Posting again because I never got an answer 600 pagers ago.
I played this either on Win 2000 or very early XP, alongside asteroids and chip's challenge, and with the dancing baby/mortal kombat techno theme screensaver. It was a 2d sidescroller/platformer with puzzley stuff. You were some guy/kind that went to a factory, run by the antagonist, that made robots or something. In the factory were orange and maybe other colored chests/crates with items, and the layout was kinda mase-like, with you having to find your way through. The main point of searching the factory was to collect items to then take an elevator to the top floor and challenge the owner to strategy/dual games using little boards and stuff like shovels to dig holes, canoes to cross water, and pickaxes to climb mountains and get your little man to the other side of the board first. On the board were tiles with different terrain, like rivers, mountains, and forests. During the game, the owner's robot dog helped you with stuff.
