I have a lot of respect for Natalie Portman. She does what she does well, and can have a laugh about it at her own expence. Plus...she's hot.

But! This sounds like a great plot. I would probably see the movie anyway (I have been made VERY much aware of Eliza Bennet's story by my correspondents), but with her there, it's a guarantee. Congratulations, Natalie...you have just taken $10 of my poker money.

The book sounds just dumb. To turn it into a movie that just sounds worse.. I dont know I didnt hear about the book till just now so I am not in any real position to judge just meh..

As I loved the actual P&P and enjoy redeadifying dead things, I'm definitely going to watch this.
If Mr. Collins gets eaten, I will see it twenty times.
Mr. Collins killed by zombies would make my day, that guy was a dick.
I've had to study P&P for uni and I really want to read the zombie version now but being a student can't really afford books that aren't mandatory for the course =[

If they do this Tarentino-style I will be thrilled. The book was very well done and Natalie Portman is excellent in anything not written by George Lucas.

... I don't even like zombies or zombie movies, but applying this genre to English literature of the late 19th century? With Natalie Portman in a leading role? Now, that premise alone is just more win than the internet can handle.

This is going to be freaking awesome, I've got it running in my head right now, I only hope the real thing is just as good.

I read the book and found myself caring more about the original story than the zombie nightmare. Although the end of Wickham was fucking hilarious.
