Hi all, I'm trying to remember the name of a game I played around the time Little fighter (2?) was making the rounds. This game is a Top down, multiplayer Maze game with. There are neutral tanks driving around the maze that will kill anyone they're near, there is also money and various items in the maze for you to gather.

You set how many rounds you want the game to last for and at the end of each round you spen money on tanks, weapons, armour and abilities that allow you to faze through walls for a short time, turn invisible or ran faster for the whole round. Each player had a base in one corner that would only open for you unless they buy a one time use key, (i'd buy them and place mines in their base :).

The multiplayer was played using the same keyboard, not sure if it was possible to play LAN but if it is possible I'd definately like to find this old game and play against family and friends.

Hi, I'm trying to find an old game I've being playing many many years ago (about 10 years).
I don't remember much, but I do remember it was like bird's-eye-view and it was kind of scary game, at least for a child.

I remember a dark long street and some kind of a house, there was no roof so the player could see what's going on inside.
I believe it was some kind of a quest game but I don't remember the story or anything like that.
I remember entering the house and then turning to the left into a laboratory-room where there was a frankenstein connected to the wall and there was another little room that connects to the laboratory- in the little room there was a fireplace and if you jumped in/fell in a trapdoor (I don't remember which one is that) you reached the basement where there was a group of gnomes that put coal inside the fireplace.
I know it sounds weird, or like it's a crazy dream but that's a real game that me and my father used to play!

I hope there's someone that know this crazy game or remember anything and I'm not losing my mind...
Was this a LucasArts adventure game?
Nope, the character was really far away from the screen

I got a game I have been trying to remember the name of for a few years now.

It's an arcade game I used to play back in the mid 90's when arcades were fun cause not everyone had the latest 16-bit system. If i remember correctly this was a 2D side scrolling shot em up Space Themed game. I believe it was a 1-4 player co-op where, everyone played the exact same character but in a different color and you were some pixelated man. You could move up and down platforms by jumping or using a jetpack upgrade. There were also other weapon upgrades too. I think it was a 1-hit death kinda game too. I do not think it was ever ported to the consoles.

I don't recall a publisher but after trying to do some research on this I think I've crossed off Neo-Geo cause I couldn't find a game in their library like it.

After running through the neo-geo catalog again, maybe it was Cyber-Lip I was thinking about or at least a game like that and Contra... I swear it was 1-4 player though...

I just got hit with a few memories, A game for the SNES where you control a red bird with spiky hair. I also remember Balloons for some reason, I think they signified checkpoints and the end of the level. Cant remember much else than that... Graphics were cartoony, though I know that don't help much...

P.S. To whoever answered my last game 'Lester the Unlikely' Thank you! Its amazing how much better you do at a game once you realize what you are doing.

I'm looking for a game I played around the 2000s on the ps1 or the ps2 - it is a side scrolling 2d ninja game. There were multiple levels, but the only detail I remember is that the third level was a waterfall with lots of floating platforms, and if you fell off you died. Thats all I remember about it now but i'll try and remember some more.

EDIT: I found the game, its called Revenge of Shinobi, and it was on a different console.

ok here we go. it was a pc game made somewhere between 98 and 03. the graphics were basic and you were an ice climber who had to do things to get to a castle. I believe you got one item in the castle then you would fall, or something to reset the level. then you'd do things again and repeat it. snowy background, seemed to be made for children. it was around the same time that Freddie The Fish was around. love that game so much.
I believe I found your game: Icy Tower

Hi,

I'm looking for an old RTS type game that i used to play as a child. Basicly there are two races human alien with 2 different gameplay. Human have a limited amout of credit at the begining of the mission. ALiens can refine ressources but slowly. One specificity was that the cloud of war was poisonned and human had to "clean" (via a mortar type unit) it before progressing in the map, but alien could walk freely in the fog of war.

The bald was using something like a wood to fight and the other one a sword... There was also a huge tiger as a boss... Can you help... If you want more details, ask me!!! I'm not sure but I think that you could stop the time or know the moves of the foe or something like that... please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking eariler about all the games i used to play and one came to mind that i used to love, but i cannot for the life of me remember what it was so I wondered if anyone else gets this same memory issue and who knows Might end up finding some classics we forgot long ago.

My one is a PC game It was a car game of sorts driving around and arena leaving a coloured trail behind you and you killed other players by getting them to drive into the trail you leave behind. I think the cars and arena were mostly black (or at least the version i had was) and the trail and 'walls' coming from the cars were really bright colours depending on team etc. Like red, orange, green, blue.

Well there you go, What games have you forgotten, Hopefully we can rediscover old games we thought long lost!

Okay so there's a particular game im looking for. I have only have a jist of what it is about. And that is about The earth is in trouble and you play a spaceship flying around parts of the earth fighting the hostile invaders and i believe they are refferd to a bugs. I do remember it is for either Playstation or Playstation 2. And i also remember there is a boss in one particular mission that is called the Dreadnought. And the last mission is where you fly the moon into the Earth to stop them from wiping out what is left of humanity.
That sounds a lot like the remake of Defender.

Hi,
I am looking for a PC game. You had a medival character, you could be a monk, archer, knight etc. which you controlled by your keyboard. It had a very cartoon-style graphics and was a side-scrolling game. So basically it was a fighting game in which you move to the right and clear the stage, and then go on to the next one. The important part was that you also had like 5-10 players with you, one of which could also be played by another player on your pc. It was very cartoon like and had a nice forest setting. It was more of a small game one could download somewhere than something you could buy.
Thanks :)

I have been trying for sometime to remember this old game i was playing when i was a child...i don't remember much about the character or about the game..i know that i had to walk around and smash flower pots for money in different buildings [one of them, that i particularly remember was some kind of a casino or a bar]. The only thing i can clearly remember is one scene in which i was "at home" and i had to cross from one room to another and i had to keep away from "my wife" because if she caught me she would start kissing me and i wouldn't be able to move anymore.

Damn lol

That does sound very familiar to me but I can't think of the name off the top of my head. Give me a bit and maybe it'll come to me, or maybe someone else can answer and help us both. :)

HI, i've been looking for one of my childhood games for the last couple of years and can't remember the name of it and was hoping some of you might be able to help me find it. The game was played in the 90's to early 2000. Although i was to little to get very far in it, i do remember the opening scene. The game is a cartoon based game about a boy and girl(brother and sister maybe) who are walking along a path in the woods and one of them gets kidnapped. You watch a little video of the brother or sister being brought into a house, up to a bedroom and the kidnapper and the kidnapee jump into a picture on the wall. You, as the character have to go after the sibbling and try to rescue them. I remember the scene where your in the bedroom and you have to find a way into the picture on the wall. theres a blue ladder leaning against the wall, which you use to climb into it and enter the world inside the picture.
Im really hoping that theres enough information that someone might recognize it with. thank you :)

Well I just found this thread and reading through all these figments of memories of long forgotten games was very interesting. I personally have one that I remember playing as a very young boy, maybe 6 years old, which was released in the 90s. I have tried numerous times over the years to find out what it was but failed. It's a very long shot and my memories are incredibly old and almost gone now, but here goes:

DESCRIPTION:
(im 89% sure its not populous...)
*It was on PC (or possibly Amiga....)
*It was a top down view strategy game
*There were paths in the sky, leading to various futuristic/tribal structures (i have an image of a large futuristic energy well made of stone, a bit like a sci-fi pyramid, with some kind of blue glowing light inside
*You could only use the narrow paths that you create through the sky to reach the structures, you were not free to build/walk anywhere
*I remember little, kind of tribal, people walking along these paths.

That's all I have left of my memories :( I would be so happy to know what this game was...

*****************************************************

And I just remembered the second game of the 90s I've been trying to remember,I think it may have been on a demo CD that also had Dark Earth on.

DESCRIPTION:
*Third person view
*You control a woman
*You explore the outside of a mansion/large estate, trying to get inside, climbing inside windows maybe.. looking for clues...
*The mansion is a little like Lara Croft's.

Anyone know what is this game call? It is a PlayStation 1 game. I remember playing a game that have robot team, human team, and animal team. It was a 2 player games. You can choose either of a team and build your house, soldiers, tank to attack your opponent. From the animals team, it only build animals, it look like dragonfly, little chicken bomb. For the robot team, it was team that cost all lot of resource to built them. It have different place that you can choose, for example it was a land or water near land. It also have oil and you need to build something to take out the oil to use. You can play against each other or you and your partner can play against other team only. can anyone please tell me?

the game was a PC browser game, and was like Worms. You had different weapons and could customize your avatar. i remember playing this game from anywhere between 4 to 3 years ago... I've tried remembering the name, but it always escapes me.
