.

did you know you can "De-Charge" your charged shot, Not firing it. Just release the fire trigger slowly.

+1 to bungie for putting that on the load screen.

From CS 1.3 to the current CS:S this tip has always been a real eye-opener. That's in-game of course though.
