Hi. There is this old ps1 game I'm pretty sure it was set really futuristic and you erode around on an ATV I believe going into caves fighting either robots or monsters. I can't remember to much but I'm pretty sure it was about searching ancient ruins.
Could it have been Blaster Master: Blasting Again?

Hi. I am looking for a game, please helpa me:

* Background: I played it year about 2001-2004 or something. Yes, I was using windows 98 then. The game I am looking for is 3D, 3rd person, puzzle, platformer(for example area like small island or structure or platform, around which there is water), character was some sort of animal or something...? maybe something like a penguin, player controls the character, you can make push the boxes around, walk, maybe jump...?, and , this is important, graphics was actually good, the weather was different from level to level, rainy, snowy, sunny.... on snowy days the character was wearing scarf maybe...?
* System: Windows 98
* Year:about 2001-2004
* Perspective: 3D game, 3rd person
* Art style: this is important, graphics was actually good, the weather was different from level to level, rainy, snowy, sunny.... on snowy days the character was wearing scarf maybe...?
* Environment: Kinda like small island or something, or some structure surrounded by water
* Mood: mostly like happy mood, puzzle solving.
* Genre: puzzle based, i remember pushing boxes around and stuff
* Gameplay: i remember having second character, which you could also control, with teamwork the puzzle could be solved.

Please, help me to find this game !!!

Could I get some help? Seeing gameplay of Yooka-Laylee got me thinking of a game I played when I was, like, six. I can't exactly remember if it was on the OG Xbox or PS2, but I remember playing as a couple of little creatures trying to escape a laboratory. I think it would be classified as a puzzle platformer, and one of the only things I'm remembering mechanics-wise was that the bigger creature would take the smaller one and use him to interact with the environment, like jamming him into spinning gears to open up doors. I know it's not ALOT to go off of, but if anyone remembers the name of this game, I can die happy. :3

Been looking for this game off and on for a few years, this is the first time I've come across this forum, so maybe someone here can help.

Game was a sort of exploration game for the mac, a historical/educational thing set in the age of exploration. The parts of it I remember were sailing around the coast of Africa, occasionally sending parties ashore, trading, etc.

The game had voice, and I can specifically remember when you'd end a trade or something, one of the phrases t would say was "Vaya con Dios."

I unfortunately don't remember the maker, but it was early-mid 90s (somewhere in the range 92-95?).
Bump, and to add, it was on CD.

Hey,Guys.
I played this game about 15ish years ago.
It wasn't for neither PC/Xbox/PS , i had it on a cartridge.
The game played like Dragon Quest(Warrior) 3 but the difference is that every time you enter combat you'd see your active character and the enemy you're fighting , just like in Pokemon (not like in Final Fantasy Series).
Other things that might be helpful are - you had a main character , but you walked around with your squad (just like in dragon quest 3).
I remember this bigass castle, and at one point of the game there was a fight in front of the castle near a bridge or something.
I think (might not be true) the game started at the castle but you could roam around the world freely(game wasn't limited to the castle only).
Mmm, I remember one of the characters was an archer and i'm pretty sure your main character used a sword and was male , possibly a teenager.
The game was turn-based.

Just a shot in the dark, but maybe one of the early Shining Force games?

I used to play time game around 2004 on PC. It was a goblin-like creature mining underground eating garlic (and making a noise whenever it did) and finding gold and stuff. I also remember using a lot of stones to kill dragons. As the game progressed the goblin would go deeper and the game would get harder. The starting menu of the game featured the creature and a big pot with something brewing inside.

It must have been fifteen years ago at least. It was a 3D game (with very cartoonish graphics) where you could wander around this city and rob buildings. Very puzzle-based, with guards that followed a prescribed path. If I remember correctly, you'd record your moves, then play it forward and see if your plan worked. Anyone remember this one? It's been bugging the hell out of me and I don't remember quite enough to pin down the name. The game was for the PC.

Platform(s): PC

Genre: Action

Estimated year of release: Between 2000 and 2006

Graphics/art style: Sidescrolling, as far as I remember the textures and graphics were somewhat polished, including the enemies and the protagonist.

Whenever you move, if there was terrain in the background, it would also move according to your movement. (didnt think otherwise m8)
Whenever a missile hit the water, the water would splash. Other explosions had neat particle effects, other projectiles were great too. Especially missiles. The water would also wobble when projectiles hit it.

The games is also slow paced, so you could have enough time to react to incoming projectiles.
Do NOT confuse it with a generic Shoot 'Em Up game! (Like Jets'nGuns), the game would allow you to move back and forth (If you had a vessel that can move).

Notable characters: Playable characters (In the demo/trial) are: A small gunboat, and a defensive platform with anti air defenses. The enemy had at their disposal the following as far as I can remember - Purple(?) colored B-1 look-alike bomber that shoots missiles?, and fighter jets. There would be way more, but that's as far as I can remember.

Notable gameplay mechanics: I think you can play as aircraft, since I only had the trial version, I could only play as a gunboat and a defense platform (Oil rig w/ turrets?).

Also, there were roman letters (I, II, III...) in the HUD, which I'm guessing that it indicates weapon upgrades or something like that.

The game is mainly about shooting down enemy aircraft. Also, it is VERY similar to the now Early Access "All Guns on Deck" game on Steam, but only with the consecutive combat.

Since I had the demo version, the first level was an ocean which you had to destroy all the enemies (?) which included light bombers, fighters, etc... the second level however, was arctic with glaciers in the background but I couldn't play it because after a few seconds it asked for a serial code.

Other details: The game is set in modern era. For its time (~2006), explosion effects, particles, projectiles, and general graphics were very neat.

I've been looking for this game desperately for years now. I would be very happy to find it. Thanks!

It's a galactic fps from PC around 2000 where the soldiers (NPC) had a generalized face as if they were angry and the only part I remember is that you enter a temple with one of them and you find that it is full of explosives, then you ran away from there and begins a journey where you are killing dinosaurs crossing areas like jungle and temples and the final part of the demo ends with you enter to a small platform where you find a species of Diplodocus

Please help me, I have been searching for this game since I was 10 D:

So I played this game once where I think you play as a car. The game is 2D. You travel to a hell dimension with like 10 levels with the level numbers written in roman numerals. The hell place looks like it's made of meat. Old meat. I remember the game also has many strange things made of meat that are stuck to the ground and attack you like giant tentacles (I think)

I can't remember the name of the game!!!! I remember that I rented it so many times, I could have bought 5 copies of it. I would like to challenge you to help me out!!!!

It was an action RPG for ps1
You could play as one of two characters,
A boy with a sword, or girl with circular blades,
I remember going through a lot of dungons, tunnels, and fight a lot of bosses. One of the first ones were like wolves.
There were also a lot of different creatures of all sorts of sizes and colors. Some skeletons and such.
There was also a rainbow/sky world with different minigames and time trials. Also mushroom houses with cute little people in them.
The language was all mumbo jumbo but had subtitles.
A lot to deal with Grim and death. But you had to go world to world
Rated E, KA, possibly T but I don't think teen or else I wouldn't rent it at the time. It was around 2001 or earlier. 97?
Best of luck!!! I can't think of it for the life of me!! And THANK YOU FOR THIS THRED!!!

Hi, i have been reading this thread and decided to jump on the bandwagon and hope for the best.
My dad gave us this game on a cd, i have no idea where he even got it from. I remember playing it around the year 2000 as well.
In the introduction to the game the hero's (who you play as) dad is kidnapped by some evil/magical man/being. The quest is to rescue him. You then start in the jungle, fighting off animals and insects and moving through tarzan-ish obstacles. Thats just the first level, they are quite short levels and i remember there being about 20. The other i can recall are a waterfall, a old underground mine and a mayan ruin. There is gold to collect and some of the few weapons i remember is some kind of wip and a boomerang.
I could never finish this game as a kid, and would love to give it another go as an adult!
If anyone as any ideas - please let me know. Much appreciated.

Hello. I used to play this game back in like 2006. You could create a character boy or girl that you could dress in armor. There were giant spider creatures you had to fight. It also had stuff you could collect that could heal you etc.It was on some sort of console. I can't remember what kind. Thanks!

Hello. I played a mafia or gang crime spree online multiplayer game on my desktop PC some years back. Lost that computer, & been looking for that game for years now. Can't remember name of it though. You could rob banks, store fronts, attack other mobs, assist people on the streets to earn good deeds. You could make barber shops & other stores pay protection money. You would also get busted, & wait out your time, bribe someone, or have your guild/alliance members bust you out of jail. You could chat with the other jail bird in jail too, & see what crimes everyone was in jail for. Not a 1st person view game. Gave you an aerial view. Thought it had the word Street in the name. Look at map, & you see tons of storefront's to rob & bribe, different city's, & other online players. New players had a protection bubble for a few days I think. It had really colorful graphics. Does this game sound familiar to anyone?

There was another I also played. Your characters had a black mask like a raccoon. It was also a thief robbing crime game. Can't remember much about this one though, sorry.

If anyone remembers this game, that would be awesome. Sure would like to play it again, but it may have been closed. Thanks for this board, & any help any may have. 😎

Street Wars? (AKA Mob Rule)

I mean, if it's not Gangsters: Organized Crime

Not sure when the game was made but Im positive it was on an old demo disc probably from PC gamer. The game was either an over the shoulder or a first person game I cant remember. You could play different campaigns, one was a demon I think and each level had hidden treasures you could collect. You fight the other races from the campaign in each level and you could use melee weapons specific to the race and maybe range or magic too I cant remember. Some of the treasure required platforming. Sorry I couldnt be more descriptive.
