That looks completely retarded. I am baffled. Why do people make movies like this in this day and age?

The premise of the original Red Dawn was extremely questionable to begin with and this one looks like they really had to shoehorn things to tell the same story.
I did notice that it seems to shift to heavy urban warfare rather than the forest partisan fighting of the original.

A Red Dawn remake with communist Chinese in place of communist Russians. The whole idea is a joke. I'm pretty sure were an invasion to ever happen the number of armed civilians in the north west alone would ruin their plans. (and yes, I need full auto for duck hunting)

Which, if recent history is to be believed, is not that much of an advantage. Just look at guerrilla warfare. A handful of dedicated citizens can make all the difference, no matter what their equipment is. A bullet from an AK-47 will kill someone just as much a bullet from an M4 carbine.Cowabungaa said:
