A game i've been searching everywhere for but cant find.
I played it extensively on the ps1 demo discs. not sure if it was on the same disc as "team buddies" (which i found on this thread).
-It had an anime art style, partly side scroller at times i believe?
-The best point i saw was that the monsters you kill drop these tokens which you can then use to transform into that monster.
-Apparently the token (monsters) aged and eventually died, no longer letting you transform with that token.
The last bit the demo let me play (if im recalling correctly) was on a small sky island with a mausoleum i think
you had to possibly fight a gargoyle boss.
I have always wanted to play this game outside of the demo but, alas, it is now 2014.
Sounds like Threads of Fate to me!
If I may, I have an entry that I remember seeing my friend's mum playing when I was eight or so. (So like, 1996ish?)
I think it's either for the PS1 or the SNES (Those were the consoles out at the time)
It looked like an RPG to me, of some kind. The character who had very bright yellow hair, walked into a room. And his mum was doing a series of puzzles.
It was I think a bunch of "spot the differences" puzzles one after another in a series of double rooms.
And she asked us "What's the difference between this room and the other one?" and we couldn't figure it out. She then used the cursor which looked like a white hand to point out that in the previous room, the characters hair was moving (as if the other room had been windy) and this room was not.
So the answer was : His hair was stationary in this room.
I've always wondered what game it was, but I didn't know how to ask about it. Might anyone have any ideas? Please and thank you c:
(I looked up Alundra already thinking that might be it and that doesn't seem to be. The main character for that game's hair is a darker yellow and in a ponytail. The character I remember's hair was short and couldn't fit into a ponytail.)
