Wow. I didn't know Nintendo employee's were made up of youtube commenters. Now that's how the Mario games are all the same, they're too busy on youtube!

See, I would agree that Nintendo are awesome for not having the Mario theme related to Justin Bieber, but then I remembered this:

We love you Nintendo.
I saw your avatar and had to say that I love it.

OT: What the hell could they use it for? There is no real reason to use it in the movie and thats why they are saying NO. If there was a legit reason to have it in there then it would most likely be allowed.

I love it. Nintendo's new slogan: "we may market to kids at times, but at least we're not idiotic Justin Bieber fans!"

Justin Bieber: Never Say Never hits theaters on February 11. Don't miss it!
I'm contemplating what horrendous torture I should inflict upon you for typing out that sentence.
Now now, if you were feeling particularly masochistic and drunk, it could be fun to make fun of. Of course, they missed an excellent opportunity by not hiring Tommy Wiseau to write and direct it...

"aw C'mon Nintendo! Y won't u let us use the Mario theme for 15 secs in the @Justinbieber movie," director Jon M. Chu wrote on Twitter [http://twitter.com/jonmchu/status/26408114655858688]. "talk about free advertising passed up. Oops"
... seriously? What is the director, 14?
No, a ten year old can do MUCH better than that.

I love how he used "y" instead of "why" but still capitalized it since it was the beginning of a sentence, as if that particular facet of grammar is important.
He seems to be tossing around grammatical correctness at random; The "aw" in the first sentence isn't capitalized but "C'mon" is, And none of the other sentences (except for "Oops!") are. Plus, while "Justin" is capitalized, "bieber" is not.

Also, there's a clear reason why this wasn't allowed and Scott Pilgrim was; because Scott Pilgrim is targeted towards Nintendo's audience, and has direct correlation to their product. People going into it will be thinking "videogames," so thus, with a bit of support, people coming out will be thinking "Zelda." At least in theory. Here, however, people will be coming in thinking "music" and, regardless of anything, will come out thinking "music." Nintendo does not do music, thus it's a waste of a license, and possibly a devaluing of property.

Tommy's too busy sueing people for all those "Room" parodies of him to even bother making anything uniterestingly new.

Normally, Nintendo being jerks about their IPs ticks me off, but since I hate Beeb more, I fully support this. I suppose the Nintendo Nay-sayers will be a bit pleased with this too (unless this news made them nay-sayers, in which case, their idiots).

I'm really bothered by the title of the movie.

It's like, Beiber is going "If anyone tells you you can't do something, Never say Never!"

Nobody said you couldn't do anything, ya little pipsqueak!

GURH. Stupid Disny-fication...

Missing free advertising? They're fucking NINTENDO! They have been around for several decades. The last thing they need is to tarnish their good reputation with that little piss-stain singer.

Nintendo isn't a prepubescent girl, so this makes sense.

And they're actually calling it "Never Say Never"? You know, normally I'd be shocked that someone could make such a stupid decision, but since this involves Justin Bieber, I'm really not.
