Or in WoW if the enemy arena team has a death knight. I play priest you see and watching a priest try to escape a death knight is like watching a baby seal try to escape a shark that hasn't eaten in a week.

EDIT: Tonight I came up against Death Knight Warlock Resto Shaman.

That is the worst thing ever. DoTs everywhere, everyone is low on HP and I can't heal because there is a death knight riding my ass. I can't even fear to peel for myself because guess what? The shaman has tremor totem to break it, and thats not all, he can chuck a hex on me which renders me useless but still allows me to take damage.

How in the name of god I'm supposed to heal through that I don't know.

Politoed in competitive Pokemon.

90% of teams that run Politoed just go ahead and spam the biggest attackers in the game. Which then leads to everyone else picking out 6 counters to those guys and calling it a day. And the next thing you know, everyone has one of two freaking teams, and every match is exactly the same as one of the two before it.

I hate Politoed.

The reason I use him (in WT and singleplayer, mind you) is for the neverending water we brings, then you switch into a now invincible Kingdra or something and just have a day. For the most part, stuff like this is why Smogon bans what it does and keeps it more fun so you can't just screw people over because you had a bad day or something.

Dude is overpowered to the point that you can't do anything unless you're lucky enough to choose a champ that counters him.

Yeah, that's why Aatrox is never picked in a serious match and Jayce is always either banned or picked on a high level. Jayce's high mana costs are overcome by Tear/Manamune/Muramana, which is what every Jayce ever builds and has an easy time charging it. On the other hand, Aatrox is a noob stomper - strong against low level players, but useless against any good player...

This by a lot. Jayce is so versatile and can instakill your AD carry while still being quite tanky. Plus, he has the longest ranged poke in the game (not 100% on this but I'm pretty sure he beats out Xerath -haven't played him in such a long time so I don't remember).
Switching away from Summoner's Rift, whenever I play ARAM and the enemy has a Blitzcrank, my usual reaction is: welp, we have most likely lost this. There is almost always someone who can't dodge or bait the grabs and ends up losing a late game teamfight for us that allows the enemies to come and stomp our base.

Also Cho'Gath on LOL. I can kill him easily as Thresh but when I play my other main Aatrox he always seems to slip away from me, after doing the annoying spike floor power.

Really ? Does that also apply to any pokemon that summons an weather affect when they come into play ( like tyrannitar and abomasnow?).

Blitz/MF bottom lane. I normally main either Wukong or Nocturne. So when people say "Hey, go Bot, and i see that the enemy team has a Blitz/MF combo, i'm fairly certain we've lost. Plus most times I play i get stuck with a ranged AD Carry like Draven. Who doesn't realize that Ever Blitz player camps the bush on bot. EVERY. SINGLE. BLITZ. So he face checks, gets grabbed and MF gets a free first blood. So now instead of going for assassin build, i have to Off tank, and build heavy Defense, which works into Wukong's move set and passive (gets Armor and MR for each enemy champion on him). HOWEVER. Once MF gets first blood, they almost always buy a BF Sword and start picking on Draven. I'll swoop in and ult to buy him time to leave and stop feeding, and god forbid i pick up a kill they spam my chat with "KSKSKSKSGO FK YRSelf Noobkong"

When i play Nocturne, if i can get some safe farm, i can usually shut down a blitzcrank with my ult/w/e combo. But most people Jungle with Nocturne, i use him in lane to bully. He's a good jungler, don't get me wrong, but his lane presence is so much more fun. A shield that disables ranged pokes? Check. A ranged DoT that turns into a stun if you stay in range? Check. A ranged harass that allows you to chase people down to use afforementioned DoT? Checkity Check. An ult that blinds enemy champions and allows you leap halfway across the map to slam into them for huge damage? Check. Let me get lifesteal and a frozen heart/Mallet and you aren't getting away anytime soon.

Other than that?

Scorpion spammers in MK9. Seriously, if you do that spear/teleport nonsense, and i block it and full combo punish you the first time, DO. NOT. KEEP. DOING. IT. It'll only get worse. Also stop bitching when i counter pick your fail ass with Baraka. Yeah, bring me in close. I LIKE IT THAT WAY!

No, I haven't. I rarely damage him enough for him to use his ultra, he never uses the super in combat (he always uses it on EX Spinning Pile Drivers), and I can't try it myself because Zangief's super/ultra combo is the only one that's physically impossible to do on a keyboard.

It's a shame, because in theory, Zangief should be my favorite character. But he's just SO EVIL.

You should try approaching him as Adon. Your main tools to get in are a fast walk speed, which is obviously risky against 'Gief, and Jaguar Kick. Which is -1 on block.

I'm going to also say M. Bison (Dictator). I just... don't get him. I have no idea how to fight him at all! Even the worst players stomp me! >.<

I was thinking the other day in competitive games there are always characters or sides that you hate to face more than any other either because they are your bane or you just hate them for some reason so what are yours?

My one is probably Mitsurugi in the Soul Calibur series I can beat him with my main but otherwise he gives me so much trouble the dude just seems to have it all strength speed and technique and it gives me more headaches than any other character.

The Star Wars characters in Soul Calibur IV. When playing offline (never played online). Seriously, that overpowered Apprentice literally means I never want to play the game now. You HAVE to fight him on arcade mode (the only mode I ever care about in a fighting game), and he's always waaay too hard, and he's got NOTHING to do with the series.

Whoever chose to have those characters in SCIV deserves to have a sledgehammer to their face.

Not as much. Sandstorms and snowstorms don't increase damage for any moves (except Blizzard, which just gets more accurate). Rain's boosting of Water moves and doubled speed for Swift Swimmers means you're essentially getting a few free boosting moves. Stack on a offensive berry or some other boosting move (Dragon Dance comes to mind) and it makes a Pokemon like Kingdra perfectly capable of wrecking entire teams without trouble.

He has an unblockable hammer throw that takes away about 20% of your health, he is armoured on EVERY SINGLE ATTACK, takes only half damage, deals double damage, has a super move that does about 65% damage, and taunts you roughly every five seconds. (In one game he also heals from taunting too). I have to fight him in tag matches with nooB saiboT for fear of going insane from rage.

It's a shame, because in theory, Zangief should be my favorite character. But he's just SO EVIL.

He literally makes me feel ill when I am going against him. All the advice I can give is go for the missiles Hadouken spamming with Ryu works well, also heavy jump kicks as unless Gief grabs you he has few anti airs.

As said by a Meepo player. I think that's why I fear any hard carry except for AM, funnily enough. List time!

- Drow, because FUCK her passive ulti, which allows her to murder via right clicks or orb walking. YES, THE DAMAGE WORKS ON HER ICE ARROWS.
- Viper, because FUCK his ulti and his passives, which are all poison based, which seems to be stupidly overpowered at this point.
- Faceless Void, because FUCK the ulti that can solo teams. Double fuck if Void has a Refresher and Aghanim's.
- MOTHERFUCKING EARTHSHAKER, because dude loves to fuck my day as Meepo BY TRIPLING HIS DAMAGE and having a passive which works better when up against groups.
- Alchemist, because FUCK Goblin's Greed, which allows a stream of steady gold to turn around a loss into a victory.
- Phantom Assassin because FUCK passive ulti and 6 second ranged teleport paired with Monkey King Bar. Gahhhhh!
- Lone Druid, because FUCK the bear, which will fuck you up in teamfights. Good Druids will also stockpile Agility items on the Druid, which equals 70% physical damage resistance on a fully farmed Druid. That's not even counting Radiance and the bear's other items.
- Morphling, because FUCK his ulti, which allows him to fountain rotate really easily. And you have my condolences if an enemy Morphling has an Ethereal AND a Butterfly. Dude hits for 300 base with full Agility.
- Magnus, because FUCK Reverse Polarity. 'Nuff said.
- Meepo, because FUCK 1400 AoE damage with a slow. Dude's hilariously broken with a Blink Dagger after that, but pity that everyone and their dog knows how to counter Meepo. He also makes a hilariously fast lane pusher, which can screw over PL big time.

Funny thing is, I love all of those guys when I'm playing them, but when I'm up against them, futility sets in unless I'm Meepo and have decided to rush my 3 Hearts. =P
