I know this is a very broad description.. but there was a game I played with my dad when I was super young (I'm 18 but the game was much older than that) and it was a knight/peasant sort of game. You could move any direction on the screen to move around the map. There was a castle at one point that you could cross a bridge to get into but I don't remember much more than that. It was VERY old, big pixels and all. There may have been grass that you could cut up and collect stuff from or little houses you could go into but I'm not sure and I have no clue what it's called and neither does my dad. Help!
Any idea what console you played it on, or was it a PC game? Some of what you mentioned sounds like it could be a Zelda game, or maybe Soliel / Crusader of Centy on Megadrive/Genesis.

Not that old, but it was a game on the Xbox or Nintendo Gamecube, could be PS2, but it was a game where you went around in some kind of Italian-style town area in one of the levels, but I can't remember the mechanics. It had a Jack and Dexter art style.
Blinx The Time-Shifter or something like that?

Basically he's a time-changing cat.

I would like help trying to remember the name of a game on the playstation 1. I Don't remember much as I was quite young at the time but it was kinda like an fps strategy game I believe. You had a team of some space soldiers and you had to kill aliens which I believe had a pink/purple head and looked quite scary and big. I think you took it in turns to move or it had some weird system in place I think...sorry it's so vague. I youtubed 100 ps1 games and it didn't show up on there!
Space Hulk?
It's either that or the PS1 version of X-Com: Ufo Defence.

Apologies for digging up some of the older posts in the thread, but in case people were still looking for answers a month later...

Old PC game. First person point-and-click adventure. Zero to no plot. Exploration game.
I remember starting off in a spaceship outside what I remember to be a giant fish nebula. The game involved pointing on locations and aliens and had some fairly crazy art. For example, you might click on a sink's drain and end up upside down in a room with a grandfather clock. It had a bunch of little minigames (like a canvas you could paint on, music-maker, etc.)

Been racking my brain and searching all over google, when a friend told me you guys might help.
That sounds a lot like Cosmic Osmo. Especially if it was in black and white.

I'm reposting this for the third time! Maybe this time someone is able to help me :(

I am searching for a really old action RPG, similar to Diablo. I can only remember a few things. In the opening sequence somebody puts a big egg infront of somebody's door, during the night. I think in the end of the sequence the house got burned down, but I'm not entirely sure. The one thing I can perfectly remember, is the world map. You were able to travel from one place to another by clicking on it. After that, footprints appeared on the map, to show where your character is going. Sometimes your character got attacked during travel and the game switched to the normal gamemode again. You were then able to fight the attackers by using a fighting system, similar to Diablo. You were also able to get followers who helped you fighting. There was also a mission where you had to place soldiers in a village to protect it from an enemy attack. You had to do this on a seperate minimap which appeared when you started the mission. The last thing I remember is that you started the game in a tower or a castle.

I hope you can help me, finding this game.
Thank you in advance,

Fuffy
Please! Please help me to find this game! I've been searching for it for so many years now! I searched every forum I could find, I even searched through a list of all RPG's released between 1990 and 2000. I haven't received an answer on any of my posts in this forum yet. It's like this game doesn't even exist! If someone is able to help me, or is at least searching for the same game, please answer me!
A dragon's egg, and you start in a tower? It's probably Gorasul: Legacy of the Dragon.

Anyone remember this television video game regarding soccer where when kicked ball with power it would turn to different creatures like fish etc.

It would score goals and tear the nets etc.

It had rain scenarios etc.

Ok, this has been driving me crazy.
The game was an old computer game VERY similar to paint. I remember at the beginning, you ride a roller coaster to a art museum(?)and there you can pick what kind of painting/drawing you want to do. There was also a character who had purple hair(?). I played this game on Windows 98 so it had to be pre-2000.
THANKS!
That reminds me of Fine Artist.

I remember a PS1 game I had many many years ago, and I'm not sure what happened to it. All I know is, I started it, got stuck, and never touched it again. I vaguely remember something about being a criminal, and being forced to wear this mask...thing...and being dropped into some sewers and wandering around killing things in the sewers. As I said this was many years ago so those are the only details I recall. It may even have been a ps2 game though I doubt it.

Side note, the capcha I got at first for this post ended with that weird wavey = sign. I don't have that button, guys...
That sound like Splatter house, but I only remember it for Sega genesis/megadrive

Hey I'm looking for a PC 2d co-op split screen scroller . It was from the 90's, I used to play it in a 386.

The level was mostly empty (black background) and there were columns and beams forming primitive buildings which you could jump on, you could throw bombs and these structures would turn into little boulders when exploded, and fly everywhere. It had very primitive physics, as in every object had to be standing over something otherwise it would fall.

You controlled a guy who could run and jump, you could get momentum when running and jump to the next structure or just start throwing bombs at the bottom of the structures.
The level as I remember was like an "arena", a big bounding box with delimited walls.

When playing co-op you could throw bombs to each other, and sometimes you would see boulders falling into your head because the other one was exploding the buildings.

The goal of the level was to get all the small items in the level, like a diamond, a ring, a fruit, etc. Sometimes you turned into rubble the wrong building and the item got buried under these boulders and they got destroyed.

Note: this is nothing related to Supaplex or Boulder or anything like that, the gameplay was totally different

I've been looking for this game for too long! It's even hard for me to describe the game so it was impossible to google it without getting results like supaplex and the like :(

Guys I am drowning here... i really need to find that 3d ball game, I have searched everywhere, please help me- it's a game where you have to navigate a ball through platforms and the platforms were in outer space- there were different types of levels- like wooden, metal and colorful, and different types of floors- the ice was the harder to navigate the ball onto, you had to jump with the ball a lot and there were also arrows which made the ball faster.
There is a game that I believe was exclusive to Macs called "Marble Blast Gold." You never said what console or OS the game was on, so I'm afraid that's the best I can do ;-)

Anyway, I have a request. In the early 2000s, the computers at my middle school had this educational video game where you were trapped in a castle, and you navigated it by exploring different rooms and answering trivia questions to open more doors. It was medieval themed and there was something to do with a jester, but I think the questions were about everything (history, math, science, etc). It was fully 2D and you didn't really have a "player character," you just appeared in the different rooms and answered questions. It would have been on Windows 98 or ME, I believe. Any help would be appreciated :3

There is this game that I used to play on the PC with a friend of mine, back in the late 90's, maybe even early 2000.

It involved a rabbit that welcomed you into the forest, it took you to a taking tree and more animals that lived there. In one part you had to go to a watchtower during nighttime and there was something about Orion and the stars. Then the whole world/forest in the game turned red/hellish. There were dead animals next to the road and there was a dragon. At this point we remember different stuff, but one of us says the dragon was in some sort of lake/pond and there was something with cages. The talking tree was asleep and couldn't help you.
There was also a part where the animals would hold a party..

The style of the game was cartoonish (drawn) not computer animated.

We figured out afterwards that you could actually skip this whole hell part.

Thanks in advance, we've been looking for it for ages!

I'm trying to remember an old text-only RPG I played in the late 90s/early 2000s. There were no graphics. I just being able to choose your characters abilities (mine was a necromancer). I've been Googling for an hour and coming up blank!
Is this a text-only RPG as in, you only input text commands, or as in, your character is a @ and you're fighting monsters represented by letters?
text-only

Anyone remember an old PC game that was similar to Gauntlet? I played it in the mid 1990s and you had to use gold to buy warriors/mages/other classes and could switch off which character to control at a time. If a character dies they stay dead and would have to pay to get a new one. It had a top-down view much like the old Gauntlet games. There would be swirly blue portals that would take you to other levels. I remember that each class had a set of skills like the mage could teleport, the warrior could charge, etc.

Hi. In the 90's I used to play an arcade game about a boy (he kind of looked like Songoku. He had a similar red outfit). This boy shoots fireballs and he is in some kind of sewers I believe. He kills monsters, and had the usual monster boss at the end of each stage. Its a 2D game, action/plataforms. It was a kind of cool game, with cool monsters and action music. He shoots some kind of fireballs, and when he died he turned to you, screams and desapears.
Any clue? Thanks

Hi - I'm looking to track down a game - I think I played it on the Spectrum but certainly it was very simple. Black screen, white wireframe graphics. Two ships compete against each other trying to knock a ball into the other person's goal. The ships can fire bullets which hit the ball and they can move around in zero gravity to bash into each other or the ball. Dead simple, Dead addictive. Any ideas?

It was a PC game, definitely. It wasn't Zelda and it wasn't any of the other ones you mentioned :( It was EXTREMELY basic. Most of the map from what I remember was just grass. There were people you could talk to in the game...I'm not sure anyone can answer this one I don't remember enough about it. I'm dying to know what it is though.

I need help. Back in 2007-2008 I've played a 3rd person game. You started in a camp after you've created you're own character. The Elder of this camp trained you (fighting, riding and hitting dummies on foot and horse) and sent out for missions and stuff...
You can ride a horse, you engage wolves in the forest, some villagers by the windmill, and some soldiers...
I don't know what category is it , maybe 3rd person medieval sword game :) . It reminds me of Mount and Blade, but only older.... way older perhaps ..

can you help me?
