Hi guys, can you please help me find one game? I've been dreaming about finding it forever.

I was playing it as a little child. In windows95, i think. It was a a 2d platformer, where you play as a badass-cool blue (i think?) robot, like a japan transformers, you know. You got to jump/fly around, and shoot stuff. There were a TON of pick-ups, upgrades, etc. that made you shoot in 3-5 directions, for example, and shoot with more powerfull rounds. Just like in those games where you fly as a space craft and shoot stuff, but in a platformer.

I remember a ton of grass, I remember a huge world, I remember that I could go under the ground... And I also remember, that in the first level there was that wind that stopped you from going further to the right, and you had to disable it somehow, to go further..

That's all I remember :/ Sorry, if it is insufficient.
Are you sure it's all from the same game? The robot part sounds like Thexder but the last paragraph makes me think of a game called Exile, which I played on the Commodore Amiga.

Hi, this thread is just fantastic!
I vaguely remember playing a computer game in my childhood.
The main character was a girl who looked very similar to the girl from Tomb Raider.
It was an older game, I played it in the early 2000s, but it might have been a 90s game for all I know.
I played it on an old Windows computer, and she ran from room to room doing things (I cant seem to remember what), I know blood was involved, and one of the levels was running outside around a building which was fenced with an old torn fence.
I'm sure being only 7/8 years old at the time (currently 17), I could not have gotten much better than the first couple of levels.

Also, I played another game, which I know had a plane, and it was cubically shaped (if that makes any sence?).
You got three lives, but in reality it was four. It was not an individual game, but instead came in a pack of games (I think it was 1001 Best Games or something like that?)

Sorry, I know this makes very little sense, but some trauma I experienced around that time has left the memories very hazy..I am trying my best, all I see is the little details. Will update back if I remember any more details.
All guesses are welcome, I VERY MUCH appreciate the help.
THANK YOU.

Trying forever to find a game I used to play on my old windows 98 (i think) computer at least 10 years ago. It was a haunted house/mansion shooting-type game. You walked through the mansion and shot Frankenstein, bats, witches and traveled outside into the garden labyrinth to shoot skeletons that shot back at you. Then you went into the stone court yard and shot at gargoyles. It had other levels where you shot at harder to kill witches. You collected healing potions. And you could change out your guns for a magic wand. I used to waste SOOO many hours on this game and I was thinking about it that other day and I can't remember what is was actually called. I think it might have come with my windows computer back in the day.

Does anyone remember this or know the name? I wonder if you can still play it anywhere?

Thanks!!

Hi! (sorry for my english)

This is a hard one:

- It's an board PC game and I remember playing it in the end of the 90s, but it might have been early 2000 or something.
- I played the demo version witch it was included in a pc magazine (PC Mania, Hot Shareware, CD Shareware, etc.)
- I played it in window mode, so the game runs in Windows 95/98.
- The game it's like a board game, you select a player (remember a player in a airplane) and (maybe) roll the dice and you walked X squares.
- I played it with my brother, so I think that we can select 2 players
- Good graphics (windows 95/98)
- Current/Present-day setting
- (unsure) Each player with a different conveyance (airplane, train, car, etc.)
- (unsure) Is not a pc version of an classic board game (monopoly, game of life, etc.)
- (unsure) Side/lateral perspective
- (unsure) the board was like world map (or similar), with the seas (I remember a lot of blue color, so I think it was the seas).

I've searched on google for a long time and... nothing.

Thanks!
Hi,

can you please describe more of the gameplay like what is the objectif of the game ? kill some opponents or something else ? can you build some building/units ? generate money ? the is game actualy turn based ?

Okay I'm trying desperately to remember a particular game.

Facts:
1. In color
2. 80's
3. Apple Computer
4. Not a 2d scroller
5. Controlled a character who warps to different lands
6. WASD/Arrow Controlled
7. Somewhat similar to Zelda but not so much "knights" and "dragons" as just a normal guy (but it doesn't not take place in present time).

It's been so long I can't seem to remember any more relevant details and I know I just described about 475940 games. Just toss out screenshots/titles and I'll google to confirm/deny. Thinking mid to late 80's.

yeah im looking for a game cant remember the name but i do remember that you used a wand or some sort that was capable of shooting out yellow balls that also bounce off walls or any solid object as you go through you collect coins and spell books that allowed you to summon gollems and so on and there was this one tricky puzzle that acted as a magic lock that removed a bush or tree out your path giving you access to lots of coins and a spell book the puzzle look like 3 sets of 9 blocks that was on the ground showing as white and you had to walk across them to turn them blue and each set of 9 had to have a certain pattern to clear the path but the puzzle was optional and it was a pc game the starting area was a grassy area if someone knows the name of this game let me know and i dont think if ever knew the name lol if you know the game send the name to me with this sites mailing option

Azure Dreams, perhaps?
i checked on youtube to see what it was and sadly it isn't the one :(

I am also looking for 2 games that has been on my mind for the longest time, but i can never remember the name. They are all games that I played in the late 90s-early 2000 on the pc (fuzzy memories).

The first game is in 3d and is something like starcraft, but it is all mech and there are huge robots where u build units and gather resources. you can build guns and swords, laser beams for the robots too, and there is the underground terrain, land terrain, and sky terrain all in one map. aka you have units that can dig underground and then search for minerals and stuff, and fight the enemies who also dug underground for resources, the mechs can't go underground (not sure), but they can fly to the sky terrain and fight. All i remembered was that it was really really cool, and I have no idea why did i stop playing it lol...

The second game is something also somewhat similar to starcraft, its also in 3d but there are vampires, and a few other races, i remember that you can heal the vampires and sometthing, I am really sorry if this description is really vague, course i was like 8 when i played it, all i remembered was that it was incredibly fun with all the gathering food and reviving ~_~"

If anything that I described sounds even somewhat similar, please throw out the names of the games, anything would be great, thanks :)

I think the game was late PS1 or early PS2 Era
it was a 3D RPG in an anime style about a boy with a wrench, he was a mechanic and i think he was supposed to save the town
there were plant monsters among others , the boy had a sister , and there were mini quests in the small town at one point you can do a minigame or quest you can play as one of the monsters(it might have been a disguise that the boy would wear , its kind of foggy in my memory) i remember being able to go fishing upgrade your wrench and get different equipment

I had no luck in searching with the knowledge i had
I hope i gave enough info and someone can help me out here

Hello again and thanks for trying! I think that is a turn-based game and I think that the objective it must be the first to reach the goal, be the first to reach the end of the board. You don't build units/buildings and you dont make money. It wasn't a strategy game. I get the feeling it was as if the board was the representation of the world and you were traveling along inside your vehicle, falling in different squares, trying to reach the final goal. I think that it wasn't an educational game, and you weren't learning things from different countries. I think you don't have to kill the opponents, I guess you could be doing different things to slow them down and you take advantage on the board. I think it must be like the "Game of Life board game", but traveling the world . Thank you!

Joined this forum because I have been looking for the name of the game described below for a couple years now; had a demo of it on a PlayStation Magazine CD that I rocked for a long time:

Hello, I'm trying to find a game I used to play in the late 90's on windows 95 or DOS...

It was about an armored vehicle that you operate and drive freely in some funfair in the first level.

There are different enemies - a car that pushes you , a teddy bear that crushes your car and some little things that throw bombs at you.

That was the first level which I couldn't pass.

There was an intro video in which a story was told - you get into a car crash and they put you in that futuristic armored car. I think it played everytime you got killed.

The game was 3-rd person close view as far as I could remember and the battle arena was closed, but under some conditions you could go over the fence and drive freely into a desert. However in that case, some sort of helicopter drops an enemy car near you, which tries to hot you.

The car's energy (life) was reduced when you got hit by the enemy car and you could get some sort of E.M.P torpedo to disable it for some time, but it was indestuctible. The other enemies - the teddy bear you could kill with some sort of mine, but if the bear manages to grab your car - you are dead. The toughest enemy were some small jumping thingies, that were throwing instant-death bombs at you.

Oh, and the game was pretty tough, as I said I couldn't get past level 1...

P.S. Yes I registered on the board only because of that thread, but I'm glad I stumbled upon it - it's a great forum!
I finally found it. Posting here to hopefully help some other clueless soul(s) in the future.

It's called Slamscape.

Okay, so i've been scouring the internet, and can not find this game for the life of me.
It was a PC game, of that i am certain, sometime in the late 90's i'm guessing, though i may be wrong.
Here is what I remember:
-It was a cartoony driving game for children
-First person view
-The "host" was an animal, i THINK a rabbit or a dog but i may be wrong. This host would communicate to you in your car while you were driving through your town.
-You start off by going to "Driving School"
-There is a Drive-in Theatre, a Pet Store, and a Trailer Park
-You would be given a picture of a location in the town with a ticket or little card, and you had to try and go find these cards/tickets
-I'm pretty sure the car was red
-You could go up in a hot-air balloon and see the whole town

I don't remember anything else, but i loved the game and played it for a long time, and have been dying to know what it was!

Hey people!

I'm looking for this game for about 7 years!

-I played it on pc maybe in 2004
-It was a sort of managerial rpg with strategic commands. The camera was on top of the map, you could move it with arrows and select with mouse.
-You could hire, equip and grind heroes (warriors, wizards or archers)
-In the wizard store there was a guy singing "Wands and quivers, quivers and wands, if you look for a chest..."
-The monsters and the map were colorful

Do you remember the name?

Thanks in advance xD

Hey guys,

There was this game on the atari (dont remember which model) that had alien(s) coming down from the top to the bottom.

When i say aliens it was more like a pixel picture of aliens or so.

It was possible to play with two players and the only other thing i can remember is everytime you shot this big alien a part of it would disappear so it was possible to shoot right though the alien but the rest of the alien would keep moving down the screen etc.

appreciate any help i can get.

Ok, this one has been bugging me for years now.

It was a PC game from I believe the early 90's.
It was an aircraft strategy war game.
It was top down and in real time.
I am pretty sure it was entirely based on WW2 aircraft but not 100%.
You would start with a number of air bases that had limited fuel and ammunition and had planes at each one.
You had three types of aircraft: Fighters, Fighter/Bombers, and Bombers.
You could send these planes out on air superiority missions, strike missions, escort missions, pretty much anything.

I distinctly remember when you were zoomed out and planes were flying around, they were represented by vertical dotted lines that would grow or shrink depending on the plane's altitude.

The dotted lines would be alternating white and a color. The color would indicated what type of plane it was, for example I think fighters were orange and white but I am not sure. Fighter/Bombers were white and green. Enemy planes I believe alternated red and the specific plane type color.

You had different scenarios such as the Battle of Britain where you would have command of literally hundreds of aircraft.
You could play as either the Allies or the Axis countries.

There was no land or sea combat, it was entirely air based.

I can remember so many details from this game except the damned name. I have searched every game I could find from the early 90's/late 80's that had anything to do with WW2 air combat but nothing is it.

I have very little memory of it.

It was a 3D (for sure) first person (not very sure, but probably) game, played it on a Windows 95, circa 2000~2002. Very colorful, very very green, definitely looks like you're in a jungle. I was 7 or 9 years old and didn't know english, so it was veeery confusing.

But was beautiful, a little magic or childish. At some stage you go on a trip through the jungle, I don't remember any context. But you are in this weird, kind of steampunk(??) machine (its brown and has some controls and velocimeters and things like that) and this machine flies, I think.

I don't remember the origin of this game. I think it came from something called "Business Kit" from Xerox. I don't know where my father got this.

Also, at the end (or start?) of this trip you talk to this... thing. My memory fails me so hard on this, it can be anything, but my brain tells me it's more like this:

- Maybe a clapboard with a... face? Maybe i'm confusing this one with Crash Bandicoot
- Maybe a fruit with a face. It definitely could speak
- Maybe just a colorful character
- Perhaps this thing was not alone with me. There were another things.

I have no words to describe it more.

Okay Zezyrr, I found your post (5 pages back, it's easy to miss things here), and after some fruitless searching, I reread it.
Are you talking about Square's Legend of Dragoon?

Many of the elements you mentioned are present here, but if this is the game you are after, much of it is wrong.

There's a ps3 remake. I should get that, love this game.

It was a game on the PS2, There were two gods, both had avatars that were dragons, a white dragon and a black dragon respectively. You played as a (blue?) haired young male whos (girlfriend?) was the "Chosen" or "Vessel" and was slowly losing her humanity (thus another parallel to ToS in that aspect) you go on a big quest to save her and such. the bosses are dragons of different elements (pretty sure there were fire, water, earth, and air dragon bosses, at least the ones I remember) one of the two boss fights I remember is a water dragon you fight (at the bottom of the sea?) and it stuck in my mind because there was something along the lines of your father being one of the knights who sealed the dragons and he lost his life sealing the water dragon (you get his sword around this point, has a gem set in the pommel which was significant for some reason I can't recall, I think you might get it from beating the dragon) I remember one of the characters you can get in your party is a member of a human sized winged race (they had kinda fairy wings) and he was bad ass you could only get him if you could beat him and he was like 20 levels above any of your other characters at that point (for me he was at least, maybe I just didn't do enough grinding XD) but the other boss I remember was possibly the final boss (not sure cause I never got past him before I had to return the game and PS2) it was the black dragon god and it was intent on taking your girlfriends body as its mortal vessel and you had to go to its realm and fight it or something like that. The ONLY other thing I remember from it was that I THINK it was an Enix game (I seem to recall the logo from any time I started up the game)
I've researched it a bit more, and I am pretty sure you are merging elements of multiple games into one.

Legend of Dragoon: You've got the dragons, a special sword used to seal dragons (Dragon Buster), and a winged race (the Winglies, had fairy-like wings, made of light) and the main character Dart's love interest Shana was the Moon Child, vessel of the God of Destruction.

You fight a Wingly named Lloyd, who is very powerful, but he never joins you, the only Wingly you get in your party is a young girl with a hammer. Dart has brown hair, his father didn't die sealing a water dragon, he vanished after facing the Black Monster. I don't recall anything about a special gem in the pommel of Dragon Buster. Also while there are black and white dragons, they're not gods. The God of Destruction is the Virage Embryo.
Edit: I guess the gem you are recalling could be the Red-Eye Dragoon Spirit?

It's a PSOne game.

Sorry for never really coming back to see if someone responded to me >_< (had some interesting things happen and just got settled in my new place, and admittedly I had kind of forgotten about my request on this site until I was going through my bookmarks today) Thanks for the help! Though I honestly am still confused as to what it might be as the parts I do remember I remember vividly,(it is oddly similar to Legend of Dragoon in some aspects but I don't understand how I'd have memories of a PSOne game as I've never even seen any games played on one, asides from the links I've gotten, let alone owned one) it almost feels like I have memories from a different reality at this point as I've still been trying to figure it out from time to time and just hit a brick wall every time :/
(And I sincerely doubt it could have been some crazy fever dream :p)

Maaybe ya'll can help me find a Japan-only game that I tried to play years ago.
It's a SRPG similar in look and feel to Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis, made for either the PSX or PS2.

The most I can remember from it is the protag is a new recruit for some army. That you make some choices in the beginning during a recruitment scene (takes place in a sort of office/study with a recruitment manager or head of the army) and that details the stats you receive (and possibly the character's personality). One of the characters is a gal with blue, short hair. Also whenever I think of the game I keep trying to call it Baalberith but its title is probably a word similar to that.

Vaguest description ever but it's all I got. I actually first found the game from fan art of the blue-haired girl which is why I'm having so much trouble finding it again.

Suwariish: Belberith (probably based on Baalberith) is a demon that appears on the Shin Megami Tensei saga, and there are some JRPGs.

Ah I know that >.< SMT and it's spinoffs are some of the games I keep up with. I just meant the Romaji spelling of the game was something similar to Baalberith/Belberith.
