Hello everyone,

I need some serious help with remembering the name of this arcade game. I have exhausted all my Google resources 

I remember this arcade game (upright cabinet) around the year 1987-1992.
The game was a 2 player vertical scrolling shooter. The one unique thing I remember about the game was the powerups. The powerups were soldiers on the field and when you picked them up in your hover vehicle, they would hang on the vehicle as gunners. I believe you can have up to 4-5 at one time.

The game had a kind of futuristic Robotech look to it.

Any help would be appreciated and ease my wondering mind.

Thanks

Ok I really want to figure out the name of this game. All I remember was that it was definitely for PSX, and that it was a RPG, with a turn-based battle system. Also, your characters had the power to turn into powerful angel-like people. This is all I can remember....Sorry if it isn't enough info...
Okay I realized this was a HORRIBLE description, so I'm going to reiterate.

Shot in the dark, Valkyrie Profile?

I was playing a game (it was around 10 years ago) where you were the only one human in the game universe and you could use 3 types of mechas to help yourself (small red, medium green and big blue ones). Your character could fight with a machine gun, laser and lock-on missiles. Also you could take over some buildings and blue mechas. The last mission was getting inside some building and jumping into a teleport which "teleported" you to some unknown area filled with weird collumns shooting energy balls in the air. Also water was dangerous for everything.

I remember playing a game in the late 90s on the computer where you were a kid in middle school or high school and your dad had a train set in the attic and you can chose to play with it but if you crash it he gets pissed off at you. I also believe your grandfather dies and comes back to talk to you as a ghost, the last thing I remember is your babysitter or neighbor is a vampire or a monster of sort. And for some reason I think you help your mom cut carrots and you cut your finger.

Sorry if I wasn't descriptive enough all I could remember and google wasn't helping.

So i need help with this game. It was a very old game i played when i was like 3-4 years old in 1996, but the game was probably older, since it was on my dads "college-build" computer, which had DOS I believe, be cause it had also the very first Sim City installed which i remember clearly: http://startswithabang.com/?p=1339
However, what i remember about the game I'm looking for:
-Horizontal scroll game like mario.
-I think its a blue/red/green clothed man you control.
-He starts in front of a castle.
-You can enter the castle, and there is some invisible platforms you can jump on, but they don't lead anywhere and there is nothing else to do (maybe i was to young to understand it) - The Background of the castle was pure black i believe.
-The surroundings of the castle was trees and it was night: a black background with stars.
-You had to go right from the castle and cross some cliffs with the help of brick-made grayish platforms.
-Blue (and maybe other colored) birds tries to kill you or push you of the platforms. They fly freely on the 2D screen.

-First level is described as above, next level i remember being a sandy/harbor level, which ends at a space rocket :

-Space rocket leads the player to the last level i remember: Space, which was all just flying UFO's 'n such.

That's actually all i remember.

Thanks :)

EDIT:
ITS CAPTAIN COMIC

I can't remember the name of this game but it was on Sega 16 bit. It was birds eye view and followed 1 and possibly 2 players in co-op and you walked around a city in the beginning and kill people and grab their whips, guns, knives etc. There was a later level where you are in a cave and everything is dark but a light circle around you.

This is all I can remember it was a FREAKIN AWESOME game !

Thanks for your time !

Hello all,

I also have a game I really want to know the name of!
When I was younger (about 8 years ago I guess), a friend of my sister brought a CD with a lot of games on it. One of the games was ANNO1602, so the game is probably about the same age.

The game starts with an option for 2 rases: something with skeletons, and an other with wolves. Then you came in a map with 1 opponent, wich was also a kind of skeleton-race. I remember the opponent had a sort of magician wich spawned skeletons and healed them. For your own race, you could make also a sort of shaman who could heal.

For the rest, I remember playing in a big map where you could build a village and your army. One of the buildings was a kind of Chinese temple, where you could make that sort of shaman. Also castles for making Knights.
I also could remember that I was irritating the fact that your troops could lead his own life (sort of agresive mode).

My memory isn't very good (also my english isn't!) but I hope someone recognizes this game!
Thanks!

EDIT:
It was a 3D game with birt-eyed view!

Ok I've been trying to figure this out for years. Hopefully someone can help me out here. I remember a fighting game, I think it was either on the NES or the SNES. I don't remember much about it other than one character who i think wore black slacks, a black vest on a white shirt, and had a monocle. And one stage which had a divider in the middle that went from he bottom of the screen about 2/3 to the top. On either side of the divider was water and you had to fight the other player or computer while trying to keep to the surface or you'd drown and you could jump back and forth over the divider.

This game was different in the way that you controlled the game. I remember that you had a spider that you had to navigate through a map with obstacles. The map was in 3d. BUT, you could NOT control the spider itself, but you had do things around it to make it move through the map. I remember that my dad said that it was kind of unique in that way. This game I played around 1994 to 2002. I cant remember more then that :|.

Noooo.....Valkyrie Profile has a distinctly different graphic style. However, I think the game may have been made by Square, but I'm not sure....
Thanks for trying!!

Ok, there are 3 games that are bugging me and I cannot for the life of me remember what the hell were their names. So please, if you know, answer me :)

1) It was a point and click game. I remember a couple of parts of the game and the first area was a forest area, you had to get into a castle but I got stuck behind some lazers and couldn't figure out how to get past. Anyway, the parts I remmber are that a couple of bandits tried to rob you but you could give them a cursed ring or something that you picked up and that ring turned their leader into a skeleton and killed him, the rest ran off I think. The other part was a troll or a one eyed giant or something and you had to sneak into his cave, which was blocked off by a giant boulder.

2) 2nd Game I remember really really vaguely because I only played it for a short while after borrowing it from my friend, I won't be at all surprised that none of you know what I'm talking about. Anyway I think it was a game where you were a business man. I think it was mostly just a backround of where you where at the moment (train station, etc) and then you could choose what to do via some boxes placed there. I know it sounds cheap but I remember it being a rather good looking game. It came out around the same year as Captain Quazar(1996) because I belive they were on the same disc.

3) 3rd Game I also played for a brief amount of time but I got interested in it recentyl again. All I remember is that I think it's set in a futuristic setting, It's an action adventure game and you're controlling a female police officer. At the start of the game, I belive you have to pass the tutorial which is essentially just an obsticle course at the police academy or something.

If you took the time to read this, thank you. And I hope at least one of you knows what I'm blabbering about.

This sounds like Legend of the Dragoon. Turn based RPG, mostly top down view, and during combat you can change into dragoons with new armor, wings, and upgraded stats/powers.

i remember a game pack where one of the games you had a bunch of ropes that crossed each other and your goal was to untangle them occasionally there would be a red rope. Another game you had sets of 4 marbles with one or more of them being red blue or black, i do not remember the goal of that game. and the game i really liked on the game pack was the one where you had blocks placed around the screen and it was a kind of puzzle where you had to drop the blocks one by one down a hole on the screen but the restriction was that you moved all the blocks at the same time. Does anyone remember any of these? i think they were in windows. any help finding the name of the games would be much appreciated!

one more thing, it is quite some years old, i think i played it about 10-20 years ago, hope that helps :)

This third one could potentially be Oni.

Alright, I doubt anyone will know this from my Description since I last played it when I was what, 4? All I really remember is that you seem to start in a Room with bookshelves on either side of you, it was top-down view, and fireflies had a gameplay element(I think you used them to provide light in locations?). Doubt anyone will get it from that, but it's worth a try ;D

& It was most likely a Ps1 Game.

Edit: No way. I just managed to find it, out of PURE chance.. ;P (It was monkey hero, and looks like I was a little off about the Library start xD)

I forgot a detail, the robot looks a bit like big egg like an egg or capsule with arms and legs but stronger... I know its not helping a lot...

Hi all,
I remember playing a game perhaps in the 8-bit era or something very close (no more than 16-bit), which is basically a 2D platformer where main character is a little girl inside a robot (color redish and strong humanoid shape), the robot has a certain energy, after its finished its useless and then the girl should walk around on her own but she has so few energy that even weak enemies could kill her. I think the environment was something like a strange planet but as the graphics were very simple it has the aspect of first Super Mario games (SMB2 or so). Anyone know what game could this be? thanks for any clue =).
