I used to play this game on the PS2 and I have completely forgotten its name!
You had these monsters and you went in different warps I think and one of the earlier warps was to a forest and you had a battle scene like final fantasy and you could fight with your little monster and it could evolve And also later in the game you could fight your evil self and he had a tail and you fought him (dont know why i remember that part :p)
But if anyone remembers this game I would love you forever <3
Maybe Jade Cocoon 2? (never played it, but played the first one, and it sounds very similar)

Hi.
I am also looking for an old rpg game.
It was a demo I played between 1997-1999.
What I remember:
Main character was a farmer boy
Game started in a farmhouse.
Map and gameplay looked similar to zelda
It was possible to enter dungeons
The demo ende near some wall which required a key to go forward in your quests.

What system did you play it on? Was it 2D sprites or 3D models?

Hi.
It was rather 2 graphics PC game. The movement on map reminded a bit of Breath of fire with entering the houses etc, but the fighting was done in the same view so it was different. The story started out with some monsters invading the village or smth. It was probably on one of the shareware CDs sold during that period.
Maybe the name consisted a word kingdom in it, not sure :)

hi. unfortunately not. No jumping around.
The gameplay and graphics looked more like:
http://www.consoleclassix.com/info_img/Legend_of_Zelda_The_Minish_Cap_GBA_ScreenShot4.gif
The main Map had some kind of castle on the left side. A yard surrounded with fence on northern part of the map, there was a dungeon. The village where you started was in the top rightmost part of the map

Hi.
Ive been trying to remember the name of a game I played about 10 years ago but I really don't remember when. Im 95% sure it was on a CD if not multiple CDs. The graphics were quite realistic as well
It was a first person game where you solve puzzles to try and save someone...I think maybe the main characters husband
What I can remember about it is this;
1) I think you were playing a woman, not a man. The game starts in a forest and you have a PDA which you receive information on
2) After walking around the forest for a while you need to go towards a mountain and click on something beside it and you are transported into a library of sorts. Its got a brownish color to it, and it looks kind of 60's ish?
3) There are computers throughout the library, and one I remember when you click one of them, a guy comes up and says "Bring me the blue pages" more clicks makes him more angry when he says it again
4) One of the puzzles they had was where you needed to spell the longest word possible with the letters provided. You started by clicking on a computer again and it transports you to somewhere to solve the puzzle
5) Another puzzle was using buttons/objects placed in a maze to open more doors to get out
and the last thing I remember is a puzzle where you have to align planets on an old metal thing so when you set them in motion, they wouldn't collide.

Any help figuring out what the game is would be great!

I`m looking for two games I played, maybe between 1993 and 1997.

The first one was on a Cafe` arcade machine. It looked like a 2D plat former combat game like Contra but you never moved to the side.Instead you took cover behind sand bags ,drums etc and the enemies where in front of you(into the back ground),like Duck hunt. You shoot forward no the side. The camera was just behind your character.
You could also co-op.
At then end you would fight some boss, tank ,airplane.I remember the one boss was a submarine that came out of the lake.

The second game is a 2D platforming brawler in a Dojo or something.I played this at home on a game machine.
It was like Double dragon but you were locked in a single area to battle it out amongst friend or A.I
You could select these kid-like fatty characters. They looked like Japanese karate fighters but they were short and round.
They were dressed in black or white or grey ,red or blue karate outfits with belts. They also had different hairstyles.
You would fight in this Dojo among each other.Sometimes you could throw yourself like a spinning ball against each other and shoot up in the air and land again.

Thank you.

I used to play this game at my dad's friends house.
The only thing I can remember was that you were looking at what seemed to be a big room, filled with these little tiny coloured creatures, and when you clicked on them they would do some sort of animation, that was all I could remember.

I'm not even sure it was a game, it might have been a small part of an even larger game.

Well, since February I was waiting for an answer and still none. I will try to ask more precisely...

Platform: PC
Genre: Platformer, naval, action...
Year it was released: No more than a decade and maybe even a few more years, it could be a few years less than a decade, too... not so sure.
Perspective: Side view, 2D.
Protagonist: There was actually a selection between a gun boat, naval defense station thingy with guns on it, and if I'm correct there was one or two more vehicles.
Enemies: Bomber jets, fighter jets, not completely sure if there were naval enemies.
Setting: Modern, more or less.
Memorable Moments: I remember the first level was only an ocean at night (Not sure, most of the chances it was night.). The next level had an arctic background, icebergs, etc... it also had new enemies. Sadly, the second level stopped 5 seconds after it began to ask for a serial code since the game version was trial/demo. Also, I remember that the HUD had Roman numbers (I, II, III, IV, etc...) and I don't remember why they were there, perhaps weapon level or upgrades. I'm also almost sure that the enemy planes were green colored, most of them if not all of them.

I really liked the graphics of the game at that time, even though they are kinda old now, I considered them very good unlike other games at that time.

Note: It's NOT a flash game, it is downloadable.

That's pretty much it, I would be very thankful if someone could shoot out the title of the game.
Thanks in advance.
Anybody? I really really want to find this game, for years I've been trying to... help will be appreciated a lot.

The 'bring me the blue pages' part is either from Myst, or a game making a reference to Myst - but Myst did not have a female protagonist, nor did it have a PDA.

Are you sure you're not getting several different games muddled together?

Hi everyone.

For a few years now, I've tried to remember the name of two games I used to play as a kid but can't put a name on them

The first one was a platform game with a hero in some kind of armor. A littlebit like the first metroid. It was set in the future with the arrival of aliens that wanted to destroy the planet. They kinda looked like the aliens from the movie (it was not a licence game). I remember the "aliens" could go on every wall of the room and you could shoot them by aiming at a range of 180°C (down to top). You went to a next level by taking an elevator.

The second one, I always assumed it was Doom II but never found again the only "level" I remember. It was the last level. You were on a star-shaped-platform which was surrounded by lava (very Doom-like). There were no escape, only a "hatch". When you went inside, there were no light and the game ended with you killed by all the monsters of the room.

It was aroung 1995-1996.

Thank you :)

I remember this game, very vaguely. It was a Playstation 1 game. It had you playing as a; best way I can describe it "tribal dude" or maybe a girl. I think they had dreads and some facepaint. Flourescent maybe? . idunno, but it had this darkness to it, and remember a waterfall of some kind in it with a cave like entrance or something and you walked up to a few of them and one corpse looking thing chased after you with only half a body.
I forgot the name of it though and really want to know.
