Does anyone remember an old 80s floppy disk game where part of the game involved finding a golden ball/orb? You then use the golden ball to distract a creature in another room. There are other items you had to find/use throughout the game, too.
I know this isn't a lot of info, but does anyone have any clue what this game could be?

Hey guys really hope you can help me! I'm looking for a game for my girlfriend... her sister grew up playing it and she can not remember the name of it. We've narrowed it down to most likely the 80s but early 90s is possible. You wear a dark cloak and when you double jump you float for a little bit. There's an evil witch that will appear and float away and you keep having to fight through enemies to get back to her over and over. At the beginning she says you start at a church/castle and a guy walks out and that's your main character. The trees are crooked and everything is extremely dark themed. The only thing I can think that comes close is Castlevania, and she says it looks EXTREMELY close to that but she swears up and down it's not.

Sorry for the horribly jumbled paragraph I was writing this as she was giving me really helpful details :p

Hope you guys can help, we're all counting on you.

Edit: She thinks it was on a floppy disc, she is pretty sure.

For some reason, this is making me think it may be an early King's Quest game, though I doubt that's it...

I can't remember the name of an SNES RPG that started out in a small village, and everything is in black and white, and the music is indescribable. You do some other things, then you walk out of a house and everything gains color. Your character is a young boy with crazy-ish blue hair (original character do not steal) and you have to look for your little sister. You move past a bush that's shaking, and you go through a maze and find your sister in front of a huge dragon's skeleton which I believe she talks to her mother through. Some talking goes down and suddenly OP monster engages you, you try to defend your sister, and get the shit beat out of you more than your pinkie toe going full speed towards the corner of a refrigerator, and your (Grand?)father comes and either recs him to death or just shooes him away. Some things happen, then your village gets attacked, I think. Later, you get a companion who is an anthropomorphic dog who wields a crossbow. I'm 95% sure there was a boss fight after climbing some mountain thing to retrieve someone's pet cat, and it consisted of three bird THOTs who wanted to eat the you, and occasionally hit each other.

I've wanted to beat this game for so long, but I accidentally reset my computer and lost it within all the games within my ZSNES ROMS folder, never to be seen again. Either way, if anyone can find this game for me, I would be very grateful.

Thank you, and have a good day/night.

Hello everybody.
A browser game similar to Travian. The playable classes are the Vikings and Asians. You had a small city where you could build lumbermill, mine, inn, townhall and stuff...
There was a map where you could do missions to get better equipment for your fighters, or you could sail to America, where some raid missions were available.
Please help me find out what this game is called.

Thank you in advance.

I can't remember a game that i played way back in the 90s. Its either a nintendo, sega genesis or SNES. Its a rpg turn base game. The characters have the dynasty warrior or ronin warriors anime style look. When you fight, it take you to a battle arena that look like a chess board and you take turn picking which attacks to use. It could be one of those japanese exclusive game. If anyone can find this game, i love you!!!

*** update ****

i found it, game name is dragon force :)

I had to make a post after this thread helped me find Mysteries of Time and Space. I'm trying to think of the name of another flash game. All I can remember is playing it on addictinggames in the early-mid 2000's. It was a flash game where you were a ghost trying to solve the mystery of your death. Very dreary...I ONLY remember night scenes on city streets, and I believe it was raining.

Hello all! I need some help!
I can't find a game I was playing in the early 2000s. It was a PC game, I was playing it on Windows XP (but it might have been even older). It was a 2D point and click adventure game. It had a "noir" atmosphere, I think it was in black and white, gloomy and rainy, with jazz music playing. You were a detective, with a fedora probably but I am not sure about that, and you went around a city finding clues. I disctinctly remember a scene where he went down some stairs to a subway station where he found a piece of paper. Another scene was him going in an alley.
The whole interface was just the detective walking either left or right on a still screen which changed when you got to the side of the screen you had chosen.
I am sorry if it has been asked before, but I haven't found it in many days and I am going crazy!
Excuse my english too, they are not very good, but I have described it as well as I could...

Thanks for trying to help. Nope it's not a King's Quest game. But I think the game does take place in a castle...

Hello, I'm looking for the name to an old Commodore 64 or Apple II game. I've searched a number of titles with no luck. It was probably from mid-late 1980s. You go into an old Victorian house and there are these ghosts you need to help. I know there is a plant named Clive or Victor (maybe Victor was the gardener) that you have to be careful doesn't wrap you up command in the greenhouse, a baby, a ghost who laughs a lot maybe named Letitia? and I remember playing it on a green and black screen. It was a combo of text and basic pictures. it's driving me nuts. I swore it had something to do with manor or mansion, but all of the titles I've looked up don't seem to fit and I've spent a couple hours on it--one lead I found was someone in 2005 asking about the same games, with no answer!

Thanks!
I'm looking for the same game! To add, I remember there being a ghost in a bathtub with bubbles. I also think some of the ghosts needed your help or you're supposed to give them items in exchange for other items.
Adventure 3: Haunted Mansion for C64 (1982)? Haunted House for C64 (1983)? Mystery House (1980) for Apple II? Or Maniac Mansion (1987) for Apple II? If it's not one of them, maybe even Alone in the Dark (1992)?
My sister swears the game is called Mystery Manor. But I can't find any 80's floppy disk game by that name. The only search result I end up getting is for the recent Facebook game (of the same name) for ipads and androids.

Hi! I was talking to my friend the other night and we were talking about all the computer games we use to play as kids. Well there was just one I couldn't remember the name of. I played it in my 4th grade math class(2000-1), you were a male character who was trying to save his favorite celebrity(female) from an evil scientist. I could swear it was a math game, but maybe I just assume it's a math game because I played it in my math homeroom? If anyone could make any suggestions I'd really appreciate it! Thank you!

Can someone please help me with this one?

It's an old game, say beginning of the 2000s. I remember being an RPG game where you controled several characters, one of them being a Minotaur-boy creature (there was also a warrior). It's like a turn-based rpg and the fields were like a chess table. I looked it up and it's sort of like Partia, but instead when you entered a fight, the characters would become bigger. I remember you could fight goblins and other monsters.

I've been dying to remember the name of this game, but no success. Help!
Sound like a Shining Force game.

I remember an rts game on the pc, it was about 3 alien factions, one yellow/orange, one red and an blue one.
its starts with a cutscene with some of the yellow/orange ones meeting up and then getting a message about there base or something finding a unknown alien (one of the red ones) then later it shows the red one attacking everyone at the place, then looks towards the camera and says something then it ends, it with the yellow/orange ones decide to prepare for war.

sorry if not very helpful, i was a kid back then so memory is a bit vague.
Could it be KKND 2: Krossfire. KKND=Krush Kill 'N Destroy

I just had a memory return to me of playing a game on PC at least 10 years ago. I remember it was rescue and fire fighting kind of game in a city, river, and other locations. Some things I distinctly remember:
1. A part where you race through a river full of obstacles as rescue dolphin. (I guess the game had animals as well?)
2. A part where you drive around a city (maybe to find the fire? I'm only sure about the driving part)
3. Going into a museum of some sort that is breaking down or having a fire and rescuing people

I believe the game was 2D for the most part (with perspective still, but not an actual 3D engine). The game, I think, may have been a CD game. I've been searching intensely but still came up short. I would really appreciate some help!

Foreword: Just in case you, dear reader, know any of those games below, I'd be most grateful if you'd send me a private message, instead (or in addition to) replying in this thread. The reason is: I simply don't visit this thread very often and your reply could get buried somewhere within 40 new pages I won't have time to go through. Thank you.

Now to the meat: I'm looking for 2 games I've played at my friend's PC long, long time ago (almost 20 years ago).

GAME Nr. ONE:

- The game was definitely released in late 90' or very early 2000'.
- It was isometric, somewhat "point'n'click adventure" game mixed with RPG.
- Player could choose 1 of 4 characters to play with. There was a man, a woman, some kind of a beast-man (all I can remember about him is that when selected, he'd say "Igor... MAD!" or something) and either a short dude in duck-like helmet or actually a duck-man (it was too long ago for me to actually remember).
- 1st stage was in prison. The player escaped their cell by getting a key from a bread loaf. Later they had to talk to some guy that helped remove a slave collar they have been wearing.
- 2nd stage was in some docks. I vaguely remember the player had to buy a beer at a tavern for some drunk guy in exchange for something (I don't recall what it was... either a key or a potion).
- 3rd stage was on a ship full of zombies. I remember a moment in which the player had to use an invisibility potion in the right time to pass through a zombie-crowded area of the ship.

------------------------------------------------

GAME Nr. TWO:

First of all: Due to the game being about toys, let me say what I'm NOT looking for:
1) Toy Story based games.
2) Army-men (the lil' plastic soldiers) games.

Now to what I do remember about the game:

- 3rd person perspective. Perhaps there was an option to switch to 1st person, but unsure.
- The game was about toys, most/all of which were animal-like in shape, although many were bipedal.
- The toys have used guns to shoot each other.
- The game was happening in a living room (huge from the player's perspective, as you were playing as a tiny toy).
- The games mechanics revolved around switching characters by picking up special tokens with the character icon/portrait. Each character had an unique ability, for example a Cat could climb furniture and a Dragon could glide by pressing jump button repeatedly.
- As far as my friend told me, this game came pre-installed when he got his computer (Windows, probably 98 or 2000).

Thank you all in advance, and just as a reminder: I'd be grateful for sending me a PM if you know any of those games. Otherwise I might miss your answer.
