One I can't for the life of me remember the name of. Playstation one. You are a little girl that gets hit by a truck in the intro, afterwards you have an arm growing out of your backpack and use it to tug on girls with no faces but gigantic boobs.

Hey I am also looking for a game I played in the 90s on PC. I remember nagging my teacher to let me play it during morning tea and lunch times in the classroom.

I remember a name along the lines of "The goobles (or goobies)"
it was a problem solving game where you had about 5-10 characters alive at one time and you would be given a problem to solve like fixing a bridge or a code to enter a tomb. If you got it wrong one of your characters died. if you got it right your characters would all walk off the screen as if heading to the next clue or problem.
you could create new characters through out the game and change their faces as well.
I have been trying to remember what this game is so that I could see what it was like but I need help.
Any Ideas????

Hey guys please know that I have searched for this game on google for many, many, years since I played it last. It definately had to be made before 2000, I'm thinking 1998 or around then. It came in one of those shareware/freeware (but mostly shareware and demos) compilations that are floating around from time to time. Well this particular game was a survival/rpg caveman (I think so?!) game. The "camera" was set so it sort of seemed like a side scroller and I believe the game was played in increments of days/time. I also think that you had to gather food and basically just see how long you could survive, a bit like Oregon Trail except you were one character. I remember you were only allowed so many days/time in the demo/shareware version that came with the compilation so I played that demo over and over doing a little better each time. There are so many posts in this thread that I fear I may miss a response to my post, just e-mail me at [email protected] if you have an idea, or here I will look through the posts as well as I possibly can. This was a big part of my childhood and looking to find at least some info about the game.

Also you may have been able to get more characters to join you, forming a party of sorts. This may be incorrect but I seem to remember this...

After searching about 30 pages of this thread for answers I found nothing and became jealous of all these people finding their games! So, I decided to post my memories.

All of the games I'm looking for were on PC. When I was 5-10 (1998 - 2003) My dad used to always get those collection discs with about 10-100 demos on them, and I'd play them all and loved them. I remember some of the names of them (the games but not the discs), but there's two that I can't find online.

1. It was a game you viewed from first person, and I remember it having good graphics, and it was mysterious. I'm pretty certain it was a point and click adventure viewed from first person. It had 3D graphics (definitely not cartoon), although the graphics only APPEARED 3D, it was probably just images, because I'm pretty sure it faded between images instead of you moving. I'm pretty sure it was modern, but it had a sort of fantasy feel to it. The ONLY gameplay I remember of it is sort of exploring down this path through what I remember as a forest, and going down this tunnel in a tree or hole or something, looking for clues. I've checked so many point and click adventures online and I can't find it (although I'm worried I won't even know it if I see it). It could have been Myst, but I don't remember any of the graphics by looking at videos of that game. Schizm doesn't look like it either, those two are similar to what I remember though.

2. Another first person point and click adventure, about a dog escaping his owner's room. I remember his owner leaving for the day and he leaves you at home (although that could be wrong), and you have to find a way to escape. I remember the name being "Dog's day out" because I remember thinking the name sounded much alike "Baby's day out". But after searching the title "Dog's day out" I've found nothing.

3. (Extra) I wonder if anyone knows the name of the demo discs I played if I give titles of demos on them, I had about 4 or 5 discs in total with about 20 demos on each :( so many games I don't know the names of. Warcraft II, Torruk II (I'm not entirely sure), DOOM, Diablo (All though I remember Diablo having cars in it.. lol), Lemmings Paintball (I'm not sure if this came from a demo disc but I played the game at the same time brackets), Jedi Knight, Jump 'n' Bump, Wheels, The Neverhood, Rayman.. Damn that's all I got.. I don't think all of the games were demos though, I just remember calling them demos.

Sorry for the massive post, and thank you for any help. I'll try to help out others.

Edit: I also very vaguely remember this other game, it was like a really weird game about a picnic, but you sortof blow up the picnic blanket with the food, and it turns into weird shapes.. It was very weird haha

I have a picture I drew from memory that should help with the description of a game name Im trying to remember:

http://s1144.photobucket.com/albums/o486/Deryl_Owens/?action=view&current=Frommemory-imageofgame.png

You take control of a random planet whichshifts to someone else in the group every few days and at the same time you gain control of someone elses random planet. (It was a bit of a social experiment to see how generous/selfish/balanced players might be in terms of the community/themselves/their planets.) I know either an energy or gas company had a hand in making it.

The game is played solely in 2 dimensions so your planet surface consists of a circle not a sphere.

You manage pollution, economy and player points. You use available currency, natural resources & technology research. Player points are added directly to your personal score. The higher your personal score the higher your ranking. If pollution gets too high you can lose any use of that planet for the remainder of your control time.

You can spend your currency on [industry buildings] (adds pollution) to gain alot of currency over time, [player points buildings] to gain player points (and thats it), Residential buildings to get a small amount of both (small pollution) and various other buildings for various other effects. You can also spend your currency on research to increase the options available to you and there are multiple tech trees to consider. You can also spend currency on trees to lower pollution.

I have given the best my google-fu has to offer to find the name of this game for myself and now turn to my fellow gamers for help.

The only game that comes close to what you are describing is a game called Sapiens that was released on the Atari ST.

Good luck finding it though this game is beyond obscure.

Does anybody know about a pc game from the late 90s, early 00s. Where you played as a human/humanoid with black hair and blue skin? I think at one point you could travel by riding a dragon, or in another level you could rid a mine cart. Anybody know what game I'm referring to? I think the main character had a girlfriend or sister too. It was NOT a FPS, I think the view of the game was like Baldurs Gate.

That sounds like Stretch Panic (or Freak Out depending on your geographic location).

In fact I'm almost certain it just from the boobs thing.....

and it was PS2 by the way, think it was really early in its cycle.

hey guys i had this game around 2000 on pc. It was a strategy game (real-time i think). It was kind of similar to Age of Empires and such games where you build stuff and defenses except that it wasn't on the ground. You could view your city from above. You had to create a city above the clouds and the technology looked kind of mythological and like it was designed by Leonardo daVinci. You could build islands on the clouds to support your structures, catapults and roads which would allow for collection of resources. I can vaguely remember the goal was to defend a temple or something and you would lose if it was destroyed. I remember playing it a lot and it had a cd. I don't have anything else to go on and ive searched so much to no avail. any guesses? thanks
It could be Netstorm: Islands at War.
Nailed it. thanks a lot..also thanks to redeye123

Hmmm it's strange because this seems like a very similar game, almost as if the one you describe was inspiration for the one I played. However, I am almost certain that the one I played was 2d and didn't have the adventure game type interface. And it was definately on Windows OS because I never owned an Atari system.

I think the problem finding the game I played is that it was probably made by an indie developer and it's very possible there was never a release beyond the shareware version that came on the game compilation CD. It was one of those "1000 Games!" CD's and was released somewhere before 2000. If anyone could find a list of those released game compilations I could go through them one by one. I remember the games were separated by genre on it. I've looked for something like that and haven't had any luck.

Here is one:

Old 90s PC game (only platform that I'm aware of), third person, two people could play at once as these two blonde hair dudes dressed in blue who walk through warehouse type levels killing enemies with different weapons (lead pipes, guns, bigger guns, etc.), and after each level you could upgrade your weapons. I know it's not much to go on, but if anybody has any ideas, they would be much appreciated.

Copied two other previous posts that I think are describing the same thing I am:

I played it in the mid 90's, 95-98ish, and you control a character who wears shades. You go around this basement like room collecting stuff/killing people/opening doors (not too sure) to try to pass the level.
And the weapons are upgradable.
I'm pretty sure its a co-op game as well, and it might have something to do with robbers/police.
Its 2D, kinda pixelated

There used to be a game that I've played with my dad in co-op: a shooter with 1 screen, looking at an angle from above. You have to navigate through big levels together and in between each level you could go shopping for weapons/upgrades. As far as I remember you were only allowed to carry 1 weapon though, no ammo req.
Not very specific, but that's about all I remember since it's about....17-18 years ago.

FOUND: Cyberdogs

Hi! Maybe you can help me...

I remember that i had a game for ps1 like Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing where one of the character was a little old lady with gray hair and a white kart. In that game you could modify all the kart's units and the characters said set expression during the race...

Thank you!
