Too bad these "predictions" were written down by monks after the events actually happened. Monks were the select few for hundreds of years that were learned scholars so they were in charge of making duplicates of the bible. So it stands to reason that certain aspects of these stories changed to suit the needs and agendas of the religious leaders of the time.
