Wow, you seem pretty bitter about this. Speaking as a 360 player, I've clocked up about 50 hours, and have had one major bug hit me - the game became intensely choppy and laggy, meaning I moved in small spurts, but stopped after about 30 seconds when I discovered a new location. I don't include crashes (which have happened twice) because I used to play games on PC as a kid so I'm relieved when crashes are only occasional. You know what all of this makes me feel?Poisoned Al said:Well for a game designed for a 360 it looks and runs like shit. Have fun playing the shite version designed JUST for YOU.
Impressed.
Consider the size of Skyrim. Not just geographical size, but the amount of characters, quests, items, creatures, dungeons, options, the sheer overall hugeness of it. The fact that in something that enormous relatively few bugs have turned up is genuinely impressive. I don't get why so many people cry and cry about "modern games" and the lack of comprehensive bugtesting when the epic amount of things to test means that there will always, always be things that slip through the net. The game looks great, it plays great, and if I get the occasional crash then I accept that as part of the price I pay for such excellent entertainment.
Oh, and I barely had a problem with the 360 New Vegas either, for what it's worth. Another game that was so much fun I could overlook flaws when they did occur.
