Hi,

Does anyone know the title of the game where you are a Floppy Disk fighting electrical components (eg. resistors and transistors) throughout the game? They have self-destructing diodes too. It's a scrolling game and 2 player mode is available too.

I have no idea how old it is, but I'm quite sure it's at least 10 years old. The one I had was in CD form.
PLEASE HELP ME, I'm dying for it. Thanks.

I post it again, help please:

Hi, thanks for this thread, it's really useful.

I was looking for one game that i've been playing during 90's.

It looks similar (on graphics) to http://www.elpixelilustre.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Flashback3.jpg

It was in 2D (like the game in the link), the protagonist was a man. The game was in color. Some levels you appear with some jungle background, at others levels I remember fighting against something like "robotic floating squares".

I remember too one image with an eagle. (Not sure about this)...

Also, you can choose the level by some extern menu.

Resuming: PC, 2D, color, platform, different zones like jungle or technological, protagonist as a man.

Thank you and sorry 'bout bad english and poor info.

Hi There! Here's one for you! If anyone can help, I'd love to play this again! I've been thinking about it for weeks (and appeasing my sorrow with the games "Stars!" and "Castle of the Winds").

This was a shareware game - OK, so the game really gets your attention with the intro: It's very anime style, and you're watching a man running through the woods, I think a bubble pops up from his head to show he's thinking about his wife and child. At the end he sees that his city is on fire (I'm reaching here) and goes psycho.

At that point, you get to play!!! The game is you (the man) flying around in a little jet (think Raptor: Call of the Shadows) only you can go all over a map and not just straight into the onslaught like many shoot-em-ups. You fly from island to island (all bird's eye view), dog fighting, dropping cluster bombs (my favorite!), etc. There were several different bomb types, enemies and playable ships too (I think). I believe that certain islands had bases you could land on to reload and repair.

The maps took a long time from what I can remember, and were fun and challenging. One last thing that rings a bell - one of the enemy ships was called a "Sharky" and looks like a hammer head. I think I remember getting to fly it, and it's turning sucked soooo bad!

Ring any bells? Surely someone else has played this amazing game!!! :)

This is all based on the shareware version, so who knows if it even had the same name as the full version? For example, I remember "Halloween Harry" and "Alien Carnage" were pretty much synonymous games with different names.

Hey there,

I created this account just to ease the vendetta I have to find this game.

The game was a really simple story where you begins as a child moving into a cul de sac where you either need to finish a summer project or just make friends. You go around to the neighborhood kids and they have you play mini-games until you are enough their friend to move onto the next challenge like fixing a little boys rc car and the like. There was a kid in a lab coat and a little boy with an rc car and I think a little blonde girl with pigtails, like generic children.

I played it maybe twice as a child, but it is so frustrating to not know what it was called. I kept losing because the summer went by so fast and you could only do limited actions in a day, so it had a ticking clock.

I would really appreciate even having someone else remembering this game. Sometimes I think I just made it up as a kid. :'( seems to be too intricate to be me though.

Hi, I'm trying to find an old game I've being playing many many years ago (about 10 years).
I don't remember much, but I do remember it was like bird's-eye-view and it was kind of scary game, at least for a child.

I remember a dark long street and some kind of a house, there was no roof so the player could see what's going on inside.
I believe it was some kind of a quest game but I don't remember the story or anything like that.
I remember entering the house and then turning to the left into a laboratory-room where there was a frankenstein connected to the wall and there was another little room that connects to the laboratory- in the little room there was a fireplace and if you jumped in/fell in a trapdoor (I don't remember which one is that) you reached the basement where there was a group of gnomes that put coal inside the fireplace.
I know it sounds weird, or like it's a crazy dream but that's a real game that me and my father used to play!

I hope there's someone that know this crazy game or remember anything and I'm not losing my mind...

Been trying to find a game myself for ages.

I think it's back in the 95/98 Windows era. Might've been shareware/freeware?

Basically from what I remember it was multiplayer, you and AI, all had your own castles, where you took turns rolling dice to go around the 'board' which was outside, a lot of green and blue. And attempted to collect all the keys before returning back to a castle to win. I recall there being Gold and Silver bars in the game. And I'm pretty sure you were wizards and had the ability to cast spells on each other.

I think the game was birds-eye view too, though I could be wrong about that.

I really want to play an old DOS game from a recurring memory I have from my childhood:

-early '90 game
-it was a 3d 3rd-person shooter/action game
-it had a simple color palette (low to none shadows, bright colors)
-sci-fi/space environment
-the main character had a yellow shirt (or something like that, the 3d at that time wasn't EXTREMELY detailed)
-the story starts in a cell, or a cabin (can't tell the difference)
-there were aliens
-the game had a weapon which bullets would endlessly bounce on walls (said bullets would cause friendly fire)

Thanks in advance.

I don't remember bouncing bullets, but are you talking about Blake Stone?

EDIT- never mind, I didn't notice that this was a 3rd person shooter you are talking about.

as the story goes i remember this game, it was rather old i think it was from about 2000s, about 32-64 bit top down rpg were you are trying to find the swords of light and dark then mix them to make the one sword that could kill the 3 headed dragon, the sacrifice for killing the dragon was that you would have to stay there forever making sure it never revived, i think you also turned to stone , it involved many characters were you could "evolve" them if you leveled them enough causing massive change in character, i remember one being wolfish, you yourself are a standard light haired headband wearing nameless hero, i remember playing it on a laptop about 2004 or so, tiny disk, also some items were "cursed" so you couldnt remove them without the "appraiser", also when attacking it switched to an "Action scene" displaying your attack similar to how pokemon does it, anyone know what game that would be? thanks in advanced

Just a wild guess - was this a Fire Emblem game? There's been many, and I think at least one has to do with swords and a three headed dragon.

Okay so there's a particular game im looking for. I have only have a jist of what it is about. And that is about The earth is in trouble and you play a spaceship flying around parts of the earth fighting the hostile invaders and i believe they are refferd to a bugs. I do remember it is for either Playstation or Playstation 2. And i also remember there is a boss in one particular mission that is called the Dreadnought. And the last mission is where you fly the moon into the Earth to stop them from wiping out what is left of humanity.

That sounds a lot like the remake of Defender.
