Any doubts I had about this video have been completely forgotten. My biggest worry was the animation (animation in previous games was terrible), but it shows off amazing improvement.
Thoughts?

I want this game. Dynamic events like those dragon fights are the future of rpgs imo and I think this looks awesome.

Arglbarglwargl! This is gonna be awesome! I was afraid that dragon battle would be scripted/qte's, but seeing it in action is a huge relief. Also: did I see the option to talk with the Giants pop up?

"Being lead to your execution"... sounds familiar... (not in a bad way!)

Also: fighting a dragon at the top of a tower with lighting: I'm getting Unending Stairs/Zirkzigil flashbacks...

I'm not feeling it. Graphics look pretty mediocre, and the combat is much too clunky-looking. Not to mention Bethesda has a terrible repuation for writing, so this is probably going to have a very poor story.

Have you played Morrowind, because that game has an amazing story and writing. Sure Oblivion's wasn't great, but Bethesda can deliver.

OT: The gameplay was awesome, I've waited so long and it definitely didn't disappoint.

Especially the dragon!

Not just any dragon. An unscripted dragon! Once I heard unscripted dragons and saw how quickly you could swap out weapons for spells I became ecstatic. I loved my Battlemage in Oblivion and now he's got some dragons to kill!

Definitely a day one purchase.

So glad I have this pre-ordered, I can't wait to see what wonders it holds when the game finally come out. I already know that it'll be my game of the year, as well as many other peoples. The creatures and environments look amazing.

It's a struggle to keep my excitement in. I'm going to have to play Oblivion now.
