I forgot the name of a game I played on the (first) Xbox even though I really enjoyed it. The game was unusual It was part RPG, part strategy and part 3rd person action game. It was a usual dark fantasy setting and told the same story from the perspective of several factions. Each faction had its own campaign, each was unique so no copy pasted missions or anything except for a few crossover points.

Gameplay wise you took command of an army, you had your overall leader and his subordinates. You earned XP in battles which you used to customize their skill sets and buy new equipment. When in a battle the leader and subordinates took charge of some units, you could either give them orders or jump in at any time and take control over the leader unit and fight like an action game whilst being supported by the rest of the unit. Other specialized units like siege units you could only give orders or watch directly from a 3rd person camera. Most of the game you would be hopping between your leader units, taking control over them at critical points made a lot of difference. This was handy for the non controllable units too, you could see clearly what was going on.

The story was about good army fights evil army, then a terrible new threat appears (some sort of floating asteroid of doom). Only the bad army is in a position to stop the end of the world by resurrecting a dead dragon, the dragon skeleton helps them fight back. This is a bit of an over simplification because the story wasn't too bad.

Does anyone know what game this was?

hey guys i had this game around 2000 on pc. It was a strategy game (real-time i think). It was kind of similar to Age of Empires and such games where you build stuff and defenses except that it wasn't on the ground. You could view your city from above. You had to create a city above the clouds and the technology looked kind of mythological and like it was designed by Leonardo daVinci. You could build islands on the clouds to support your structures, catapults and roads which would allow for collection of resources. I can vaguely remember the goal was to defend a temple or something and you would lose if it was destroyed. I remember playing it a lot and it had a cd. I don't have anything else to go on and ive searched so much to no avail. any guesses? thanks

This sounds very much like Netstorm
It also appears they're making a full 3D remake called RisingStorm - http://www.risingstormhq.com

Here is one:

Old 90s PC game (only platform that I'm aware of), third person, two people could play at once as these two blonde hair dudes dressed in blue who walk through warehouse type levels killing enemies with different weapons (lead pipes, guns, bigger guns, etc.), and after each level you could upgrade your weapons. I know it's not much to go on, but if anybody has any ideas, they would be much appreciated.

Alright, I've got 2 games:

First game:
I believe it was a Playstation one game although it may have been PC. It was an RPG, real time, 3d, and I believe it was first person. You start off on a pier that is somewhat broken that leads to an island. I recall fighting a giant squid boss that was against a wall, and being able to loot barrels. That's about all I can remember.

Second game:
Old game, probably for DOS, early 90's. It was an Isometric puzzle game where you could pick up and move ladders. I believe you played as a wizard.

I'm looking for a game I played it in the 90's/early 2000's and it was a 4 player game, that had characters with magic powers (as I recall)
I also remember a boss level where you had to destroy a spider, and it was a surrounded by spiderwebs and I can't remember what console it was on. Lack of details sorry, but it's all I remember. It was also a rpg, and in 3d

Okay I got 2 games:

Both I believe are for the ps1-ps2. very late 90's to early 2000's. First is where you race RC toy cars. The intro or story consists of you, a little boy, playing with his pet frog. The frog croaks "help me" as a bully who takes ur pet says in order to get ur frog back you must play his game. Then it shows some other kid getting thrown into a garbage can. He had a war helmet on and glasses.

Second one: Another racing game, same time period, and system. All i remember from this one was were you can play against each other and one of the maps was a island, and you both had cars of your choosing from scrolling on a list. The cars looked futuristic, and it was mainly to battle each other. You could get powerups such as shield, lasers, thrusters, and rockets to shoot. When you played there was electronic music playing. Sounding near to dubstep. That's all i remember from both.

Gauntlet Legends? Usually found in arcades. And ps2 also. Each player was a color. Had different characters with diff abilities. You get to certain diff realms or worlds.

I remember a lot of games and know how precious it feels to find a nostalgic game and then play it or even finish if you haven't when you were a kid. I'm happy for everyone who found their games :)

For me, i found most of my old games and am good with nostalgic ones. If anyone still haven't found their game yet, i'll be happy to look up and find. For me there are three games that i haven't been able to find or remember the name of. First will be most important, last will be least :p They are all between 1990s-2000s

-This game i was playing was a demo version of the game. The game is an adventure in 3D, like an RPG and you're playing a guy who enters into a mansion hall, you can control him, use kick, punch with keyboard. There is a statue which's head is missing, you can go through the spiral stairs on sides or enter through door. When you enter, you get into a theatre like stage and there is a ghost-like villian who has magic powers, has your girl and by sabotaging your girl,(she's tied to a circus target) tricks you into a hole. You get don to the basement, look around, then fight with retarded zombies and use bane's to make a melody, move them. They're stuck to the ground. There is a screen you can watcch your gf being thrown knife at. When you do the correct melody, you go through a magical portal gate and return back to hall of mansion. Demo ends.

-In this second game you were playing a police and i'm sure it was pretty famous as well. It's in 3d and you're playing a police girl. Who is somewhat a detecctive, the story takes place in a post-modern city where you have flying cars. You go through some drawers at a hotel and try to find about your partner's crime or something? I guess.

-This is the last game and it's a game for kids. You have a little green alien friend who goes through the mansion with you and you solve puzzles together, switch bilards and light up lamps.

I hope i was able to give enough detail about the first one, the other two doesn't matter so much :) Thank you for reading my reply,
Have peaceful and pleasant days.

Ok, maybe you can help me.
I am searching for a really old action RPG, similar to Diablo. I can only remember a few things. In the opening sequence somebody puts a big egg infront of somebody's door, during the night. I think in the end of the sequence the house got burned down, but I'm not entirely sure. The one thing I can perfectly remember, is the world map. You were able to travel from one place to another by clicking on it. After that, footprints appeared on the map, to show where your character is going. Sometimes your character got attacked during travel and the game switched to the normal gamemode again. You were then able to fight the attackers by using a fighting system, similar to Diablo. You were also able to get followers who helped you fighting. There was also a mission where you had to place soldiers in a village to protect it from an enemy attack. You had to do this on a seperate minimap which appeared when you started the mission. The last thing I remember is that you started the game in a tower or a castle.

I hope you can help me, finding this game.
Thank you in advance,

Fuffy

The game is called Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders

The game had an interesting sound track.

Is that a Korean thing? Putting heavy metal music in western style fantasy games?

This game is also backwards compatible with the 360.

Thats the game, I have never played another game like that before or since. The soundtrack never stuck in my mind though, the gameplay was the thing that grabbed me.

It is an internet game and you were a person made out of blue blocks. And there was a block person at the end that you had to restart. The name of the game i think was two words that were not that long. I think it was about a small person made out of yellow blocks had somehow made another block person (the one that you had to restart) crash their car. It was quite strange. I also remember how there was a notepad and part of it was ripped of so u got the pen and scribbled on it so it showed what was written on the ripped off piece. Also when u were in the kitchen you had to hide behind an open door. I know the facts sound strange but I really want to find it!!! Thanks!!

People have already suggested Gauntlet Legends. It could also be Gauntlet: Dark Legacy (which is the PS2 version of Legends) or one of the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance games, which ran on the same engine and I'm pretty sure involved spiders.

Edit: Looks like there's yet another game that runs on the engine, Everquest: Champions of Norrath.

Okay, I've been trying to find the names of these two games for at least 12 years, maybe 15. They are both PC games, both from the late 80's/early 90's. Here goes:

1)The first game involves you being a caveman that looks like the one from Prehistorik, but with large eyes and a little more cartoon-y looking. It was top-down view and I think 32-bit. Whenever he would lose a life, his limbs and head would separate from his body but still attached with springs and he would scream idiotically. No blood, no gore. You would go around and try to destroy/avoid various enemies in 5 different worlds, each of which was themed and had multiple levels. There was a futuristic world, a toy/candy world and a dinosaur world; I can't remember what the other two looked like. When you completed a world you would go back to this screen that looked like toy shelves with other world options on it that you'd select with the arrow keys and then press enter or something. I'm pretty sure he used a club to beat his enemies, but it may have been something else. Pretty sure all of the control were keyboard based.

And finally...

2)This one may have been older, I remember everything was pixellated, like 16-bit. It was first person perspective, trapped in a maze-like dungeon where the monsters would get stronger as you progressed through the levels. I'm pretty sure this one was also keyboard controlled, but I could be wrong. I remember there being a lot of goofy decorations on the brick maze walls. There may have been a projectile weapon to kill the monsters, but I'm pretty sure you had a sword or something, too. I distinctly remember there being a door on the first level that you couldn't open unless you had a really high number of coins, and the one time I opened the door I went straight out the other side without seeing what was in it. The first monsters were small and easy like giant rats and spiders, but when you got to the fourth level there are these giant pinkish/flesh-colored monsters with green flat heads and red eyes that were humanoid in shape, and they stood from floor to ceiling. As you went through the maze you could open and close doors to different rooms which the weak monsters couldn't get through, but the big guy could. Level four was as far as I ever got.

That's pretty much all I can remember. Does anyone know the names of these games?
