Hey guys, I've been racking my brain to find out what game i was playing as a kid around 7 or so years ago on the ps2. It was a guerrilla warfare style shooter where you could change between multiple units at different places on the map that each had their own specific class attributes, there were basic ragdoll physics and it was set in cold country for the first few levels of the campaign, with nato being often mentioned throughout the campaign. There were objectives ranging from taking a factory complex to infiltrating a ship, as well as clearing out an oil rig. The closest thing i could compare it to is that the game felt sort of battlefieldy but no level destruction.
Any help is appreciated.

Dang, I have one. I can't for the life of me remember what console it was on, either, I think either PS1 or N64, maybe even earlier, though I doubt it. You controlled a girl (I think wearing green? With brown hair?), and the only part I can remember is running through a dark series of caves, and to recover health you had to eat stuff that looked like chicken wings, which were visible on the floor to pick up (I'm pretty sure there was a sound effect of her wolfing the chicken wings down). There was a ridiculous boss somewhere in the caves, too, and he was pretty tough, but other than that...

Nothing. Dammit. I played it very briefly at a friend's when I was six or seven, and have never seen it since.
Literally sounds like the first or second Tomb Raider those were on the PS1

For the Megadrive (genesis). It was basically Contra but you played as 1 of 4 Robots.
Im assuming your talking about Probotector which was literally just a re-skinned version of Contra: Hard Corps its a legitimate game but the European version got re-skinned due to it maybe being to violent

2 games
1 is an old rts with different races that was cool (sorry can't really elaborate on it more)
2 IS a battle driving game. Think Death race meets Wipeout and unreal tournament, winner gets out of death row. Lots of cool arena and weapons, no idea what happened to it though.
1.) Dune? They weren't different races though so maybe not.
2.) Twisted Metal? Twisted Metal:Black was the one with the get off death row storyline from what I recall, but the series has been around since the early PS1 era.

Sport game that came out on the Genesis and on the SNES. There were a bunch of different events like skateboarding, surfing, hacky sack, snowboarding, BMX, and so on. Such a fun game, me and my brother would always play each other in it.
Sounds like California Games For the NES thats the only old game i know of that had hacky sack

As for my game, You were a police officer that drives a car for a good part of the game, then your cop car becomes a motorcycle, and eventually a jet. The game had to my memory a mission based system, and I THINK a type of free roam (Don't quote me on that one) It was a Playstation 1 title I think... or a genesis title. It was NOT spychaser, it was like some dystopian future game. Uhhh.... I can't remember much else. Someone please... PLEASE help! It's been haunting me forever trying to figure this out.[/quote]

There was a game for PS1 called Future Cop: L.A.P.D kinda sounds like what your looking for i never got very far in the game but it was an awesome game

Hi. A PC game bothers me greatly. It was a third person shooter from either late '90 or early '00 where you had a squad of, I think four, aliens. They had different core abilites like speed, strenght etc. They had simple colours as textures (red, green, etc. thou i think you could customize that). Main feature of that game was collecting DNA from killed enemies so you could upgrade your warriors. Game art style was quite similar to another game called Sacrifice. Can anyone lift that weight of my brain?

Don't worry! I've found it just few minutes after posting this! The game's title is EVOLVA.

I have a few games which I have never been able to figure out their names, but I can only think of one right now.

I played this game when I was 3 or 4 years old, so realize this may be innacurate :) . I played it on an old school computer (it was no later than 1991 I think) and I believe the game had 5-10 floppy disks. I have always wanted to say it is called Dragon's Lair, but every internet search I've used has always turned up games that never look similar.

Anyways, I remember you start off in shack or small farm type building, and outside is your pet pig (I wish I could remember his name! lol) I don't remember how you move around the world, but I believe it's an isometric view which is stationary. I think I remember a large river south east of where your farm is and I remember eventually entering a cave, which I believe had a dragon in it, and after entering you needed to climb a rope or get a rope to proceed. That's all I can remember, someone help! This has been bothering me for 20 years :)

One of the other games I wish I could remember more about was more recent than NES but definitely older than SNES (I remember most SNES games I've played, I have a pretty good memory) All I know is it was a JRPG. I know that isn't helpful, but it wasn't any Final Fantasy, Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, or Phantasy Star. It wasn't Shining Force (and it wasn't a tactical rpg), but this thread just made me think of that game and how amazing it was...
First game sounds a alot like Kings Quest not sure which one but there is like 8 of them but they are all really old games and sorry but zero information on the second game doesnt help lol

Hello Everyone!

Can you help me find a game? I saw it in arcade machines. Basically run and gun style, like Contra. You could swap weapons between levels, the weapons were on a display on the wall ( 3 og them I think ). The main bosses were big, I mean screen big. The game took place mainly in jungle, forests etc.

I know its not much, but I relly appreciate any help. Thanks
Bit of a guess, but choosing weapons between stages reminds me of Midnight Resistance [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2o3MzMAsBY].
ooooooohhhhhh yeeeeaaaahhhh. Thank you Dear Sire. :)

Okay so i've been looking for a game i played for some years ago.

It was on either gameboy color (or advance i dont remeber) or the ds (ds or 3ds)

It was realeased BEFORE 2011 (really helpfull right?)

If i rember correct, it was kinda like pokemon, you had monsters you fought with and (I think?) you could get new monsters. I think you started with a blue one?

I do remeber you saw it from third person perspective (again cant remeber)

I played as a male, so its either a male or both male and female characters.

I aslo remeber i was in some ruin of sorts, or an old temple.
Its not a board game -_-

Taking another crack at this.

Monster Rancher Advance? ( http://www.mobygames.com/game/gameboy-advance/monster-rancher-advance ) I see a blue monster on the cover art, and there's a shrine which could be your ruins/temple.

It could also be a Spectrobes game; I can't believe I forgot about those, I love them!

Hi, I've been looking for a game I played as child.
I think it's maybe from 95-2000. I just remember that it's a "racing" game with karts or some like that. You're driving an alienbeing character on road of sand and it's over when the flood's coming. The water to the left and right is rising up. May it's some mini game, don't know.

Thanks for help :)

I can't figure what this game isfor the life of me. The only thing that comes up when I search is Faxandu but I'm almost certain that's not it based on the look/feel. Dealing with an NES game that I probably played somewhere around 88-90. Believe it was an adventure/RPG, similar in style to Link to the Past. One of the things I remember vividly was that you had to find a set of winged boots and a harp. I also recall having to travel through a forest to obtain one/both of these items. Anyone have any ideas?

The first one is a big green dragon, 2nd one is a worm covered with eye called eater of the world, 3rd one is dinosaur that kill called tyrant and it's running away from you with alot of little dinosaur , 4rd one is sea monster I believe it's a monster of speed, 5st one is the giant spider, 6st one is flying carterpillar it's saying something about singing. the last one is red dragon I believe it's called dragon of chaos.

Hi, I am finding old logical game which begin every player with one arrow and first player with a red arrow and second player with green arrow, and when clicked on this arrow , it turned 90 degrees and all other arrows in this direction changed on its color. All arrows was quiet 100x100 and goal was to gain a larger color area than second player. And it had a lot of levels easy, medium and hard :)

Probably not even worth a mention, but...
You sure it's not Dragon Warrior IV? Important items included flying shoes. Though you'd probably remember if the game was turn-based. And party-based.

Hi there guys.

I am new to this forum but I am looking for a/some game(s) REALLY BADLY. You remember the Polish "Play" company? (this one: http://www.gamefaqs.com/company/174151-play-publishing or http://www.play-publishing.com/ ). So,they released a game called "Bug Mania" and I had one that had two CDs,one with the Bug Mania game and a other one,and that's the one I am looking for. I know it has a game like there were Adam and Eve (like kids) and you needed to use rainbows to quickly go up the level cause there was a flood if you took too long. And others like a demo version of a game in which you were using a purple guy to push crates around and stuff like that.

I think I have the CD somewhere over at my house but I can't find it and I don't think I will and I am desperate already as I still have Bug Mania ( http://www.gry-online.pl/S016.asp?ID=10167 but instead of the games icons down there,I have there:(from left to right) "MAX GAME" logo,Caveman Adventures,Tattoo Studio and a Czech translation of: "3 Full Games") so if anyone has it,can someone please upload a ISO of it somewhere? I hope it's not piracy or something but I am from Slovakia so the postage would be expensive.

I hope someone still has it :/ I am not really sure if it was with Bug Mania or separate but we always had them in the same cover (CD cover) and my brother also told me they were together (I don't really remember it as my dad bought it when I was younger).

Thanks and sorry for the long text, but I hope somebody will understand and help me find it,again,THANKS :)

Ok so finding this game has been bugging me for a really long time! I'll try and give as much info as possible.

* Background: I was playing this game around the same time as Descent and Doom, etc. so I'm thinking it might have been MS-DOS possibly.
* System: PC, either DOS or Win 95
* Year: mid to late-90's
* Perspective: Top down view, could move ship/plane up, down, left or right to navigate around walls and corridors, etc.
* Art style: Dark color pallet, fairly detailed for it's time
* Environment: Kinda fuzzy on this but I'd guess space/space hangars or futuristic military bases?
* Mood: Sci-fi/serious
* Genre: Shooter
* Gameplay: You choose and then pilot a ship or plane that is always on the ground (like it's taxiing everywhere lol) and your ship has weapons to destroy other ground targets which varied in size. When you press an arrow key, your plane faces and then travels that direction, so this rules out any game such as Solar Striker and Gradius etc. Again you were always on the ground and I remember getting lost in some of the levels because they were almost maze-like and rather large.

Hope that helps!
