Well, I'm not an expert in this game series since I never played them, but with that description it might be a game from the "Monkey Island" series, so you might want to look into it. Again, I don't know for sure.xProdius said:Snip

The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard?xProdius said:Okay, there was this game I used to play in the early 2000's on the PC, I think the game was older than that though. I remember starting out on a ship on the sea and I think there was another ship and they had my wife or some girl and her face was in sort of like a blury vision in the shape of a circle draining away. I then remember being in a town next to the ocean it kind of looked like an assassins creed city except really dumbed down and kind of tropical. You could swim in the water but there were sharks going around in circles in different areas, I remember that you could avoid them pretty easily and I swam across to another area which then led up to a cliff. Up on the cliff was this weird building with floating objects orbiting around in and outside of the building. It was kind of a myserious game and I think it was an adventure/Puzzle game. There were guards that would try to kill you in the town if you attacked them or anything else and I can kind of remember a light jungle behind the town. I know you had like a cutlass or some sort of sword as a weapon and I think the whole game was based on rescuing your wife from the guys that had kidnapped her at the start on the ship. This has been bothering me for a while now and i really NEED to know what this game was. It was actually a really good game and playing it would be really nostalgic and I look forward to it if anyone can help me. Thank you.

Things i remember:
*It's a fighting game, 2d from the side. Art and everything reminds a bit of Tekken series.
*There's no magic/special abilities/monsters.
*All characters are human.
*All characters used weapons. A couple i can describe a bit.
-One big dude had a big ass hammer
-Then there was a rich, cute girl with 2 Sai weapons(it's like a ninja dagger thingies).
-There was a guy with police batons.
-Another one was with three part nunchacku type stick.
-Another dude had a plain wooden stick.
*There was a survival mode witch i remember, the last person you have to fight is yourself, just a dark version or something.
Any ideas?
Not MegaRace but that is very similar!!!!!!!!!! We're getting closer! Help!Doomgriever said:Is it one of the MegaRace games then? It was released 1993 ( http://www.giantbomb.com/megarace/3030-18496/images/ )xmrmoox said:I believe it was a 1st person driving game (once you started driving), but had graphics (and feel) on par with what you shared here as "Death Drome". Definitely not Interstate 76 (though that was a fun game) as I think this game I played between 1990-1993. Thanks for responding - I need to figure this out! For some reason I really feel like the word "Death" is in the title..Doomgriever said:xmrmoox said:Ok, I need help identifying this game: I played it on the PC in the early-mid 90's. It was a multiplayer car racing game which I believe you could play over a modem with someone else. It's theme was that of Deathrace 2000 (like the old movie), but that was not the name of the game, though I feel like it's close to something like that (and not death rally either). You could customize the weapons on your car, and I think some of the car itself. - I remember while driving you could drop little mines behind you to blow up the other players. The NPCs were also themed like characters from a Deathrace 2000 world. I remember that basically you would need to take out all of the other players to win maybe as you race around the track. Any help would be MUCH appreciated, I've been trying to figure this out for like 2 years now - haha.. =)
(is the game top down like Death Rally? Or 3rd / 1st person?)
Quarantine 1 or 2? ( http://www.giantbomb.com/quarantine/3030-12283/images/ )
Interstate 76? ( http://www.giantbomb.com/interstate-76/3030-5279/images/ )

(I'm no expert on fighting games but..)DCFM001 said:Hey guys,
I was looking for an old arcade fighting game. Probably released around in the late 90's or early 2000's.
It had a 2D anime style drawing characters. I remember one character had a pink shadow as his weapon for fighting. On hindsight the pink shadow seems like wobbafet from pokemon.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks![]()
Was it Metal Marines? I haven't played it in years but that's what i thought of.Pointystick11 said:Hey guys, I was wondering if I could get some help.
I'm looking for a game from somewhere in the 90's. It was an RTS, which I played on the PC but I suppose could have been on other platforms. The plot was that the earth had been used up, the rich left in ships to wait for it to heal, while the poor remained on earth and stuck through it, eventually becoming a stronger society for it. After a long time the remnants of the rich return and invade. (At least this is what I remember.) I think there were only the 2 factions, the returning faction being red, the other being teal/blue. Units ranged from rifleman riding something which resembled a raptor, to mechs. Every infantrymen wore some sort of power armor. It's been bugging me all day.
Sadly not no. I stumbled across that as well when I went through the list on wikipedia. Thanks anyways though!Itchi_da_killa said:Was it Metal Marines? I haven't played it in years but that's what i thought of.
