Looks like the fighting engine is set up. They need Menus to stitch things together and probably need to develop AI (which is a pain in the neck) and other then that its mostly content development and micro-managing flow. It looks really good for what it is right now though.

Seriously, though, that animation is better than 80% of the Mugen characters out there (and at least 30% of the "professionally-created" fighting games I've seen). I really hope Hasbro doesn't Fox [http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=foxed] them for this.

I'm having fun picturing what their special moves would be. Like Dashs would be the sonic rainboom, and Twilight would have that move she did in the episode where she was trying out for the magic college, maybe Fluttershy would have that crazy ass staring shit - this game is going to kick ass. Oh and I concur with that dude in the youtube comments, this game definitely needs Action Hank in it.

I wonder what the story's going to be? I mean, they're going to have to stretch pretty far to justify "fighting" is magic.... the show teaches pretty much the opposite, right? I think it says a lot that people are already talking about what fatalities to use in the game....
