Hello there!
I'm searching for a game, that i played like 8-10 years ago. If I'm right it was on the Y8 platform, or some similar, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
It was a point click "horror game", but it wasn't scary. (It didn't have jumpscares in it etc.)
So it started with a man, driving to a house in a storm and in the night, but that isn't the point, it was like an intro or something.
He arrived, and entered to the house. From that point, you had to search for items in several rooms, like cellar, loft, kitchen and etc. The first room was the hall, there was an image on the wall at the back, and a staircase at the right of the screen. If you went upstairs, there was 2 or 3 doors there, and a lion statue (or tiger, but I think it was a lion). One of the doors next to the statue was locked.
I remember that, in the basement there was water intrusion, and i found a piece of a blue cable there. I could use it on a boiler, or on an electric meter, i can't remember that.
You could go to the "garden", but there was only an entrance of a sewer there. It is interesting, because there was a part 2 of this game, which was in a sewer, but it has the same method.
Through the searching, you couldn't see your character, and you couldn't move the screen. You could go to other rooms, by clicking on the doors. And usually if you clicked on some importand object, then the game zoomed to it.
If it helps, it had an intro, with some newspapers dropping to the top of each other.
I'm searching for this game for a long time now, i hope somebody can help me...
Thanks for your time!

Hi
I've been searching for a game for years I can't remember much but I think it was for sega mega drive or master system in the early 90s .I think it was a rpg kind of game where one of the towns you go to was either cursed or poisoned and I think all the people in the town were ghosts and I remember that if you enter the town you would start losing hp and die

I may of dreamed this bit but I think you had to be evil or dead to visit some towns that you couldn't visit otherwise without dying
I think you also had a boat you used to get to certain parts of the world
Thanks for any help
I take it no one knows the game It may not of been on a Sega console
I'm now starting to think it doesn't exist and I imagined it
Thanks
Just reposting so hopefully someone can help

That does ring a bell somewhere in the back of my mind, but I can't quite place it.

Probably a very long shot, since I think the details don't quite match, but... maybe Ultima IV [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQj3AQG0Egw] for the Master System?

Otherwise, the only other RPG I can recall on a Sega console that may have had mechanics like that is Might & Magic II [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIR1mPzggaE] on the Genesis.

EDIT: Having given it some more thought... aside from the "evil" thing, because they were JRPGs - maybe one of the Phantasy Star games?

Hey, I'm trying to remember the name of this one game I remember. It was a 3rd person game where I think you played as a secret agent. In one of the first levels, you started in a completely white and blank room in a giant building that looked to be an office building, and had to climb up a wall and reach the ledge to get to the door to the next room. I remember it being really difficult, and I kept dying where you were in a lower room and had to escape/kill a guy with an OP flamethrower in a dark, mucky room with a lot of fire spewing pipes or something. It was on the PS2. I vaguely remember it and remember trading it in at GameStop for a low price. I think you could occasionally get a weapon, but you mainly had to escape, and the enemies were hard to kill, especially when they came in groups. Please help!

Hey guys if someone can tell me the name of this game I would be very grateful.
It is an old PC game between Windows 98-2002 maybe older and it is a 2d side scrolling style game. On the first level you start off in a city with tall buildings and there are 'pink' maggots that jump up to bite you. You have a gun and can shoot them closer range and you can also get limited powerups like green and blue grenades and long shot red beams. The blue grenades would move back and forth the screen hitting enemies multiple times. You can enter the building through doors or some broken windows. On all levels there were humanoid monsters that tried to attack you. One of the levels between 2-5 is a forest and on the ground the the grass is high so you can't see the maggots... And there are other creatures in the trees. You can jump on top of the tree branches. At the very top right I believe you can rescue a women and the door is electrically blocked and you have to disable the electricity to continue.
On level 6 i believe there is a giant red head boss with 2 hands that you have to defeat. And I believe when you destroy his head there is some sort of item in the middle. I think level 7 is a lava based level where you have to move up to the top but the blocks will fall down after about 1 sec. On the 8th level I think you get a little golden robot who floats and follows you and shoots whenever you do. On this level other enemy robots fall from the sky with parachutes.
On the 13th level I believe you find a mad scientist in a white lab coat who turns into a blue o green monster that I remember looked like a giant frog with no eyes.
Please help me remember this game.

OKAY. Someone help me out here. I literally created an account for this.
I can't remember if it was just a demo or if it even got made into a game. But its killing me!
There was a game where you could had to choose one of two characters! One was a girl knight on top of a horse (and you couldn't get off of the horse) Or you played a Native american boy.
So the demo started out (no matter who you chose to play as) these knights came through this native american village. The girl was on top of her horse and there were these two native american boys standing there watching the knights. And one of them takes off running at the girl with a hatchet in his hand, gun ho ready to kill her. But then you see her horse like raise up and it flashes back to ther other native american boy who is laying on the ground dead and he runs up to his friend shaking him, trying to wake him up. Then after this scene is over you run around the village (trying to do god knows what). That is literally all I remember from the game. Someone help me. I know that is not a lot to work on, but i'm racking my brain around dumb founded that I can't think of this game! I googled it every way possible and nothing.

I think that's Suikoden 3 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3XyEvwV6d4&list=PLWCpPDsEHE-wa5GKb11yxbj3qRP_vedr-&index=8] (check at 21:40 in the video for the boy getting killed). The scene isn't exactly the same as what you said, because I think the version you saw was a flashback of the event from later in the game, while the video I linked is just when it happens. =)

Hello guys! Im searching for a game that I played 10-15 years ago...

- the game was about a yellow and red submarine
- when you start the stage/the game a guys talks something to you, then enter in the submarine and the stage begons
- the entire game is played in a single background, you finish each stage and the background never changes(
- you control the submarine using the arrow keys and u can shoot to the left, right, to the top of you and if you collect something u can drop something that looks like a petrol barrell;
- The game looks so much like "in the hunt", but without the changes of background, time limit, literally LOOKS like;
- After tou finish each stage, the guy that controls the submarine, emerges and talk something with you, then go back down the sea.(i dont remember what he talks because i played this game when i was very young and english isn't my main language.

I hope u guys can help me, im looking for this game since a week and i didnt find it!

HEY GUYS! SEND HELP ASAP! I'm going mental over my inability to remember this game title.

- I played this game about 10-15 years ago.

- CD ROM inserted which had a variety of miscellaneous games available

- One of the games involved choosing an NFL/Football routine where you could select as many team players and cheerleaders you wanted to be on the field, and select a movement routine for each character. For example, the cheerleaders had the option of waving their pompoms or doing flips in the air. Once you were happy with the way the routine looked, you would press the Play button and the characters would act according to the moves you gave them.
This game was a pixelated animation that included music and sound effects.

- Another game from the CD was a board that was set up, with a variety of tools down the side of the screen (on the right). The tools included a paint brush, eraser, mop (to make the board "greasy/ slippery"), etc. You could edit the board using these tools. There would be a marble looking ball that would drop onto the screen and move around the board depending on how you edited it.

I know the way I've described the games sound really random but if you've ever played this cd you'll know exactly what games I'm talking about!

Looking forward to some peace of mind!

Steenz

So back when I was a kid (early 2000s) I remember this game with a brother and sister. They found and collected computer bugs to trap the villain with either a cage or a net. One of the bugs was a like an upside an L rotated twice (either clockwise or counter clockwise doesn't matter) and it had a tounge that you had to hit to make the platform fall. Help me please.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums, simply from trying to figure out an old computer game I use to play, and found this thread!!

It's an old computer game, fantisy based, the main part about the game I remember is you could send heroes on a quest, there was a failure chance if they failed they died, if they succeeded they came back leveled up and with a magical item. The quests, you had no control over other than a failure chance, meaning you could choose to not send them on a quest due to a high failure chance. Then the other part of the game was when you attacked another castle the game mode would change from like an economy type environment to a battle field, where you attacked a castle. The heroes you sent in quests in the other screen were not the people you controlled, otherwise you have regular troops I.E. archers, and fighters because. If I remember correctly, it was a top view during battles, your mages threw fireballs, and the warriors obviously just had a sword. There might have been other hero types, but I can't remember them. I'm think a possibility of theif, archer or elf, but again can't be sure on those.

Hope this is enough information. Oh yeah also we are talking around the year of 1995ish when I was playing this game.

Thanks for all of your help in advance!!

Hello!

I'm trying to remember a fantasy game which have the gimmick of controlling the sword movements with the mouse. You could block and direct at what angel to block, dragging your mouse back and fourth also moved the sword. For special moves, drag the mouse in a certain way (like a circle, or spiderweb).
Could also shot with a slingshot.

It was in third-person, but not fixed behind the character. It could be from the side or from behind at a angel.

It's pretty old, could be 20years now.
Die by the Sword?
