I personally think shaving your hair off only works for certain people... most look better with a nice medium-length cut.

I personally could never be bald.

I'll always keep my hair at its long and curly state.

I just look weird with short hair.

I was recently doing some personal grooming (touching up sideburns) and I accidently shaved a jagged line across my head. It looked really weird, and my attempts to fix it looked worse. So I now think I'll have to shave my head. I've never done it before, so I'm a little hesitant about it, but I feel it's the only way. I can't pull off, nor do I wish to Mohawks or any other "punk" look.

What about a fauxhawk [http://www.google.nl/images?hl=nl&q=fauxhawk&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1680&bih=869]? Not exactly punk, and could work.

I've had really really short hair before (and I'm a girl).It was cute and it's kind of fun to have a short do.
