Hello,
unfortunately I have very few memories of the arcade game I'm trying to remember: it was a 2d platform with horizontal scroll and the main character was a tiny girl wearing a cloak and using as weapon a sort of "blue flames" that at the very beginning were a short single shot, but proceeding with the game became three or four in a row with a much longer range. I used to play it in a bar around 1990 (let's say from 1988 to 1992).
Any chance with it?

Thank you very much!!

Hi all!!.

Im looking for a PC game released between 1998 to 2002 for windows. Its a spaceship game that involves fighting inside your own computer, you have to recover the files that are infected in the computer, and you have to do it all along your "files" the game takes the name of your folders and you have to go inside the computer "space" to recover them. In the way you have fight this other ships and you can form alliances with some of them. all I remember is that you can either get "friends" and "enemies" along the game.

You play the game with a 3th person view from the top of the ships. And there are special occasions where you encounter black "holes" that let you fight a special boss that sort of lets you continue discovering and having "power ups".

Please HELP!!!!

hi! i'm looking for the name of a game i played up until i was about 9 or 10 (until about 2006, 2007). it was kind of an adventure game. this teenage boy had to solve clues/puzzles (scrambled words, number codes) in order to save his friends from the mob (i think). if any of that sounds familiar, please let me know! idk if it makes a difference, but i played them on the big iMac computers at my old catholic school.

thank you!

Trying again here :]

Looking for a PC game with the following details:
- Racing game
- Played it on Windows 98 (or something as old as that) back in 2001-2002
- CD case had the name, a red dog in the corner (part of the creator logo maybe), and a yellow background
- Top-down view
- View follows the car (can also change to full view to track the other cars)
- Option of 8 cars to select (4 F1s + 4 Stock cars)(colors: white w/ red stripe, yellow w/ black stripe, red w/ white stripe, full black)
- Car parts can be customized before racing (e.g. tyres, engine, etc.)
- The NPC cars are given realistic names and profile pics when the race begins
- Track involves 2 lanes and a pitstop beside the starting zone

Gameplay:
- Races have 4 cars
- Just press 'up' to drive and 'left/right' to swap lanes
- Fuel gauge indicates when to visit the pitstop
- Entering the pitstop is a bit difficult and requires good timing. Also, limited spots at the pitstop (I recall 3)
- [IMPORTANT] As the cars lose fuel, they start shaking more, losing traction, and slowing down. Typically one of the NPC cars may keep missing the pitstop and will drive incredibly slow whilst shaking a lot!
- Yellow-Black F1 car is an unlockable car
- [IMPORTANT] Similar to slot cars, when driving around bends, the cars will slide, as if pivoting about a single point. If you drive too fast, you'll slide off the track and be repositioned after a while

I'd appreciate if anyone knew anything about this game as it was pretty funzies

There are a few possibilities, but I'd guess it was Willow [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LumZP0rpoDM].

I remember reading tests to "Virus: The Game" (1997) where you fought inside the directory tree of your HDD.
It was Descent-clone though, so FPS rather.

I'm sorry but I need your help. It's been a long time since I was looking for a game that I played when I was smaller at least before 2012 and after 2007 but I have only vague memory, according to what I Deduced it was a similar game to Prince of Persia (1989) for the gameplay and Lemmings for some graphics but and in space I believe with teleporters and I remember that I had found it on flash game sites so if you could help me find it I'll be very grateful.

Alright, I'm going to try here. I'm looking for this either Ps1 or Ps2 game. It's this weird sort of 3d fighting game thing, but it had platforming sometimes? The camera wasn't typical for fighting games, it was zoomed out, and either top-down or isometric or something. It had free movement in all directions and a jump button. All of the characters had a more cartoony look with more chibi like proportions IIRC, with the game textures not trying to be realistic at all. I don't remember the combat really being complex. Or at least, I don't remember thinking through a strategy with it. There might have been like two attack buttons and some kind of special move, but I can't really remember. The game kind of seemed like it could have been shovel ware thinking back, but I'm not confident in saying that until I see it. I don't remember it having that big of a roster of playable characters.

I remember there's this sort of bonus / side stage where you're in this closed up tower and you're jumping from platform to platform upward trying to keep ahead of the rising water level until you reach the top. And there's another stage where you're on this sailing ship, I think on the deck. It had grey metal walls and wooden flooring I think. Here I think you were fighting with other CPU fighters or maybe generic enemies or something. However there's these walls everywhere in this grid pattern, making a bunch of identically shaped square rooms. I think you might have been initially blocked off from others rooms, and you had to defeat enemies to open up the paths to other squares or something, but I might be wrong about that. I'm super hazy with my memory here, so forgive me. I'm pretty sure the game does have a way to have up to 4 players fight each other though, and I think that WAS the focus. I think those two levels that I remember might have been later in the game, like mid-way through it. I also remember the character's HUDs being along either the top or bottom of the screen, and it was just a simple health bar or something.

The thing I remember the most about this game though is... well, my mom made me take it back. I had rented it at a block buster. It still had like 2 or 3 days left. It was the only time in my life she made me not play something anymore because she thought it was too violent and extreme for me at the time. Like she was fine letting me play Mortal Combat 3 on the SNES. I... don't remember it being all that violent or extreme, and I didn't think it was at the time. I don't particularly remember is being super bloody either. I think it might have been either like the presentation, or the characters themselves were extremely vulgar with how they did things.

Other than that.... I think there was this stage that was really orange? It was like a straightforward, open arena for people to fight each other in. Idk I'm really stretching my memory now, I don't have anything else. If anyone could help me find this thing I would REALLY appreciate it, even if it's just a spitball of a suggestion. I never saw it ever again after that rental, and I certainly don't hear anyone talk about it. And I tried checking my old memory cards to see if I had save data of it but I didn't.

Thank you Midwoka, but definetely it was not. The graphic was much more "delicate" and the colors were more pastel.

Any other ideas?

Thank youuuu!!!!!

I'm looking for an adventure game from the mid 00s. Gameplay-wise it was a typical point-and-click adventure with lots of walking, puzzles, etc. It had a very unique visual style and world design though, with a dark and surreal atmosphere. It was set either on a space station or on an alien planet, and the protagonist looked sort of like Darth Vader with a big mask and a bulky figure. He had some brothers who looked like him, but they had different masks, and iirc one (or all?) of them died at the beginning, and that's where the game started. Almost everything in the game was black and white, with very few exceptions (I think blood was yellow), and it kind of looked like a comic book, or a very minimalistic cartoon.

Many years ago I remember a flash game on I think Newgrounds or Kongregate?

You played as a chibi animal with pointy ears (I remember a fox but I could be wrong) with a customizable color and extra unlockable colors available.
You collected weapons, including a cute wand with a star on the end.
The main screen was a level selection map.
It was sidescrolling and 2D, where you could walk toward big static monsters in the dungeons and enter a fight with them (You could only move horizontally, there was only one platform and that was the ground itself). They were put at set intervals in the levels. Fights gave you three buttons at the bottom of the screen, lined horizontally; Fight, Defend, and Flee.

The final level was atop the clouds, with a night sky and stone columns.
One of the earlier levels had to do with a crystal cave and a beach at the beginning of the level.

Hi everyone!
Like many of you I've been looking for this game for years and it's driving me mad, so here's what I remember:

- It was a very old PC detective game that I played around 20 years ago, it was very colourful
- Point-and-click
- I remember the main interface as the detective's office, where you could either call witnesses or go visit them to ask them questions. I kind of remember some sort of checklist and a notepad during the conversations with the witnesses. You could also call a cab and head to one of the several places available. There were objects in those places, I have a vivid memory of a Poodle, and one of the places was Carnegie Hall. I think there was also a Pink Flamingo but I'm not sure.

I think the game was kind of Art related, like the detective had to figure out what piece of art or object was stolen, and get to the right destination using the informations given by the witnesses... maybe?

It's largely inspired by Carmen Sandiego somehow, but it's not that, the graphics were more recent, 2D and very colorful, and the destinations were not countries, more like locations in the city, or specific locations in different cities. "Miami" also keeps popping up but I'm not sure why...

Please help! I can't get it out of my mind!
Reposting this just in case!

Hey guys, posting this on here because I've been desperately trying to find this game for years now. I used to play this pic game during around 2005-2006, and I think it was about a mad scientist being attacked by Pygmy colonies? It was a really weird game and you basically had to run from these cartoon pygmies and each Pygmy had a different appearance and a different weapon/ability that came with it.

Hopefully I'm making sense lol

Ok I'm gonna try and describe the game, It was at least 15 years ago.
I think I had a Win98 system (Game for PC :p)
Main Character was male, blond, his grandpa was Kidnapped by someone evil cant really remember too well.
You started off in a house at the top of the mountain and you had to turn on power or something I think the 'Skyride' broke down and had to repair it.
It was a cartoon style graphics kinda similar to Monkey Island or Deponia games.
Also a quick note, This was in Poland but I don't think the game was designed there.
Really hope someone can help me figure out this game, it's been bugging me for years as I cannot find the CD.

There's a PS1 games which i played like 15 years ago.
It's a side-scrolling games which you control a robot fighting enemies robot
In the end of each stage, you fight with a boss and after that, u got an ANIMAL pet.
You can summon the animal part to attach it to your robot for a short time and get a new skill/abilities with that. I remeber there's a horse/unicorn, a lion and some others animal that i cant remember.
