I also joined just so I could ask a question. It was an educational game for the PC, put out in the 90's, and involved a lot of science. It took place on this island, and the main character was a spaceman or something? There was a spaceship, I remember that. Anyways, there were several locations on the island, including a volcano, a cave that went into the volcano, a forest, a laboratory, and some fields. Basically you had to try to preserve the forests and keep the volcano from blowing up (which was really hard). I remember in the lab there was some sort of aquarium that you could mess with and had some sort of time element, and you could basically evolve this frog or whatever. It had a strong emphasis on environmentalism and stuff. I swear, I can see the cover of the game, but I can't remember the name of it to save my life. XD

Any help is very appreciated, it's driving me crazy.

I remember playing a game in the early 2000s and you had to find 100 cookie boxes, you also had to ski and go on a side where there was a square, a triangle or a circle, then there was a place with colorful beans and on the mountain there was a drum and you also had to save an apple who was named granny smith, i know this is vague but i miss playing that game and i'd like to play it again im sure no one knows this game but if you have any info please help! thanks :)

Hi! I remember that i had a game for ps1 like Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing where one of the character was a little old lady with gray hair and a white kart. In that game you could modify all the kart's units and the characters said set expression during the race...

Thank you!

I hope someone is able to help me. I have been searching for this game for weeks now. It is a really old (around 12-15 year old) game for pc. I can only remember a few things: It was an action RPG in diablo style. In the opening sequence was a dragon which burnt down a house, I think. You had a world map on which you could travel from one place to another. During the travel you were able to see where your Characters are going, through footprints appearing on the map. During the travel, sometimes enemies attacked you and the game switched into the normal fighting mode, which was similar to diablo's. Another thing I remember is that there was a mission where you had to protect a village by placing soldiers around it. You had to do this on a seperate map screen. You were also able to get followers, similar to diablo. I think you started the game in a tower, but I'm not sure.
This is all I can remember about the game. I would be really grateful if someone could help me.

Alright, I have recently been thinking of two games I used to play as a kid that I cannot remember the names of.

1. A game for a PC that might have actually come on a floppy disk... I have a very hazy memory of this, so all I can piece together is that you were in outer space and you were trying to get crystals or diamonds, something like that. They were white/clear hexagon shaped gems that you would get if you solved the puzzle correctly. However, I can't remember what the puzzles were like (sorry). I also remember having like a main headquarters that you would go back to and I THINK that if you collected enough crystals you would be transported to another part of space and another headquarters.

2. I feel like this game was really popular, it was like called Mountain Climber or something? Basically, I remember the character was a guy and you would have to run across like a grassy ground and you'd jump over like gaps. For some reason I feel like you carried a pick ax too... but I never remember using that in the game. I also think you had to climb up ladders, but I'm not sure.

Sorry that my memories are so foggy but I'd really appreciate it if anyone got back to me!

I've been looking for an old pc game, possibly from the late 90's. You had to choose a tribe of either ogres, amazons or these bee-like creatures. You then had to build up your tribes village and educate and train your tribe and manage your supplies. I remember you could trade with other tribes and mine things like ore. Never got that far to see if I was supposed to start wars and conquer other tribes. So im not sure if that was even the point of the game.
Sounds like Alien Nations.

Was that a game for Windows 3.1, or DOS? Because if it is we're probably looking for the same game :)... all I remember about it is that in my computer it was named "MINERO" (which is Spanish for miner), and the character was kind of similar to Mario. I vaguely remember some beeps and sounds about it... damn.

EDIT: I think I found the game I'm talking about! It's called Crystal Caves. Does the game you're talking about look like this? http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/crystal-caves/screenshots/gameShotId,25395/

A 3D PC game I used to play back in 1999-2000 on Win 98 (though it was probably released before then) where you drove various cars, could attach/mount guns on them and played through story missions (escort, hostage rescue, etc).
You were given a HUGE selection of cars and you could adjust armor plating on them, mount everything from guided missiles, machine gun turrets, 30mm cannons, etc. There was also a main character named "Stampede"...I think...(but you could play as other characters and their stories) but Google has failed to find the game based on that. Most gameplay involved killing or racing other cars which also had mounted weapons, you were some sort of...rogue police...argh so vague.

The graphics were fully 3D (first person or third person while driving) but extremely blocky till the point where the characters in cutscenes didn't even have eyes or mouths. You spent 95% of the time in cars so it didn't matter anyway. It had an AWESOME retro/jazz soundtrack to top everything off.

I remember spending countless hours messing around in that game but can't for the life of me remember the name :(

Sadly I don't think I've run into a game that explores the concept of attaching guns to cars and having car vs car warfare.

Im looking for a game that resembles most japanese/final fantasy games execpt in this game you control the fighting and the fighting is not turn by turn. I also remember having to answer questions something along the lines of this to choose your companion. Did you prefer your fathers strictness or your mothers softness? My companion was a fairy but i know that if you answer differently you can get different companions.
Could be one of the Ogre Battle games.

Hi, I'm looking for a game I played as a kid, it was only a demo but I would love to play the full version.

I believe the game was a strategy game, and there was 4 races (Only one playable via the demo, whom were green guys). You could build a base up and could go exploring and kill stuff. I remember the level you were able to play was based in a forest/jungle and if you went to the top corner of map, you hit snow/ice and there was a ship that looked like a hover craft you capture and bring back to your base.

I know it's a really vague description, but trying to remember this game has been doing my head in.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Was it War Wind?

I have two.

1: It's a sidescroller shooter, can't remember what system it was on. You're a musclebound mercenary kinda guy, who wears a bandanna. I remember specifically one level being on a train, and I remember it had some ludicrous boss fights, one of which was an alien mother ship type deal. I think the environment is destructible, though I could be remembering that last part wrong? Also it had two-player co-op, because I remember playing it with my older brother around ten years ago.

2. Game for the SNES, you can play as Godzilla and King Kong and some other giant monsters, and you're destroying a city while also fighting each other.
The first one could be anyone one of the various Contra games.

Ok so i remember playing this game i think in either the late 90s or early 20s.
it was some kind of mystery/detective game, not sure if horror or just super creepy(can't remember)
i am pretty sure it was 3rd person perspective, and the character you were playing as
was female.

It may have been about finding an abducted baby, and i remember hearing a crying baby somewhere.
And i know at some point we were in the wine cellar and there was some red liquid on the floor,
and we were like "is this blood or wine?".

Really the thing we remember the most is the crying baby while in the wine cellar.

And at another time we were in either a big house, a mansion or an office, and we were searching for clues and suddenly an old lady (looking rather creepy) started to camp outside the door and
we felt we really should not let her know we were there.

My father thinks it was about vampires or something, im not entirely sure.
Oh and also we played it on the PC

We have searched the internet for countless of hours and still cannot find it.

i would pee myself from happiness if anyone were to find this. :)

Hello everybody,

I am searching for a reeeaaalllyyy old game. Hopefully you can help me anyways...
It was role play game in the late 80s, early 90s. I had it as 5 1/4 inch disc(s). It had an isometric view and the colors (ega graphcis; cga also available) where quite light yellow, beige. The setting was medieval.
In the beginning of the story you were a prisoner in a cell. Your figure was leaning against ethe table, with it's back to viewer. You could escape by moving a table. There was a mouse hole as well for some reason. Once outside you went to the south, south-east. After some time came a small stream/river with a bridge to the left. On that place where a tree as well. You could find an apple and a feather. If you went further to the left, there came some hills after a while...
It was no fluent graphics. Every scene hat it's own picture.

The box of the game had beige color as well.

I am looking for hours now and couldn't find it...

Thank's a lot for your help!

You my mate, have been playing the so called "The curse of enchantia"
or just "Curse of enchantia"
The most unlogic game in history :)

"the day of the tentacle"
Or just "Day of the tentacle"

i cant figure out the name of these games. ok i was in early elementary school, late 90's early 2000's, playing them on PC for our computer class. 1ST GAME: you were bull riding on a horse. you had like 4 or 5 horses to choose from before the game started. one was named Daisy. you solved math problems to keep the guy from falling off of the horse. you also had a little cowboy who sat on a fence singing home on the range sometimes.
2ND GAME: you did math problems and the background was black. and if i remember correctly there were like three or four dinosaurs with instruments or something.
3RD GAME: the beginning started out weird. there was a talking female lady bug (possibly a fairy) and all of these little different colored houses. and you had to do all sorts of things. i think it involved nursery rymes but im not 100% sure.
