I'm searching 4 itJonezi said:I'm also searching one another game.Jonezi said:Hi, I remember playing this platform-game in early 2000's, which had like this "one screen at a time"-based screen movement, kinda like in Legend of Zelda, but sidescrolling. You played as some wizard. It was freeware-version, so there was only one level, and had another character (Merlin I guess) locked. It had pretty descent graphics and soothing music. You collected different coloured gems, which looked like diamonds. Enemies were quite generic, wolves and bees and such. You fought them with staff that had some missile-type spells on it. If I remember correctly, when you got enough gems, a door appeared on some screen as an exit.
I really would appreciate, if somebody would know the name of this game that has been lost from me so many years...
I was playing this also in the early 2000's. It was played on one computer as 4 player deathmatch, and was played as different coloured frogs. You were supposed to kill other players by jumping on top of them. It had power-ups (super-jump, super-speed, invulnerability etc..) and few maps, I can remember one being Titanic and other was some kind of a cave.
The game was really fast paced and was graphically kinda simple.
Also, it had lots of blood
Pretty sure its Nanosaur..CD-R said:The only RTS I've ever heard of to feature dinosaurs was Jurassic WarSindalla said:I need help! There's a particular game I've been looking for the past 4 years or so. I remember playing it 10-15 years ago, I don't remember what platform. It involved rts, aliens, dinosaurs, eggs, bases, and it was a war game, defeat your opponent. I'm pretty sure you played as the Dinos, I'd you we're able to play as the aliens, I don't remember. It was also a eagle eye view, like command and conquer, Warcraft, etc.

What I come to you today in search of was a video game i played around 2003ish although its possible it was released earlier. The game's plot was controlling a wizard who used a wand as a weapon that was upgradable and when attacking it threw orbs. The main enemy were these walking mushrooms. I remember the last boss being named Dave. He wore a suit of armor and the map for the boss fight was just a small piece of land surrounded by lava. It was for PC. I can't remember much else about it.
The game you are thinking of is team buddies on ps1Samushi said:I need helping finding two games
2) The second game was also for the ps1 or ps2 I dont think anyone will remember or even know the name of it All i remember was you play as these pill shaped people I guess. They didnt have any arms or legs just feet and hands. You would run around picking up these boxes and place them on this square then break them to make guns, bikes or even tanks.
Sapiens did get an updated PC release in 1998.Benjamin Arceneaux said:CD-R said:The only game that comes close to what you are describing is a game called Sapiens that was released on the Atari ST.Benjamin Arceneaux said:Hey guys please know that I have searched for this game on google for many, many, years since I played it last. It definately had to be made before 2000, I'm thinking 1998 or around then. It came in one of those shareware/freeware (but mostly shareware and demos) compilations that are floating around from time to time. Well this particular game was a survival/rpg caveman (I think so?!) game. The "camera" was set so it sort of seemed like a side scroller and I believe the game was played in increments of days/time. I also think that you had to gather food and basically just see how long you could survive, a bit like Oregon Trail except you were one character. I remember you were only allowed so many days/time in the demo/shareware version that came with the compilation so I played that demo over and over doing a little better each time. There are so many posts in this thread that I fear I may miss a response to my post, just e-mail me at [email protected] if you have an idea, or here I will look through the posts as well as I possibly can. This was a big part of my childhood and looking to find at least some info about the game.
Also you may have been able to get more characters to join you, forming a party of sorts. This may be incorrect but I seem to remember this...

Good luck finding it though this game is beyond obscure.
Hmmm it's strange because this seems like a very similar game, almost as if the one you describe was inspiration for the one I played. However, I am almost certain that the one I played was 2d and didn't have the adventure game type interface. And it was definately on Windows OS because I never owned an Atari system.
I think the problem finding the game I played is that it was probably made by an indie developer and it's very possible there was never a release beyond the shareware version that came on the game compilation CD. It was one of those "1000 Games!" CD's and was released somewhere before 2000. If anyone could find a list of those released game compilations I could go through them one by one. I remember the games were separated by genre on it. I've looked for something like that and haven't had any luck.
That describes at least a dozen games made in the last 5 years.ShanniiBee said:I Hope I Could Find Help.. I Remember Playing This Game That Was In 2005/6/7. .
It Was A Shooting Game.. And The Men Could Have Talked.. And You'd Have To Reload Your Gun.. To Shoot Other People( I Think They Were Soldiers) And There Was A Train.. You Could Have Go On The Train.. And Lot's More Stuff..I Can't Remember The Name.. Help!!!
Someone asked about a game with a very similar description a few months back, and it turned out to be The Tone Rebellion. Is <link=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tone_Rebellion>this it?neijek said:hey guys i hope you can save me
I've been searching the net for hours on end every few months for like 2 years trying to find this old game i used to love.. and i stumbled on here so i hoped one of you remembers it.. i read through like 50 pages of this tread, hoped some one already asked but no luck ;( ..
ok the game was i think for win 98, say around 1994-8, it was a platform game *meaning flat 2d moving just left or right (not isometric or 3d). It was a kind of RTS, where you had these fairly color filled maps, i think alien worlds (varried scenery). The idea is that you would need to destroy some hives (making your own to spawn some kind of minions) which would cause then allow u to "connect" one map to an other (like wormholes) allowing progression in clearing these worlds. I though thr game was a kind of "spore" or "hive" name but searched for so long using those two terms found nothing..
hope that rings a bell, one more thing, i think some of the bases/hives of the enemy reminded me a bit of bees, one base 3-4 mobs hovering around it, and if i remeber each had it's plus or minus. een so god damm long
savvveee me thanks in advance
*edit, im almost certain it was for win98 (compatible with earlier games) and i though it loaded like so many other games of those years the good old dos to load into the game, graphics where pretty nice better then C&C (around the same time line) .. might of been more 2000~ and not 1994-8
