There are no bomber planes in Uncharted!

There is a U-boat though... and a bad case of Tetanus if you are foolish enough to get it.
Pfft bomber planes should be in it!

Still I'll just grab whatever covers a massive areas with lots of bullets, because Aim I can't!
LOL good luck with that. You'll mostly attract large scale explosive devices that way.

*cough* New Final fantasy. Use more discs much? also...

WHO CAREEESS?!?!?!? Now Uncharted is hardly AAA its more... A if that...

Tis it just me or did he just get a couple of £££ in the bank for that?
What a surprise, you both own a 360.

Who cares? Let's see...people who own a PS3 possibly? Which is a mere 23.32million people.

Hardly AAA?
Considering the first has an Metacritic score of 88, and it's from an acclaimed publisher, and has top-notch graphics as well as a high production values, how is it not AAA?

What is a AAA title?
There is a debate that takes into considering several aspects that AAA titles should have. Some of the most common qualities that AAA titles should have (according to some experts) are:
- High-quality (Check)
- Broad market (Check)
- High sales (N/A)
- Large teams (Check)
- Big budget (Check)
- Polished audio-visual direction (Check)
- Perfect technical and artistic execution (N/A)
- Playable & fully enjoyable within the first five minutes of play (N/A)
- Exhaustively tested (Check)
- Bug free (N/A)
- Great usability (N/A)
- Continous, balanced entertainment from beginning to end (N/A)
- Great graphical user interface (Check)
- First place in the markets, and great marketing (N/A)
- Hype (Check)

Considering what you can tell of a game before release, it seems to be on it's way to becoming a AAA title.
Now next time you decide to post fanboy drivel, stop, take a breath, and back away from the keyboard. There was none of this bullsh*t MS/Sony rivalry last generation, and there needs not be this generation.
End of the day, PS3 has a bluray player and permanent HDD, which is going to have it's advantages. Don't complain when this is said, it's just stating a fact.
It's a sad comment seeing so many 360 owners bitching about this. Ask yourselves why. Your life won't be any better by having a stab at a console. It's just f**king bizarre.
In fact I own both kind Mr.fanboy sir. My point is, It isn't IMPOSSIBLE just awkward and picky and sounds far to much like he is being paid to say that. And I didn't like the first one, it was a good game but not AAA to me, it seems daft that something gets so very much publicity when it wasn't a magnificence masterpiece it is totted of to be, I think you find that I'm the same way with Halo; Good game, not brilliant. Maybe great for the multi-player. COD myself I dislike the multi player is a bit... Meh to me. I prefer Battlefield: Bad company for the Consoles (Xbox360 preferably just find the controller all round better also it tends to be cheaper so I got that, is it even on the PS3 I never looked?). And as for you. Ask yourself why? Your life wont be any better on that high horse of assumptions your currently sitting on, so get of, calm down. As for the other person who you quoted: maybe he doesn't actually care, maybe he was cut up about not getting Killzone 2 which admittedly was the reason I got a PS3 along side Infamous, Heavy rain, and Alan Wake (I think that's the one). So the next time you decide to post drivel assuming my intentions; cut down on the profanity it makes your point null and void. Even if you were correct.

As a final note: AAA to me is one which has been around for a while, (hopefully but usually isn't) an Original IP. Something which is released on all consoles (if at all possible without MS Song and Nintendo all crying about it.) And most of all appeals to me. Uncharted, does not appeal to me, I can see why people would, in fact I know 5 people ho wont shut-up about it. AAA to me is different per individual. And before I get a comment saying "Blah blah its defined as: blah blah". With something that is a made up term you can change what it means to each individual. If you have a problem with this then; Uncharted is hardly a game that is AAA to me. As for "Who cares" I am speaking of the people who own a 360 who might be disheartened. If any PS3 owner cases that it's impossible for the 360 really that's a bit elitism which the 26million-ish people you pointed out, I doubt any of them care it's exclusive, which was the point I was saying who cares to.. People with 360's very rarely get miffed at uncharted being an exclusive, they got miffed about Killzone and Infamous, but prototype is better I think so anyway. Now thank you for helping me kill a few minutes while I wait for Chloé to wake up and even worse... do her hair

Well, if you don't care about a game, why post in a thread about it?
Would you do that with other threads?
Doubt so...It seems to only be with gaming threads, where one title makes a claim and then people start screaming.
You are allowed to have your own idea of what a AAA title is, but saying it needs to be well established (the game, not developers) and multi-platform , vastly differs from what the media, and a lot of other people, dub what a AAA game is.
Plus, it's far too personal/flat-out wrong saying a game is only AAA if it appeals to you. As AAA is a term given to a game, not a personal opinion of a game, it shouldn't be constrained by your likes and dislikes of a game.
It's the same as saying the Mercedes McLaren isn't a super-car because I don't care about it. It's a super car regardless of personal opinion.
BF:BC is on PS3, Alan Wake however isn't, so lucky you got yourself a 360 to hand to play it when it's released =p.
The Merc McLaren is a hyper-car... Sorry being pedantic, well my girlfriend bailed on me... again. It's complicated... Hehe I look pathetic. Well anyway, *tips hat* G'day.

I can make a very convincing case that Uncharted Drakes fortune should not be considered an AAA title nor even should it be considered an A title if only going by it's 88% Score on metacritic. Even if you don't factor in how Exclusives generally get better review due to fanboy pandering, U:DF did not even break into the 90% score, by simple grading standards that is a B (C = +70%, B = +80%, A = +90%)

AAA is an arbitrary score for what IS an A title that is both in the top 10 of the score ranking as well as in the top 10 sale of that year/quarter but most importantly it has to also have a significant fan following as shown in mods, user generated content, multiplayer, or total achievements earned or whatever.

But U:DF is a B+ title if anything, which is adequate and shows room for improvement but is far from AAA. It has been "sexed up" as a AAA title as you could reasonably say it should be highly lauded but the point is outside of Official Sony Publications and the webpages of committed Sony fanboys it is treated much the same as Prince of Persia or Red Faction Guerilla.

Then there are the sales, guess what kind of games have outsold this? For one there is Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 for Xbox 360 outsold this significantly in the first year and I don't even remember there being much fanfare about that game at all. Even bore-tastic Halo Wars (comparing total sales from launch) has outsold Uncharted so far.

Then you cite things like "broad market". Well by the fact that U:DF is PS3 exclusive rather than multiplatform instantly limits it to a smaller market (24 millions is not a lot in the grand scheme of things) and the gameplay is not that significant considering the glut of mediocre cover based shooters there are out there you can hardly cite that as contributing to it's supposed AAA title.

Then things like
- Large teams (Check)
- Big budget (Check)
- Polished audio-visual direction (Check)
and
- Exhaustively tested (Check)

Excuse me, but all that is expected of any respectable game that comes out today, doing all this doesn't earn you AAA, it only prevents you getting an F grade. An the hype factor is not hard to generate considering the vast expectation there is of the PS3, Sony have promised huge performance on their consoles yet actual demonstration of that is few and far between.

By the way, are you still having a hissy fit and refusing to reply to me just because I won't show you those pictures you are so DESPERATE to see? It's crazy, when I was much younger I was warned about obsessive strange men demanding me to take certain pictures and post them on the internet, I thought they were warning me about paedos, I didn't know the same applied to conspiratorial fanboys as well.
