Ok let's see
PS1 Game - probably asian developer or/and publisher
Fighting style game ,you had a wide array of characters to choose from but it wasn't the conventional fighting style game you knew , it was a rather fast paced game on which the characters were fighting from afar(although you could get close) mostly with projectile "powers" coming out of their hands (like kame-hame-ha / ha-douken) that kind of thing. each character had a unique "special".
The fighting was happening into some sort of arena without having that arena feel,(example:a field with some rocks or something).Positioning was important as well since you could actually take cover behind objects.
The camera angle was like Sky/side-diagonal(at least how i remember it) and since none of the maps were nowhere near big the camera was also rather stationary most of the time. And perhaps i am wrong on this but on multiplayer
the screens didn't really split
Thanks in advance
