I say good for nintendo. The Scott pilgrim movie was a gaming movie, nintendo makes perfect sense. In a movie about some kid who rose to fame as a pop star and will likely die out when he hits puberty, it's just plain out insulting for nintendo. >.>

a.) Does Nintendo need advertising?

c.) "aw C'mon Nintendo! Y won't u let us use the Mario theme for 15 secs in the @Justinbieber movie," Really? That's not how you ask for things like rights to sound bits. On Twitter? Y, u? If I was Nintendo, I'd try to stay away from that too.

No, a ten year old can do MUCH better than that.

I love how he used "y" instead of "why" but still capitalized it since it was the beginning of a sentence, as if that particular facet of grammar is important.

He seems to be tossing around grammatical correctness at random; The "aw" in the first sentence isn't capitalized but "C'mon" is, And none of the other sentences (except for "Oops!") are. Plus, while "Justin" is capitalized, "bieber" is not.

Also, there's a clear reason why this wasn't allowed and Scott Pilgrim was; because Scott Pilgrim is targeted towards Nintendo's audience, and has direct correlation to their product. People going into it will be thinking "videogames," so thus, with a bit of support, people coming out will be thinking "Zelda." At least in theory. Here, however, people will be coming in thinking "music" and, regardless of anything, will come out thinking "music." Nintendo does not do music, thus it's a waste of a license, and possibly a devaluing of property.
