That was it!!! All came back to me once I read the name. Thank you so much for finding that, was looking for that name all last week. You deserve some sort of game treasure hunting medal for your service in this thread. Thanks again, I really appreciate it!diablo rules said:1.- might beakaCitizenSnips said:Hey everyone,
I have been reading through this thread slowly and can't believe all the classic games I used to play listed in here, but there are a few that I still just cannot remember the names of...
1.) A PC game, probably from the late 90's, it was sort of an isometric viewpoint with the camera changing when you would go to different areas, was set in a mostly modern, but somewhat dark and slightly futuristic cyberpunk-like city, I am not sure if I had the full game or just a demo, but I remember having a character that sort of looked like Neo with the trenchcoat and all in a parking garage and would walk out onto a dark city street and these two cyberpunk gun men would chase after you depending on which way you went and I remember I could never get away from them, it had a free-roaming sort of vibe but I never got that far in it to truly know.
2.) Another PC game, probably mid-late 90's, it was sort of a top-down RTS with RPG elements like picking up loot and controlling more of a single group of fairly generic warriors/mages/rangers rather than building bases or anything like that and each group member had their own inventory and I remember fighting orcs on grassy terrain with wooden fences/palisades and campfires at the start and saving a few more characters who join you and I think you could do little quests and such, I remember the graphics leaning a little more cartoony and vibrant (sort of like Warcraft II, but zoomed into the map a bit more and the colors were definitely brighter).
I found the other two out, was Dark Rift (3D N64 fighter) and Killer Instinct Gold (2D N64 Fighter) with human torch looking character.
Thanks so much for any help on figuring out what these couple games are named, I really appreciate any suggestions!
