It's this old business tycoon from the 90s where you started in the early 1900s (maybe the 20s?) and had to fill a town's street with shops (restaurant, jewelry, shopping mall, etc), except in other streets some shops would perform better than others (jewelry sold more in rich neighborhoods, per example). Over time you'd advance in years (60s, 70s, 80s up to I think "futuristic" 2000s) and as you did, you'd unlock new kinds of shops, upgrades for 'em, some shops would lose popularity and you could even spread your empire to other streets of town. It had a pretty good depth for such an old game, and I'd like to play it again sometimes.

Trying to find a game that I played a lot when I was younger. This game was probably released somewhere between 1995-2003, not sure exactly when though. Going to list some specs from the game below.

- A free game (probably from some disc-PC magazine)
- Single player
- You played as a "spaceship" or an "airship"
- The goal was to take over as many blocks of "the planet" as possible, and once you circled one block or many they turned to your player color.
- There was different power-ups as well if I remember correctly, like extra speed, you turned X-amount of blocks to your color, etc.

EDIT: Could also add that you're flying this airship/spaceship on the lines of the blocks and not freely. Kinda like the Tron game, where your color is following you and once you make one square you "claim" those blocks as yours.

Would be really awesome if someone here knew about this game, been trying to search for this for years, without any results.

Any help appreciated!
Cheers

I need Your help finding the game. This memory was tormenting me for 6 years now and won't let go unless I remember it. Here are all the facts that I could muster:
- It was a cart racing game with power ups (similiar to Mario Cart)
- It definatelly had a word "Championship" in the title and probably at the very end
- It was released in the early 2000s either on Win 2000 or Win XP
- I think one level was set on a different planet with dark purple rocks all over the place, but this might not be accurate memory so I wouldn't rely on it
- It had weird and creative characters
- The only character I remember well is very angry santa (I think he was on the cover of the box or on CD or something) but it wasn't a "christmas game".

I know it's not much but please help me find this game. Should I remember some more facts I'll edit this post.

Hi there was this game i played years ago. It was about different types of insects fighting each other. There were bases which produced a bug of a specific type for example there was one for a beetle which had a cannon at his head and shot other insects or the bees which worked like machine guns. The others were like this too. You would get a base at first and then you go and take the other bases by attacking them until their HP is 0 and then you will get the base and can produce the insect of that base which you can get them from your enemy or they're natural. Also it didn't require any resources to produce them. It just needed time. Anyone knows what that game is? I,ve been searching for it for years.

Hi, I have been bashing my head in for the past 3 days to find out what was the name of a game I played on the ps2 around 12yrs ago. I'm sorry I can't remember much of the plot, only just bits and pieces.
There are 2 playable characters, a blonde man and black, short-haired woman.
It started with a plane crash and the man getting out of the plane before it falls over a cliff (i think, at this point i'm beginning to doubt my own memories). A few more scenes later when the woman is introduced, seemingly in another country, and has nothing to do with the man whatsoever, there is an interactive fight scene in her apartment.
After all this all I remember is the final boss being some kind of monster who had captured the woman and was swallowing her? ...sort of, and the man is fighting to free her in some kind of tower. I do also remember getting multiple endings as she can die and get a bad ending or save her and get a good ending. The good ending brings you the man going to see the woman in hospital and brings her a bouquet of flowers.
It's very similar to a resident evil or silent hill, similar graphics, setting etc.
If anyone has any idea what this game might be called please relieve me of my misery, thanks :)

Hello, I'm looking for the name to an old Commodore 64 or Apple II game. I've searched a number of titles with no luck. It was probably from mid-late 1980s. You go into an old Victorian house and there are these ghosts you need to help. I know there is a plant named Clive or Victor (maybe Victor was the gardener) that you have to be careful doesn't wrap you up command in the greenhouse, a baby, a ghost who laughs a lot maybe named Letitia? and I remember playing it on a green and black screen. It was a combo of text and basic pictures. it's driving me nuts. I swore it had something to do with manor or mansion, but all of the titles I've looked up don't seem to fit and I've spent a couple hours on it--one lead I found was someone in 2005 asking about the same games, with no answer!

Thanks!
I'm looking for the same game! To add, I remember there being a ghost in a bathtub with bubbles. I also think some of the ghosts needed your help or you're supposed to give them items in exchange for other items.
Adventure 3: Haunted Mansion for C64 (1982)? Haunted House for C64 (1983)? Mystery House (1980) for Apple II? Or Maniac Mansion (1987) for Apple II? If it's not one of them, maybe even Alone in the Dark (1992)?
My sister swears the game is called Mystery Manor. But I can't find any 80's floppy disk game by that name. The only search result I end up getting is for the recent Facebook game (of the same name) for ipads and androids.
I can't find it either, I'll keep trying. There is another one I haven't mentioned, Beneath Apple Manor for the Apple II, you can trade stuff and there are ghost attacks. Maxwell Manor for the Apple II has a green and black screen sometimes. The Curse of Crowley Manor for the Apple II has ghosts.
Also check out Mystery at Pinecrest Manor and Bubble Ghost (1987), probably not what you're looking for but it's worth a try.

A few more suggestions for you two, just based on the 'mystery manor' name and 80's time frame:
Mystery of Munroe Manor
Mystery of Arkham Manor
Hi-Res Adventure #1: Mystery House

Hello.
So I remember playing this "Stickman" game I think at about 10 years old, I really loved it and today I am not able to find it xD.
So as much as I remember it possibly was a stickman that you controlled and there was lots of maps where you would shoot other stickman/people in order to get or capture their flag?

I'm not sure but it was really fun to play!
If you find the game please contact me via.

Hi guys, I'm looking for a game that I played when I was young. It was a side-scrolling CD game on PC platform in the year of 2000s may be(or 1995-2000), actually I don't know about the release date of it. Just because of the graphic design doesn't look like the quality made in 21st century.

I've tried my best to remember most of the game details but I cant remember the name of it. Yeah its totally ridiculous that I remember lots of details besides the game name.

The starting animation is talking about a man was locked in a tower in the sky, a mage(maybe?) casted magic to free him.

Although the game is side-scrolling game, it looks like 2.5D. The background is 2D picture but your character and the enemies are 3D image. It is a kind of adventure game, and you have a health bar and mana bar on the top left hand corner.

In the game you can choose 3 types of character, a young man with sword, a young girl with staff and a man using two-handed axe.
I remember some of the default button which are "Z" and "X", "Z" is using a light attack and "X" is a heavy attack.
There are several types of magic you can use, fire , ice, lightning and recovery.
Each type of magic divided into 5 levels, I only remember fire and ice.

Fire L1: Single fire ball drop on a single enemy (Auto targeting to nearby enemy)
Fire L2: Fire burning on the left side of right side (depends on character facing direction)
Fire L3: Lava blast at all enemies position
Fire L4: Large explosion (Area of effect)
Fire L5: Fire from the fire phoenix (Area of effect)
Ice L1: Ice Spikes appear at a single enemy's postion (Auto targeting to nearby enemy)
Ice L2: Ice Spikes appear at all enemies' position
Ice L3: Ice wall created on the left side of right side (depends on character facing direction)
Ice L4: Ice Storm (Area of effect)
Ice L5: Ice Age (Area of effect)

And here are the stage and the boss that I try my best to remember.
Stage 1 - Forest, boss: rock golem
Stage 2 - Floor 1 , I forgot what that thing is.
Stage 3 - Below 1, boss: ice drake
Stage 4 - Below 2, boss: 2 ghost (looks like female) share 1 BOSS health bar
Stage 5 - Below 3, boss: skeleton mage(necromancer)
**And this boss I think it is a main enemy of the game because my character need to talk to him before battle.
Stage 6 - Floor 2, boss: a flying, upper body, large skeleton with both scythe-shaded hand(hand bone)
**Actually it looks like a skeleton reaper, but it is flying and only have upper body
Stage 7 - Floor 3, boss: fire drake
Stage 8 - Below 4 , I reach to the middle only.

One more thing there are 5 different BGM in the game. Each of them is used for Stage1-5 respectively. And Stage 6 use the first BGM and so on.
I just only remember the stage name and the last stage that I reached is 8.
Please help me with this, it is a memory for me and I try my best to remember the details of it.

There are two games I played at my school's computer as a kid, but I could never remember them or find a video of them.

The first game all I remember is the opening: a lady brings a baby carriage into a building, then there's an explosion where a guy becomes a skeleton. After that, the lady comes out and her baby carriage has a tentacle coming out of it.

The second game I remember some guy running towards some ancient building surrounded by tribal people. They throw spears or arrows from the left or right and you have to either duck or jump over them. If you make it far enough, you climb something.

EDIT: Both were from an old computer so I expect 80s or early 90s.

Hi guys, I have been wondering for a while about a PC game that came out around the year 2000. I believe it came free with a Packard Bell PC (not 100% on that) but was defo windows 95/98 based as i played when i was very young.
Basically it's a game where stuff happens. (bear with me) so you setup like a sort of science experiment type scenario.
you can drop tennis balls, bowling balls and then have stuff like slopes, anti gravity pads and different surfaces that slow the balls down. basically it's like a puzzle game you have to solve, like get the ball from one side of the level to the other by setting up the pads and stuff in certain places, then you click a button and have to watch to see if it works. I remember there being a lot of bars you could move, some were black and yellow diagonal striped like a "caution" sort of thing. It's really bugging me as to what game it is and i'd love to find it. Any suggestions?

EDIT FOUND
After another few hours of searching I found it! The incredible machine series

I wish this were it man, the game i'm talking about has much more recent graphics and as I said quite similar to something out of resident evil or silent hill. Also the characters never actually work together, you just play as both and thenly meet and you have to save her in the end. With regards to monsters all I can remember is the final boss vaguely as some gorey shit..

Ah, right, I misread the description of the woman having black short hair. But funny, how the beginning is quite similar.
Atm I can't think of a matching pair of protagonists but maybe someone else knows the game.

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a game I played when I was much younger, I believe it was mid '90s to late '90s. The game starts with a cartoonish animation, you see a castle with a redish-darkish sky and some sort of evil force heads to the castle. The hero is a stable boy or blacksmith, I can't really remember, but you start off in the castle's court with a sword and orcs are attacking you. Graphics are then 3D and, like Resident Evil, the points of view are fixed and change depending on the rooms you move to.

The action is slow-paced, the enemy tries to hit, you can move aside and try to hit back. I remember in the castle's court there was a staircase with an orc on top waiting to attack you. The characters are 3D but polygonal, kind of like in Final Fantasy 7 but the characters are taller. Again, like Resident Evil, you need to find objects to unlock certain places and progress through the game. I can't recall much else... hope you guys can help out!

Hello all! I need some help!
I can't find a game I was playing in the early 2000s. It was a PC game, I was playing it on Windows XP (but it might have been even older). It was a 2D point and click adventure game. It had a "noir" atmosphere, I think it was in black and white, gloomy and rainy, with jazz music playing. You were a detective, with a fedora probably but I am not sure about that, and you went around a city finding clues. I disctinctly remember a scene where he went down some stairs to a subway station where he found a piece of paper. Another scene was him going in an alley.
The whole interface was just the detective walking either left or right on a still screen which changed when you got to the side of the screen you had chosen.
I am sorry if it has been asked before, but I haven't found it in many days and I am going crazy!
Excuse my english too, they are not very good, but I have described it as well as I could...
Sounds like Blade Runner

Need some help remembering a game.
I fairly sure it was a game from a demo disk that I played on windows 95. maybe 98 but I think 95.
It was a side scroller horror fantasy type game. The options menu at the start was like a room that you were in and you pressed on a computer or phone or something to start. You play as a kid and you would have to fight these ghost type monster things that were completely black except for their eyes. I remember at the end of the demo level there was a cut scene where you were climbing up a wall or rock face and at the top you could see over to something.
Super vague I know but if anyone has any ideas?
