I don't know if it was 2.5D or 3D, but there was a 3rd person shooter game featuring a girl running or riding something through a straight tunnel (cave-ish in appearance) with a light at the end and shooting at what I think were robot spiders.

I've searched for this for hours the past two days and have had no luck, hoping someone else knows what game this is! Thanks a lot!

*Edit: It was for PC.

There's another one I'm trying to think of. PS1 puzzle game where you have to escape folding blocks. Black and white color scheme. Any ideas?

Sounds a lot like Kurushi, also known as Intelligent Qube.

Been looking for awhile for this one, can't seem to find it but I feel like I'm so close.

It was a PC strategy game, a lot like StarCraft, in the late 90s I wanna say. You could choose between Humans and Martians, and the plot was that humans come to Mars to mine or something like that, and a war is started. You could upgrade your units and all that jazz, just like StarCraft. You could also find "relics" of the native Martians that could be used for something, although that might have been just a story mission. One of the only specific things I can really remember is that the aliens had a unit that was akin to the humans' Mech Robot in the game, which was a creature with large teeth and jaws, and had blades coming out of its elbows, knees, and hands. The Martians were also very stereotypical looking Martians, but the actual name of their race was something different I believe. I feel it on the tip of my tongue but no matter how hard I try I can't think of the name of this game! Please help.

I've been looking for a game that I remember enjoying when i was a kid for a few months now (in my spare time) and I've hit sort of a wall. my biggest problem has been that I don't remember the title of the game or much about it (I couldn't have been more than ten) but I do remember a few things. I played the game in the early to mid 90's and on my p.c. (which was quite a clunker even then) and it was specifically about hacking into computer systems. you could buy software and you were given missions but i think you could also do non mission hacking too. the game itself was fully 2D (and if i remember correctly it was pretty simple) and I remember being a fan of the writing, it was a bit like neuromancer (though it wasn't the neuromancer game). one last thing I remember was that If you lost in the end you would get a screen telling you that you had fried you're grey matter. I know this isn't a lot to go on but I was hoping a few p.c. aficionados out there might remember a game like that.
Hacker or Hacker 2. Maybe you'll like Uplink too.

This is a computer game where you're a detective in a school or hospital and you're going around talking to different robots trying to solve a crime. I used to play all the time and it was super fun, but I can't remember the name or anything else about it! Please help!

Since I had no answers last time, I'm giving it another shot! :)

"Hello there, I'm currently trying to find the name of an old 3D RPG made in the 90's.

I'm fairly sure it was a DOS game in which you were a man who could transform into different beings, every being had a specific power that would unlock the next part of the game. I can't remember it very clearly, but i think atleast, one was a beast, who had super strength, there was some dwarf like creature which allowed you to walk under things to progress and big multi eyed monster which allowed you to fly.

To use the transformation powers, you had to defeat a boss, to get a crystal to be able to transform, and all the different bosses were as said these different beings that required certain tactics, the first one was the beast, you had to kick him until he was defeated. But yeah, all that I can remeber.

If anyone has a clue, please help!"
The Immortal, maybe?

Sorry for the double post guys, but for all those of you who haven't rediscovered their game yet, I suggest you go through the archives over at http://homeoftheunderdogs.net. (if you didn't know about this site already)

It lists some more obscure genres like "education", as well as "applications" and "interactive fiction".

Remember that you can also filter by subcategories, like "isometric" or "first-person" in RPG, "Flight-Military" and " Flight-Civil" in Simulation and many others.

OK I am getting desperate in finding this game. I have searched hours online with no luck so I made a account for this forum for the sole purpose of getting some help with finding this game(hence the username). My family used to get demos for software in the mail. This was in the 90's-early 2000's and most of the software was random junk, but some of it was games. One of these game demos was an old RTS called Army Men if that helps narrow it down. However, the game I need help finding was a game where you played as an army of clay people. It was an RTS/strategy game and you had to use your clay people to fight. The clay people came in a bunch of different colors, but I think you could only play a few of them in the demo.I remember that some of the clay men were holding things which let them have certain abilities. I remember some clay guys would carry boulders, some carried shovels, and others carried a giant magnifying glass.

Sorry if I posted this twice, but its not showing up for me and I am on an old crappy computer that does many strange things. :p

If i remember right, the PC was always yellow. I can't remember the game name. If memory serves, it was on a cd with a bunch of other games. my grandmother's computer had win 95 if that helps any. Sorry that i can't remember more.

Hi, I remember playing this platform-game in early 2000's, which had like this "one screen at a time"-based screen movement, kinda like in Legend of Zelda, but sidescrolling. You played as some wizard. It was freeware-version, so there was only one level, and had another character (Merlin I guess) locked. It had pretty descent graphics and soothing music. You collected different coloured gems, which looked like diamonds. Enemies were quite generic, wolves and bees and such. You fought them with staff that had some missile-type spells on it. If I remember correctly, when you got enough gems, a door appeared on some screen as an exit.

I really would appreciate, if somebody would know the name of this game that has been lost from me so many years...
I'm also searching one another game.
I was playing this also in the early 2000's. It was played on one computer as 4 player deathmatch, and was played as different coloured frogs. You were supposed to kill other players by jumping on top of them. It had power-ups (super-jump, super-speed, invulnerability etc..) and few maps, I can remember one being Titanic and other was some kind of a cave.
The game was really fast paced and was graphically kinda simple.
Also, it had lots of blood :p
The game is called Brave Dwarves 2

Could you narrow it down a little bit? Was it turn based? Which time period was it set in? Fantasy/Medieval, Napoleonic, modern or sci-fi? Was the map just a regular world map of earth, was it auto generated or unique to the game?

I post it again, help please:

Hi, thanks for this thread, it's really useful.

I was looking for one game that i've been playing during 90's.

It looks similar (on graphics) to http://www.elpixelilustre.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Flashback3.jpg

It was in 2D (like the game in the link), the protagonist was a man. The game was in color. Some levels you appear with some jungle background, at others levels I remember fighting against something like "robotic floating squares".

I remember too one image with an eagle. (Not sure about this)...

Also, you can choose the level by some extern menu.

Resuming: PC, 2D, color, platform, different zones like jungle or technological, protagonist as a man.

Thank you and sorry 'bout bad english and poor info.

Hi

the game i am looking for is a PC game that's 2D but not a side scroller i don't think
its in 3rd person perspective the game kinda looks like n64 Harvest Moon where you move around a screen
or like the old zelda games. the graphics i think look hand drawn maybe not but that style.
its about you crash landing on a unknown planet and only have so many days left to live
you need to go out and find supplies maybe food i don't remember for sure but i know you could
kind of craft things by trying to combine items together.

its at lest 7 years old any maybe indie or even maybe a flash game but i don't think so.
