Ok, I will give it a second go. This was a game I played in the 2000's I think(PC, Windows). It even had a sequel. In the game your heroes were somehow summoned through a portal, but scattered throughout the game and you would eventually find them through quests. There was no free roam. You would just be in a city that looked very similiar to the Swords and Sandals Gladiator games, just one street with shops and a pub and stuff. You would get a quest and go fullfill it and then return to the city. It was fantasy, there was magic, elements, dragons, forests, necromancers, wolfs etc. It was 2D, pixelated, the view from above but a lot further above than rpgs usually have, the view was more similiar to real time strategy games. And again, eternal gratitude to whoever can help.

I'm looking for an old 90s game, I think it was one of a couple hundred simple games on a disk. You flew around in a ship like the asteroids game and you tried to land on planets to take them over. When you took over a planet it got a turret on it to defend against the enemy who was doing the same thing. It was all basic geometric shapes and the colors determined who was who. I also remember that you had to be careful in landing, you had to slow down when you touched down so you didnt crash onto the planet. It got really fast paced and exciting.
This sounds a lot like a game my brother and I would play called Gravity Well!

Oh my god! That is it! You beautiful beautiful person! I totally forgot about the shapes inside the planet and the launch station, but that is 100% it! I guess the "different" ships I was thinking of were the things orbiting the planet, and the turret weren't physical turrets just bullets that come out of the planet haha. I was probably like 10 years old when I played it. I'm not sure why I though the sun was involved, but I am really happy to know someone else had played lol.

Hey all. Was thinking bout a PC RPG I played back early-mid 2000s when I was a teen. It was one of those RPGs where you move around a map tile by tile. I remember playing a mage (one of a few classes) and there being schools of elemental magic (like elemental, buffs, and others I can't remember at least for the mage), as well as sun and dark factions or some other set of 2 or 3 factions later on. I also remember there being a variety of creatures but I vividly remember an area with higher level dinosaurs northward from the starting area. I also remember getting a cool item before I quit which let you rip enchants off items. You could also interact with other players to party up as a buff mage with a warrior for instance to go killing creatures and when roaming the map you could come across other faction's players and kill them if on the same tile. I also remember playing a mage learning a bunch of buffs and selling my buffing skills to other players for currency.

Help would be appreciated thx.

Edit: The game wasn't firstperson moving around or anything, it's one of those ones where there's an image every time to change tiles and your party is on the left side of the screen, enemies on the right, and the characters are just pictures rather than avatars.

Yeah it makes me really happy to know someone else played and enjoyed it too! My brother and I still talk about it, even though we only had the shareware version. :)

Okay trying to explain this game always makes me sound silly, but I'm going to give it a shot. I'm thinking 90s to early 00s max? It was a computer game I'm sure. When you played it was like, a bunch of little mini games/activities? But the main screen was like, quite possibly on the moon or some alien planet, and everyone was standing on these platforms? and the platforms you clicked were different things. And "everybody" were... not humans, they were little alien creatures? They had 2 legs but i'm not sure if they had arms. Everything in that area had tones of like greys and biege, from what I remember?
The only minigame i specifically remember honestly involved like, a Wild Western Salon type deal? I forget what you did there but I think it involved color matching or mixing, it definitely involved colors.

I am potentially remembering two different games, I think here was more than one game in this series. I briefly thought they were called Fuzzles but googling that proved me wrong, haha.

Okay. This is going to be a tough one.
This is a gameboy game, and I'm convinced that it's pre-game boy advance. I don't remember a ton from the game which is why it's such a shot in the dark.
It's a turn based rpg, I remember at the beginning of the game, you start out with your village under an attack of some sort, it's raining really hard, and eventually you have to head north in your village to fight a bad guy that is well beyond your skill, I believe you have help. I do remember that this takes place on, or around a bridge. That's basically all I remember, super addicting game. I do remember it being relatively easy to get through, like it wasn't a crazy grind or anything . I think you have 4 or 5 characters to control by the end of the game. Either the first or second one you get is a female character with strong Magic capabilities. I remember being able to use magic very early in the game too.

That's about all I can remember. Must have been 15 years ago now. Thanks for anyone who even tries to make suggestions, I haven't given you much of anything here.

This game always stays on my mind for a while every time I remember it. It's so hard to describe because I can't remember a lot. It was a ps2/ps1 game can't remember which system, but I know it was like a puzzle game where you were in a room I believe and you had to complete the task given in order to go to the next room or stage or whatever it was. It was a plain white room with whatever you had to complete inside the room I think. It was a very hard game but it was so fun and I really want to remember it again but I really can't, thats just about it. When I think about it now it kinda reminds me of the concept of portal had but I think it was older than portal.

There's this small online game I've been trying to remember.
You are a hero trying to defeat a large demon which is in the top middle of the screen. You do so by choosing a structure to place on the world each turn, after which the hero would move around and do things. There are eight of the structures, and they are on the sides of the screen.
Grow RPG: http://www.eyezmaze.com/grow/RPG/INDEX.HTML
...I'm surprised that nobody else got it yet, I thought that the Grow-series is popular.

I know you said that it isn't a GBA game, but that does sound similar to the opening of Golden Sun. Being able to use magic early on also matches, as does the number of characters. And it was released around 15 years ago.

Hey guys. My best friend and I have been trying to find a game we used to play together way back in the day. It was one of the nostalgia moments where we went to the movie/video game rental store together, and tried to find the best game for 2 players.

Countless hours of searching and THINKING, "That's the game!" when doing searches, we still have no idea what the name is. Here is the description.

It was a Super Nintendo game. You flew an airplane or a helicopter, still not 100% sure on this, but believe it was a plane. You were in a cockpit interface. I believe you could select what to do, but Player 1 would pilot the aircraft, and Player 2 would fire the weapons. It wasn't a side scroll shooting game, and it seemed like an open world, but that may have been too sophisticated at the time. Either way, it was pretty much like a dog fighting/shooting stuff on the ground game. Problem is, I don't believe either of us ever played a single player, so we have no idea if the game was any different. I know it sounds pretty vague, but I don't recall throughout my life many games that let you operate in this fashion. You usually controlled and fired your own vehicle/aircraft, with a few buttons to fire and use your special. But this game utilized the different buttons on your controller for various weapons and the pilot would use different maneuvers to avoid enemies.

Any and ALL help would be greatly appreciated. Even if you have an idea that this MAY have been a Playstation One game, that's fine too. We are both totally convinced that it was Super Nintendo, but there is room for error. I don't think you guys realize how many times we've had drinks together and reminisce on the game, and then continue to have more and Google search with more luck. Maybe we should try it sober for once, but that takes the fun out of it.

Thanks everyone. I hope someone can help solve this long mystery!

I believe i played this Pc game Rts around 2004-2006,it is similar to starcraft.
It had 2 or 3 races if i'm right, one was some humanoid-aliens,other was some robots.
I remember that the robots had a special ability of their resource colectors that they wouldn't have to go back to town center to return the resources, they were using their hands as pipes to go underground and come to surface near town center to transfer the resources.
I think minerals was the main resources.
I even have a pic i took with my cellphone at that time - the main menu of the game, similar to starcraft main menu.
I remember it was the demo version that i played.
I spent a long time without luck searching in RTSC Rts Game List and IGN Games List
I will search in other Directories too,i won't give up.
4 years later still searching for it.
Had another flashback of another potential resource being lumber.
I looked entry by entry with no luck on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronology_of_real-time_strategy_video_games (even looking on older games since i don't know the game release time, only the time period i played it)
What i suspect is the game might have been cancelled after release. The version i played was definitely a demo version since i remember only 1 map or skirmish mission was available or something like that.
And the pic above might not be exactly the main menu, maybe it was the pause menu when you press Escape.

Hi! I want to find an old game, from 1990s or early 2000s. It is a 2D game. You would have to kill some animals (cats, dogs, bats, rats..) by jumping on them. The animals were coming from the roof. Also, it was different scenes like winter, where the main character would slip on the floor.

It was a multiplayer game, too.

I hope someone could help me find this game.
Thank you!

Hey, im looking for an old flash game on the PC, played about 2007/2008. you would pick a civilization and start in their city, each one had a unique weapon type, you could buy soldiers or a horse or a ship. it was very much like early final fantasy games. you could explore other city's/civilization and conquer them. might be an armor games game, but not sure i haven't been able to find it anywhere. thank you.

Hello Everyone!

Can you help me find a game? I saw it in arcade machines. Basically run and gun style, like Contra. You could swap weapons between levels, the weapons were on a display on the wall ( 3 og them I think ). The main bosses were big, I mean screen big. The game took place mainly in jungle, forests etc.

I know its not much, but I relly appreciate any help. Thanks

Hey everyone. Was wondering if anyone can help me find a game. Does anyone else remember that game from years ago (2000's ish? Maybe 2011 I think was the last time I played it) where you had to like escape from a jungle or something and there was a helicopter and this building with these rooms or something and in one of them was this vending machine and you had to connect the wires to make the drink and there was also like this robot or something. I think it was a 1st person point and click kind of thing. It's so hard to explain. I wouldn't be surprised if no ones ever heard of it to be honest. It was probably just a thing with our primary school but eh. Just throwing it out there in case. It'd just be funny to know lmao. I don't really know anything else about it. I'm not sure if any of that helps but I appreciate any help!

There's this game I used to play when I was little. It's a 3D game that I played on the pc(but it could also be on other platforms). Basically in this game you start as a samurai/warrior and a princess is stolen by some monsters and you have to go around looking for her by killing monsters, looking for loot to upgrade your sword so you can break some locks[The locks were like dark slimy creatures that covered the entire wall(could've also searched for keys)]. There's alot of elements in this game, but I also remember that it's part of series and the ones I played had different stories[Could've also been the same, I was little]. The look of the game was pretty decent, like it came out around 2006-2009[again I'm not sure of the years too], it had semi-realistic anime style and it was pretty heave on story. It's a dark game overall and I loved playing it as little, that's why it'll be amazing if someone can point me to it!

Thanks in advance!

Random moments I can remember:
There was this oger creature/boss that I had to fight in a closed cave, after defeat it broke the stone and opened a path.
There were a lot of annoying flying creatures[Might be a mix-up from another game]
There are all kinds of different creatures to kill, and the overall look/combat reminds me most of dark souls when I remember[Again, I remember little, so I could be filling the small details with recent games]

Hello, I couldn't remember name of the game I played in childhood (It was around 2004-05). It was strategy game. In game your units and building were painted blue and enemies were green.
The buildings were already placed on map (Main building that looked like tower, and factories that produced units like different kinds of tanks and robots with 2 legs which were stronger and special things like Airstrikes) and buildings that you could build like turrets for defense. Buildings like factories could be captured flying saucer or by attacking them with tanks and when you capture them (with lowering their hp the screen would shake and it will become captured).
Main goal was to destroy enemy main building.

http://prntscr.com/audec9 - here is the picture that I painted. It represents a 2 legs robot and a fly saucer

Thanks in advance :)

Bit of a guess, but choosing weapons between stages reminds me of Midnight Resistance [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2o3MzMAsBY].
