Hey all, I've been having issues trying to work out what this game was that I played years ago on my old 486. - I played this in the mid to late 90's, but the game could have been older.
I can't remember much, but here's the things I can remember.
1. It was a 3D Space Shooter. (Not a 2D Scroller)
2. Pre-Rendered CG Cutscenes. - Before mission, this alien? was talking to your character, telling him what the mission is about. (NO VOICE AUDIO, the game had Midi SFX and Music Only) - The Cutscene was just generic repetitive mouth movements, with the words appearing as subtitles. At the start of the mission your character walks to his ship, and takes off.
3. Player's Character. - from the cutscenes, he was Human? and I think he wore a yellow or orange shirt, a grey? Helmet and he had ENORMOUS boots.
4. The Ship. - It was White or Grey, Cone shaped. No Wings. It had a Long thin Cone at the front, with a large fat cone at the rear. The ship was wider than it was tall.
For a rough idea, I've done a bad sketch in MS Paint of the shape of the ship, Side-on.

I could try to make a 3D version of this in Sketchup later if you think it would help?
Any ideas? I've been banging my head against google Image results for a while now with no luck.
:::EDIT:::
After sleeping a bit, I remembered a bit more of how the ship looked, (And I worked out why I was a little unsure of its shape)
In the cutscenes, the ship (One-man fighter sised) was always smooth and oval shaped.
In the gameplay, it was very angular. (Obviously, because computers back then couldn't do a round ship)
I've hand-drawn a few sketches of the ship, with some notes attached. (my handwriting is crap)

I remember that the Engine Exhaust, at the centre of the rear end, had a red glow, and what I assume is the engine intake also had a red glow about it.
I believe it also had a retractable landing gear. (One at front, two in the rear - Struts, not wheels.)
