I remember anow old computer game where you were explorers on an alien ship, or planet, and you had to find these crystal rods, and at one point find these green pill things to revive a comrade. Anyone?

I remember playing this PS1 game, I think it was an adventure game mixed with a bit of RPG. There was a boy and a girl, the boy could kill the monsters with meele atacks and then the monsters would drop a coin with their face in it, and if you used that you could transform into the monster. I remember a level where there was ice blocking the path so you had to become some sort of salamander that could breathe fire to melt the ice. The girl used 2 round things on her hands to cast magic. I also remember this snowy town where you could challange a weird guy to a duel .-. Aside from that I can't really discribe it very well because my memory of this game is kinda fuzzy because I was really young, so I would appreciate any help you can give :D I'm not very sure of it but I think the boy had a house and lived alone and you could sleep and eat in it. Somehow when I think of this game it reminds me of Radiata Stories.
The game is Threads of Fate perhaps

I'm looking for a game that's 8+ years old.
It was this 3d game with characters that sort of reminded me of the ones from Code Lyoko. You either had to defend or obtain an orb that was resting on a stand. Elements seemed to be associated with the game, and I think there was an evil empress or mother that wanted to rule the land (I might be remembering incorrectly though). I do remember when playing multiplayer mode there was this character with a pixie cut and maybe pink hair with the electric element/lightning element that I liked to play. She looked like Aelita from Code Lyoko. Another character was either a male or female with long black hair and a sword or two swords.
I think the game was on the psp but I'm not sure.

I remember playing a game 10+ years ago(that's when I played it...maybe it came out a few years earlier). You were in some sort of creepy alien planet and there were big spiders and weird trees that looked like big mushrooms. Can't know for sure if it was first person or third person.
That's all the details I can remember. Oh, and I played on PC.
Any hint you might give me would be much appreciated.

The last one is an old puzzle horrer game. You start as a boy in a warped vision of his house as you run around trying to solve puzzles to escape from (I believe a dream/nightmare.) Early on you can venture outside where there was pumpkin enemies (couldn't kill them when I played) and another building you could walk in where you found your sister was much smaller and trapped in a bird cage. The ground seemed to have small path ways that only she could travel through. I know this game used a CD to play, In my search I thought it might be sega cd/saturn or ps1 but I can't figure it out.
Nightmare Ned?

Looking for an older RTS, a friend was playing it around 2006 or 2007? All I remember was there was a desert map, Some sort of crystal things, and was 3d. It looked pretty new at the time, graphics wise. Sorry, I can't really remember much else.

Hello! One of the games you are looking for is "No.5" and information about the series can be found here:

http://jayisgames.com/review/3wish-adventure.php

If you just want to play it again, i have found the game in this page:

http://www.purely-games.com/ufo_escape_game.html

Have fun with the nostalgia =)

Thank you, that's the one, thank you for the links

I've found tree of them at http://www.freegameshype.com/search-games.aspx?q=No.+5

If you know where to play the 4th one (this one http://jayisgames.com/review/no-5-part-4.php ) i'd be thankful since the 3wish website doesn't work and game can't be played from there ;_;

I'll keep searching and if i find where to play that one, i'll edit and post here.

This forum is huge and someone may have already asked about this, but I'm going to try anyway:

It was an old pc game. The theme was loosely this...that aliens had mixed up dna of animals and you were trying to get them back together with the alien technology. It was an animal breeding game, but instead of breeding two animals, you put three animals in a machine that would make three new animals. The goal was to make them back into whole original animals like a lobster, hippo, elephant, etc. So when mixing the three animals, if they had two of the same animal part (eg. two had an elephant head and the third would be a lobster), all three animals would come out with a predictable head (the elephant's) because the majority of the genetics took over. You never got the whole animal on the first try but you tried to breed away the odd animal parts to get to a whole animal that all was the same type.

The play style was 2d set up like a puzzle where you had the rejects you were trying to fix in tubes and you had a separate station to do the mixing/"breeding". You were timed and you kept getting more and more rejects to work with (like when you keep getting tetris pieces in Tetris) until the game fills up the spaces and can no longer maneuver the animals to breed them.

I don't even remember if I played this online or if it came with a bundle disc I bought a long, long time ago. I no longer have the pc I played it on, so I have no idea where to start. Google wasn't much help because it is hard to narrow the search terms and still get an accurate description of the game I'm looking for. Thanks for any help that will come.

My guess would be LucasArts' The Dig [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGzX_7ZN8_U].

There was a strategy game - I think it was released in 2012 or thereabouts.

The graphics were kind of cartooney.

Basically the premise was you had to create an army to destroy the NPC armies below they came and destroyed you, but you had to create a city/village and gather resources that were used to make goods that were used in turn to create other goods and to build up the army.

I know this isn't the best description, I just don't recall a lot beyond loving it.

It was a game where you both could relax, but also needed to think strategically so you weren't overthrown.

The graphics were very vibrant and enticing, and the characters had very cute qualities to them.

I vaguely recall one of the goods stores being a bakery and making bread - but really that's about all.

I don't know if I've given enough info, but I'm hoping.

Hello, when I young I used to play cool 3d RTS(probably) game. Year 2000's game I think.I got it from gaming newspaper. Kind of Medieval age. The game had really cool design targeted to childrens. You could built there towers and recruit knights to fight monsters. These monsters were cute I remeber. On the top of map there were mountains and there were some big monsters which you must slay. I would really appriciate if you could help me with name of the game.

OMG yes thank you! And while I'm here there is another old pc game I can't remember. It was a first person mideval game, the graphics were very old and the characters didn't have faces but there was one elf chick you had to help find her father and later down the road you find her dead in the dirt (I think in a labrynth?)

the characters without face makes me think in some of the King's Field series

King's Field (1994)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5KvrbZvmMw

or

King's Field II (1996)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UDJLBiWTr4

but they are only for the original Playstation...

Have tried looking for it everywhere but so far nothing:

planets in title screen
resource gathering
floating islands
flying monsters
different races(all were alien)
late 90s pc game maybe early 00s?
rts
dark mystical fantasy theme
pre rendered graphics <- not sure about this one
not starcraft, I think had side view or at some other angle

Sadly it is not Nightmare Ned, the game was a very clean Pixelated style, and unless I'm recalling incorrectily, not a drawn style like Nightmare Ned.
